This store is just great lots of great items and staff is outstanding

This store is an amazing clean organized place to shop if you need anything from clothes (baby to very large) to toys, sheets and beyond.. I will absolutely be returning to shop as well as when I clean out my closets, that's where I will take my things..

Oh one more thing, the less fortunate gets to shop here and gets free shoes that I know of for sure. I saw with my own eyes!!

Overflow is a great thrift store. It is well organized and the employees are knowledgeable and friendly.
The prices vary, they can be either incredibly amazing or a bit pricey depending on what you find.
It's worth checking out!

The only real downside to overflow is that their inventory doesn't move terribly fast. However, unlike other thrift stores in Ames the prices here are much lower and the overall quality is much higher! So if you want to pay $90 a busted up dresser that reeks of cigarettes, you'll have to find it somewhere else (I'm looking at you, Salvation Army). Also, their first of the month sales are the best. I go every month now.

Best thrift store in Ames - and probably Story County. It's clean, it's well organized, the staff and volunteers are friendly, and all profits go to charitable organizations. It even SMELLS better than other thrift stores. :) Can't say enough good things about Overflow!

The non-thrift store thrift store. Clean, creatively displays, cute dressing rooms, a bench to sit on while you try on shoes, and even decorations in the clean bathrooms! Overflow is a great shopping experience, plus all the fun finds and friendly volunteers. I've found great clothes, shoes, housewares, even a snowboard, dining room table, rocking chair, board games, antiques--you name it! Love this store!

I love this place. It’s organized fairly well, the prices are cheap, the staff are friendly, and their mission is something I can stand behind. They have $1 for (pretty much all) clothing every first weekend of the month, which is awesome. Only thrift store I go to in Ames

Come here to give second life to clothes, appliances, furniture, and more! Half of the stuff in our house is from Overflow and we love it. Plus, where else can you shop to help kids around the world? Overflow donates a portion of every sale to supporting children in Africa!

I love this store. I can find treasures I never see at other thrift stores and the prices are more reasonable as well. Very nice volunteer employees and the proceeds are going to a great cause.

There are some really amazing finds here, and they change their display based on the seasons. All of the proceeds go to charities such as women shelters, orphans in Haiti, and halfway houses. The idea is to donate our "overflow" to help those around the world who aren't as fortunate. They have everything from books, to clothes, to baskets, cards, and furniture

We come check it out every time we're in Ames, always happy with the selection and prices! Plus, can't beat the benefits all going to a great cause. Win-win!

A great place to shop and donate usable stuff from your 'overflowing' abundance to help others. Bonus of great new friends if you become a volunteer there!

Nice clean store. A bit on the churchy-side. The selection doesn't seem to change as rapidly as other places, but it is very nice place.

Great deals great products even if they are second hand the prices are awesome they are actually cheaper then Salvation Army or Goodwill a lot of the time

You can always find a good bargain there at great prices.
