It was an absolutely lovely park to visit. There were plenty of places for picnics. The hiking trails were beautiful. They have a historic home on site that can be toured. The park also includes the peckowee battle site. This is a park I would recommend visiting.

Good little park! Relatively clean and some good fishing for the family. I kayak here just to blow off some steam. Great trails!

The Fair at New Boston is always fun. We look forward to it every year. We have some fun memories of my son and his friend getting conscripted into the newly formed US Navy one year, and all my kids being taken prison by a Native American tribe the next. We have so much watching the live action reenactments (the cannon fire scares the kids every time) and the amount of history learned from a fun family weekend. It is just sad that the Native American history and way of living isn't being portrayed anymore. We miss visiting and learning that part of our history, too.

I've been going here since I was young. Nice spot for a quick hike with family, friends and/or kids. The pond is good for fishing and kayaking. I've also went and just had lunch at the picnic tables. Trail is relatively short in comparison to others but it's still a beautiful park. Pictured is the waterfall which is a nice place to stop and sit for a while. So relaxing.

Cool park! My sons really into learning about Native American right now promoting our visit and we ended up having a nice little hike and checked out all the reconstructed living areas and we really enjoyed it. There’s SO MUCH space for picnics, hiking, and if you drive or hike to the very back of the park there’s a lake where you’re able to get out and fish, relax, walk. Also very clean and unkept. Would visit again, as far as Native American sites there may be better locations but this one’s nice and can’t get more budget friendly than free lol.

This place is so beautiful and I love the hiking trails of this area. It doesn’t do it’s justice. I love the waterfall. I posted the waterfall video.

This is a great park with lots of wonderful different things to see. It has a lot history, variety of scenic things and activities to do. The hiking trails were really nice, well maintained and well marked. You get to see a small waterfall, a pond, bridges, and the Rookery Romp play area was pretty cool. Highly recommend checking out this place, especially if you're in the area, you wont be disappointed.

Very nice park with lots of short to medium trails in a variety of terrain, from fields to woods, flat to hills, streams and lakes. Add the incredible history of the park—birthplace of Tecumseh and site of one of the most important battles between native Americans and American forces— and you’ve got a great place to spend a few hours. Or a day. And don’t forget to check out the reconstructions of frontier and Shawnee structures!

This is a well maintained park. It is known for its Labor Day weekend Fair at New Boston event and there is an entrance fee for the Fair. I visited to see the lake and to hike which was free. It also has a museum which I did not see, but I think there is a charge for that and it is open limited hours.

We rented a shelter house for graduation party, was nice and secluded! Grass could have used cutting but overall it was really nice with a bridge, access to fishing and trails! Good price!

Such a beautiful park to spend a few hours at. Ample things to do for the entire family. We enjoyed the Woodland Indian Village, exploring the different type of buildings that were found in an Indian village.

Not only did we enjoy the village, but the trails as well. Trails were easily marked and were suitable for all ages. We enjoyed the trail that to took us to the waterfall just above Hosterman Lake.

Didn’t get a chance to play on the nature playground that was closed due to the outbreak but we could see it from a distance. Looked like it would be a lot of fun to try.

Highly recommend this place if you enjoy the outdoors for hiking and picnicking. Or looking to learn how local Indians lived and took care of the land. Want to return when the nearby interpretive center and historical house are opened (closed due to COVID)

Great little park with multiple short trails, a lake, re-created Indian village, fort, museum, and an actual battlefield from the 18th century. It's free for entrance to the park, but cost a few dollars for the museum. Great place for some peace and quiet.

I went to Fair at New Boston and had a great day. The park is a great place for walking and enjoying nature just outside of the city. The permanent and semi-permanent colonial buildings and plaques are great historical resources to learn more about the area for visitors of all ages.

Lots of shade and a waterfall. Lots of unique areas of the park. Went Labor day Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. A hidden gem for sure.

I really enjoy the park. Many different trails to walk and places to sit. It has a small waterfall, indian village, a little play area and a huge hollowed tree which is really cool.

We enjoy participating in programs facilitated by Clark County Parks volunteers and employees. There's a good number of trails at this park, large fishing pond and a nature playground.

Photos are from the Fair at New Boston in August. Lots of good food. Plenty of interesting historical sights for kids to see. My 6 year old son had a great time seeing the cannon fired. My 13 year old ran around with some friends and bought some jewelry.
