Clean store. Large inventory. Did end up over paying for a GameCube game because we thought it had the book(priced as complete and was in a case) so just double check before hand. Still 5 stars because everything was good. They have a good return policy but too far for a game. Lol
Ended up leaving with sega cd and other games priced well.

Great store! Randomly wanted to get a ps2 and was recommended to come here. Upon initial purchase, the console I bought wasn’t properly reading discs. They were able to replace it no issue. Has a good selection of games and the store is nicely laid out, overall highly impressed and would recommend this small business!

Me and my boyfriend love to come here and check out the Pokémon cards!! They have a ton of Funko pops and we also get some of our best Funko pops from this shop! This is one of our most favorite places to come to when looking for Pokémon cards or Funko pops! Also whenever we are trying to find games for some of our older systems this is a great place to go as well!! We love it here!!

Champion City is my local game store and has been amazing to work with! A lot of fun events, great prices on products and is often frequented by regulars who are always down for a game!

The staff knowledge is second to none. They have a vast selection of everything you are looking for from pokemon to sports cards and an amazing selection of retro and current video games.

I 100% recommend going. The owner and the employees are very kind!! Ever since I’ve bought my Wii from here a couple years ago, I’ve preferred here!

Personally, me and my kids enjoy coming here to buy our pokemon cards. I think prices for bulk pokemon cards are reasonably priced. They also sell a pack of 10 cards for $2. My daughters love getting these mystery packs. This is our only spot to buy cards. Me and my daughters have grown our pokemon card collection exponentially over the past few months of coming here. However, i honestly couldnt tell you what is considered rare or how to grade cards or whats what. Me and my daughters just buy to fill out our binders. I've also bought a few ps2 and xbox 360 games. This place has a VERY WIDE assortment of items for every age group/generation. 5 stars all around

Real chill dudes, good environment, QUITE the selection of retro and current video games and a really really solid tabletop and card games. Oh, and sports cards too.

My kids love this place. Sometimes card/game/comics shops can be a bit closed off to young kids but Champion City Video Games is very inclusive. They’re always very nice and have even “helped” my kids when they’re a few cents short thanks to tax. I am glad we have a cool store like this in town that doesn’t gatekeep younger gamers.

I've been coming to this store for years now and I've got one thing to say about it: it is perfect.

I've met the owner, Kenny, and he's one of the nicest store owners I've met. His store keeps the feeling of true gaming alive with his multi-generational console assets and games while also expanding his store size and reputation. I've left many good and bad reviews of other places in both the Springfield and Columbus areas and I say that this place is neither good nor bad, it's FANTASTIC. Truly a store to remember and a sight to behold.

I was able to buy 2 wii controllers and they were very nice when the first ones didn't work. They allowed me to return them for the ones that I needed.

Bought yugioh cards sadly they dont carry much of them but were very nice to help me, one of the best cd buffers in town by far. heavily recommend if you have gamecube games that cant read

Absolutely love coming here. They always have so much to look at and always have the best card selection from graded singles to sealed products. And they have old retro gaming systems and games, ad well as newer game systems and games. Definitely a place I recommend checking our if you're into trading cards and or video games.
