World Liquor & Tobacco + Vapors

Looking for the cheapest gas in Ames? Find it at World Liquor and Tobacco; BP gas station. It's right on the west side of Duff Ave. just north of Lincoln Way. You can pay at the pump with a card, but if you want a receipt, you have to go inside. Staff that work inside are as friendly as anyone could possibly be. They have all the typical items found at quickie mart type stores, plus they have a food truck in their parking lot. This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend this place. Pro tip: Plan on coming from the north. Head south across the railroad tracks near main street. It's on your right hand side. Plan to exit using the alley headed straight west. Take the alley to Kellogg and turn on Kellogg Ave. Remember, this business is located just north of the intersection of Duff and Lincoln Way. It can be very challenging to get in and out depending on the time of day and traffic flow if you don't use this method.

Great place and keeps things local. Kelsi and Rhylee always have smiles and always willing to go above and beyond! Definitely a must stop if you need spirits or just a cold soda!

Love this place everyone is so nice and friendly. Kelsi and Rhylee are always making my visit feel more like family. Everything your looking for when it comes to liquor and tobacco is definitely at this place.
