Blaze Pizza

Whenever I come to Ames I always eat at blaze Pizza. When people ask me what kind of pizza place it is, I said it's like a Subway but it's pizza. You get to either choose signature pizzas from the menu or you can choose individual ingredients. There are even dessert options. It's always very quick and I love the choices. My teenagers also love this place and we're never disappointed. I just wish LeBron didn't own 10% because I hate putting money in his pocket. I'm going to give it five stars because I love the product. But I will say every time I go there it's hard to find a table that's been cleaned and I feel like the eating area could be a little more picked up, swept, tables wiped down, etc.

Great food and service! Best way to describe it that is easy to understand is like it’s a Subway for Pizza! Mix and match creating your own and many options! Highly recommend giving it a try! Pizza is enough for 1 or just a couple slices to take home. Also have a great alternative for their fountain pop straw waste with a lid that already has a hole.

This is so good. I recommend building your own pizza. The dough is tasty and crunchy. There is plenty of vegetarian ingredients which is awesome. Service was friendly. Definitely a place where I like to go when I’m visiting Ames.

My family had a pizza party because Blaze Pizza was helping a club at Ames Middle School that my grandson belongs to. Even waiting for our sx pizzas to be ready for takeout was enjoyable! The five or six young people who were working really knew their jobs and worked smoothly together. They were all kept really busy but still managed to be polite and friendly with their customers and with each other. The customers all seemed to be having a good time, too, a nice mixture of family groups and Iowa State University students. It made me think that my family group might want to try during in next time, rather than take out.

And the pizzas were delicious!

What's not to love about spending 10 bucks to build your own pizza and have it ready in just a few minutes??!! There is some great management there bc everyone on the Blaze team was smiling and friendly.

I really enjoy their fast fire oven pizzas! Parking is limited but understandable considering it’s so close to campus. Hidden gems are their deserts! You should probably try the s’mores cookie sandwich next time you are in there.

The pizza was great. It's Campus Town so parking is a pain but it was worth it. The person working the oven was really impressive. I'll definitely eat there again.

One of the BEST pizzas I've ever eaten!!!! I'm originally from Chicago. I now live in Georgia. There is a Pie5 pizza near me that's similar to Blaze but Blaze is soooo much better tasting. Very nice lively atmosphere. Nice customer service with smiling faces. I LOVE the open fire oven! I think that makes the BIGGEST difference between the 2. Very deep seasoning. I had the original crust sausage and pepperoni 😋. 3 WORDS......D......LISH......US!!!! Located along the Iowa State University campus. Prime location. An unusual sippy cup top for your drink cups. (no straws ) It was different. Your boy The RIBOLOGIST IS OUT ✌🏾

Tried Blaze Pizza tonight, billed as a "build your own" personal sized pizza place, it was pretty good. While you dont actually "build it" yourself, the workers do, they are very freindly, and helpful. The ingredients were high quality, variety was good (I counted at least 5 types of cheeses),the service was fast as
advertised. Prices run from 4.95 for a cheese pizza, to 6.25 for a one topping, 7.95 for their signature pies, I shall return!

Very tasty with gluten free options. Good and unique toppings. Goat cheese. Chorizo Italian meatballs salami... white sauce option for base. Spicy but not too spicy red sauce base. Family favorite when picking up kid at ISU.

Pizza was tasty and fast! Didn't realize it only takes a couple minutes to cook which was nice. Ate on the patio, which was also nice. Pizzas are big enough to share, but small enough to eat on your own if you're hungry. We'll probably eat here again.

My husband and I were looking for something different to do for lunch and he suggested Blaze.

He came out and picked it up after I placed the order online, very easily and efficiently.

He brought it to work and we enjoyed it. It was cooked to perfection and everything was fresh.

You can make your own pizza here. I tried “Green stripes” and “link in” and those were really tasty. I would highly recommend this place.

absolutely love this place. my favorite restaurant in ames. i do not recommend the gluten free unless you have to as it is very thin and gets quite burnt in their wood fired oven. build your own is amazing, unlimited toppings for one set price. i come here all the time!

Love the idea that you don't have to pay for extra toppings. The 3 minute pizza cook time is also a huge plus. This was my first time but I'll be back.

We had delicious pizzas, pizza bread with extra cheese (my new favorite) and crispy salad while visiting with my college student and her friends. Alli was very nice and made our experience a breeze! Her customer service was top notch!! We will definitely be back again!

The Keto pizza was amazing!!! I ordered to go but wished I'd stay. It was really cool to see the fire cooking the pizza! Wasn't thrilled about the price but it was really good pizza!!@

Good service, very helpful with options, and great tasting pizza coming to us very quickly.
