Knowledgeable staff, very helpful! I wish there was a wider selection of bicycle water bottles. Did find some nice bike bells!

People were very friendly. Employees were helpful. We brought Duke and Jake into Scheels and they love that place. The store is shifting things around a bit, so we took the time to look and shop until we found the pet toys. Duke and Jake are our Golden Retrievers. We bought some great toys for the boys. If you walk into Scheels, you will immediately notice their commitment to customer service by the sheer number of associates. All of them are very willing to help - and knowledgeable too. I have experienced above-and-beyond service in the golf, gun, and archery departments where they've called multiple other stores for a product, patiently answered my plethora of questions, bore sighted scopes, and put new components on my bow. They are definitely a great sports store.

Salesman tonight in the shoe department was phenomenal. He really helped me a ton. I got some Nikes that are quite stellar. I work long 12 hour shifts with endurance training after my shifts. I’m incredibly grateful for your store. Spectacular and stellar.

I made a purchase Saturday at the Cedar Falls store—$400+ golf apparel, and your salesperson (Maddie, Mandie??) made it one of the nicest experiences I’ve ever had. Very professional and friendly customer service.

The Scheels team members are the best. Marty J. at the men's shoe department helped me choose the best pair of shoes that fit and have unusual comfortability. With her wonderful guidance, I was able to purchase Oasics Gel-Kayano 30. Also, Jaxyn O. and Lyndfey G. were both super helpful with the shoe exchange process because I had to return the one that was making my feet feel uncomfortable. Scheels should have what you need when it comes to sports and outdoor adventures. The place is packed with stuff right up to the ceiling which may require assistance by an employee which depending on how you shop (in and out or linger all day) could be good or bad. Their employee to customer ratio is higher than the norm which reflects in their prices which gives them a high end feel but they do have the high end goods. These days you can’t shop or eat without some kind programming finding your ears and Scheels is no different as they share their feelings. It’s part of their brand and doesn’t bother me as I’m here to get something and get on with my day. Scheels is a decent sporting goods store with personable employees and better than average product availability. They even have a nice bicycle maintenance shop hidden back in a corner that gets no respect and has good bike techs and reasonable prices for the Cedar Valley. The location of this Scheels can be tough for the in and out shopper especially on the weekend as it’s in a corner of a parking lot trap with bad flow so bring your patience and game plan and everything should be ok.

Found what we needed and customer service personnel helped us find other items we needed. They were so nice to us. The ladies were the best. We bought wrestling shoes and compression shorts and shirt.

Great selection of firearms and great staff! Whether you're a bow hunter or a gun hunter, they're a good place to go. Ask for Kortni or Grant and they'll set you up!!!

Very awesome staff, Loved how proffessional the staff was for helping trying to locate if they sold a certain kind of pole or not. Wish I could remember the employees name, But very Awesome, Respectful, and Kind.

We made a fairly big ticket purchase today. This store has been our go-to store for outdoor gear for many years. We always get great service from knowledge employees. Everyone is always friendly and wants to help. The store is always clean and inviting. I'll be sick if anything happens to this store.

I don't like to leave reviews online because I feel that my continued business with an establishment is enough to show that I support said establishment. However, the experience that I had today was pleasant enough that I felt compelled to share it. I came into this store to purchase some ammo for a bit of target practice and approached the counter where I was met by Ace. Ace was polite, professional and very courteous during our brief interaction. He asked to see my ID and I showed it to him, he then said he was glad he asked because my veteran status allowed for a military discount. I never knew this the many times I shopped there, mostly because I don't like to ask for it, but Ace let me know that it was there for me. He also assured me that the more often he'd see me in the store, he would recognize me and would remember to add the discount the next time I may come to the store. He then thanked me for my service and my sacrifice and I felt it important to end our interaction with my sincere thanks for his support and a firm handshake. Ace was a fantastic employee and a pleasant individual to interact with, I hope he hears about the positive experience he gave me and is given merit for his actions.

101% happy with their gun department. I was out of town for work and found the gun I wanted their as a display gun. Blake (who was super knowledgeable) showed me a better option for a scope and bi-pod than it was displayed with and I’m loving the setup. Best part was both options he showed me for my Black Rain 6.5 were cheaper but totally worth it. Awesome job up there in Cedar Falls. I’m happy with calling it quits shopping at Dicks/Field and Stream in Davenport and taking the trip up to buy my firearms from you.

Tiffany was extremely helpful and so fun! Her customer service skills are top notch and she made sure to take care of us. My husband had shoes that broke after 4 months of wear and she made sure we got a new pair- she even walked over with him to customer service to ensure it got taken care of. My daughters also got fun stickers from her and one of the cashiers. You can really tell Tiffany loves what she does, and we sure appreciate her!

Can get pretty busy on weekends but it's got a large selection of stuff and the workers are very friendly.

Holidays are busy, but the team there were doing their bust to make it a good experience. The long check out line went very quickly.
