Beautiful place to hike and enjoy the outdoors. Many outdoor activities available. I wish they did not close/lock the restrooms so early. The park is open til "dusk"..( when the sun sets/ dark). Restrooms need to be available til then as well. Nature. Wildlife. Bird watching. Exercise. Hiking. Boating. Fishing. Playgrounds. Camping. And many other activities available.

The hiking trails are from easy to moderate in effort. Between walking up to the lookout by the spillway, to the Buckhorn Trail, and finishing up walking to the visitor center and back, we managed 10 miles.

Nice place to spend in the evening and even whole day for group of families. Just an hour drive from Columbus. Don’t forget to plan to visit the beach within few miles on the other side of the reservoir. I didn’t get chance to rent boat or jet ski, may be you can plan that as well.

Such a great place to go year round! I've seen so many incredible wild animals here and beautiful plants. Great place to take pictures, I had some of my senior pictures taken her in the fall and it was perfect! The Buckhorn is my favorite trail here, but anywhere you wander is sure to be good!

Went here on a date the other day, great little trails to go on. We watched the sunset over the water and it was beautiful! Also have great camping sites and a little park. We have had many family events here and it's always been a wonderful time. Love to walk and enjoy each other's company. In the summer it's a great place to swim and tan. Great place to bring friends and family. Make sure to race up Snoopy's Hill!

We packed our lunch today. The 1st. nice day in a while. Low humidity. We found a nice clean picnic table and no bugs. We couldn't believe it. Been going there over 50 years and it's never disappointing. Beautiful area. Springfield is lucky to have such a place.

Very clean park. Plenty of parking space. Both men and women's public restrooms are disabled accessible. Great for outdoor picnics.

I grew up in Springfield so I've come here several times. They have a beach side, a woods for camping, and on the other side you can go hiking or running on the wall Bridge thing. There's also places to have picnics and a small play ground. As a kid I wasn't impressed but as an adult I really like everything it has to offer. And it's not super crowed like hiking places in California. You can truly be at peace in nature here....I wish they had a kayaking experience though.

It is my favorite place, I think it needs a garden of flowers and plants, and maybe plant more trees to make it perfect
