The Comic Book Room

I started shopping at this place a decade ago and have remained a patron since. More than half of my collection came from the Comic Book Room. There's always a deal going on and they are willing to work with you concerning cash deals.

I sold part of my collection and was very pleased with the professionalism and offer. I knew I wasn't going to get online prices... ...they have to make their money too and most online prices are so uneducated. Wishful thinking doesn't make it reality. But it was definitely easier than attempting to sell everything myself.

The guy I mostly dealt with was cool. He offered me snacks.

I'll start with the staff. Stephen and Ben can answer any questions about the products they sell. They take the time needed to help me make an informed purchase. Speaking of purchasing, I've not only bought stuff from this establishment, but also sold items to them as well. I really love the fact that I can get cash without having to wait an eternity as is usually the case when selling stuff online. Display cases are well organized and their library of vintage comics is superior to anything I've seen in eastern NC. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

Lots of really cool stuff! Organized pretty well, too. The guy behind the counter didn't seem very friendly but it's fine because he was rather helpful when we were looking for some specific stuff! It's a really good place to look for a specific comic, and has some other really cool stuff.

Traveling from Ahoskie to Jacksonville to visit family. My brother and I stopped in the shop on our way back. Guy at the counter was super awesome. I'm an avid DC comics collector and I found the store amazing with the collectibles, comics and prices. The prices were very affordable and I left with about 20 books. If I could make a suggestion, a way to catalog inventory would be nice. Also checked out the shop next door. Sadly can't remember the name. Staff were very friendly and nice. An amazing collection of gaming systems and games. I bought a reasonably priced PS4 game from there and a new remote. Will definitely return on the trip back there.

Great finds here and safe place to buy used electronics. The staff is wonderful and Mary is the best! Also it's a great place to bring your well mannered kids (chaos is not recommended as there are some very expensive collectibles in here) to bond over collectibles and toys you loved and played with as a child.

Took me and my boys there and the place was amazing! They have tons of figures and some really great comic issues. They also price their items reasonably. Also the girl behind the counter was very nice and respectful. Definitely planning a future trip there again.

Rory was extremely helpful into finding exactly what I needed for some early Christmas presents! My mother-in-law also said she appreciated all of his help in finding exactly what she needed, was super friendly the entire time and was nothing but helpful and kind to her and my girlfriend. He is an excellent employee! My girlfriend and I are regular customers there and my mother-in-law said she will come by from Virginia and take the 6 hour drive to come visit the shop again! :)

Rory always is super helpful and a great employee to interact with! My boyfriend and I are in the shop at least once a week and Rory is always talkative and makes the experience amazing every time we come in!

Found a few treasures there... the guy working there was a sweetheart and seemed to be knowledgeable in the Genre of comics I was interested in... I just wish the comics were labeled alittle more... but I guess half the fun is flipping threw and seeing if you will come across a diamond... the comics are also a fair price!

Found a bunch of cool stuff here for a good price. Definitely popping back in here anytime I come back down this way. Everything you'd want out of a store like this 10/10

Really nice place. The man we spoke with knew so much. Prices seemed reasonable.

Professional, knowledgeable, a joy to speak with and most of all gave me a fair deal on my comic book collection.

We drove up to see what they had and was impressed with the store's merchandise. Our son was in his element. Great surprise!!!

Great little comic book shop in the Jacksonville area. Great assortment of comics and toys, and very reasonable prices. If you are in the area go check it out or make a day trip down to see it.
