Michaels

I enjoy stopping in at this Michaels, plenty of items to find when it comes to shopping for crafting supplies. They have good deals and the staff is friendly. I recently bought some storage containers at a good price for storing fishing lures believe it or not. They could be used for many things otherwise but that was the goal. I will definitely visit again.

Nice and clean. Great selection of crafting things...I was particularly looking at cricut stuff. I didn't mean to look at the Halloween or Dia de los Muertos stuff...but 50% off everything and $100 later, here we are!

Went there for beads and they didn’t have some on re stock so I drove there over an hour to not have many options. Still a good spot for all the crafting needs. Always clean and pretty quiet so it’s a pleasant experience to shop there.

Sometimes Michael's will surprise you with what they have that the big-box home improvement stores don't. In this case, a particular type of heavy duty staples with different measurements than the other brands. Dritz is a brand I wasn't familiar with, and the crown of their staples measures 11.11 mm, or .4375 inches. The guy at Staples, the office supply store, could tell me as soon as he saw the stapler that they didn't carry that line, and the guy at Menards showed me their lines of staples, which likewise didn't match, but he gave me a helpful hint, resulting in a Google search. Apparently the stapler I had (my daughter in law's) was not used for construction, but for crafts, and craft stores were the only places that carried staple refills. A trip across the southern edge of Waterloo brought me to Michaels, and my search ended with success. I love it when everything falls together.

I have not been to a Michaels for a long time until recently. It is exactly how I remember. Nice store, staff is friendly and able to find unique items to fit the project we were working on.

Great selection and very friendly employees. Awesome sales too! I spent a little more than $13 total and I got 3 books of decorative card stock, 3 pretty washi tape rolls, and 2 classic novels: Black Beauty and The Secret Garden!

I needed help finding the right product and it was readily available! Very courteous staff.

Found tons of acrylic paint on clearance plus the door buster deals plus the coupons....I also found stuff I couldn't find at other craft stores like mini clay shapers for one. My only complaint is the isle were a little narrow for the electric scooter. But I was sure happy they provide an electric scooter for the disabled like me. Excellent service with a cheerful energetic clerk. Overall I am very impressed and will be visiting more often.

Always able to find *most* things i need...more times then not, its things i dont need, but they end up coming home with me anyways! I like the seasonal decor they offer!

We went to get a frame and the sales people were absolutely incredible. I cannot say enough about how good our frame shopping experience was. I do not care for frame shopping. But I look forward to frame shopping again as long as those wonderfully helpful frame staff was there again.

This is my favorite place to go when I am in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. It's so tempting to buy out all the seasonal decor!

Best hobby shop! Floral, sewing, kids crafts, great selection. Associates where helpful. Very clean, and oh so amazing with the current holiday decorations.
