I've been there a couple of times visiting family in elkton and the workers were nice each time, the store wasn't dirty which is a plus, where I live seems like no workers like to clean up the stores

They had everything we were looking for and more. They even had some really good specials. This is our go-to shop.

This has been my go-to liquor store for as long as i have been in the area. Friendly helpful staff. Great selection of Beer Wine and Spirits. You can play the lottery her as well get snacks. Large selection of cold beer, smaller selection of child wines.

We love this store. The prices are fair and the variety is great no matter what you are looking for. I'm not sure what happened with some customers mentioning rude behavior from Amanda but she is pleasant, helpful and smiling every time we go in!

Great selection always friendly

One of, if not the best liquor store in the area. I'm a bourbon drinker and they have a great selection with some rare bottles. Best of all, their prices are absolutely reasonable and not marked. Great store!

Love this store . I have been going in here for years . The cashier Amanda and the other girls do an amazing job . They are always so helpful, especially when it comes to recommending new products to try . The selection this store has is awesome. Definitely recommend stopping by and checking this store out .

They have awesome prices

The wine selection and prices are awesome. Driving down from Delaware where we have no sales tax and looking through their "wine sale bin" and paying about $12.65 for 3 bottles of wine is great AND these aren't those wines that they can't sell and just throw in the bin... these are quality wines. My neighbor suggested it to me and I was wowed. I just bought 3 bottles of Yellow Tail wines for the "12.?" price and they are quality brand wines. I used to drink Yellow Taill Chardonnay years ago and though I don't drink anymore but because of a friend's suggestion I head down to Elkton, MD from Bear, DE which is about a 5 to 10 (tops) minute drive to buy gifts for friends and family. The Yellow Tail is an outstanding Australian wine that you would typically pay at least $9.99+, usually more per bottle and here you are buying 3 for less than $27 dollars and today they had Cabs, Red Mix, Chardonnay, pinot noir and one other white... plus the options to choose from is amazing.
HAVING SAID ALL THAT....last week I went down for my friend who is under the weather to pick up a few specific wines that were in their bin for his friend, it being my first time there I asked for help immediately as I didn't quite understand the bin idea. There were 3 young ladies who were more than happy to go out of their way to help show me the bin but they then helped me find the specific wines my friend wanted... took us/ them about 10 minutes... but they helped without saying something like "there's the bin just start looking," which is what I would usually get in response for asking for specific help these days but these young ladies were helpful, outgoing, personable and professional and FRIENDLY, another lost attribute to younger workers.
I cannot recommend a package store more highly then I do Jayco. It is located on Rt. 40 west about 5 miles (if that) on the right hand side. Go... if you are like me and don't drink but have friends or family that do as you cannot go wrong trying Jayco out. Hell in all seriousness the way the workers behave, and are willing to help WITH A SMILE plus their prices make Jayco well worth your barely out of the way trip.
I'm a lifelong Delawarean and growing up alls we heard about was how wonderful State Line Liquors was/ is.... well Jayco might be smaller but the experience you'll have and the price you'll pay for high quality products is well worth the "hype" you get from shopping at State Line... remember... it's not just the size that counts it's the overall experience... you won't beat this experience I promise.

I wish you employees ONLY the best over the holiday season... you deserve all of the accolades you receive and you should receive MANY!

I'll certainly do what I can to keep everyone especially us Yankee Delawareans coming to your store... for many reasons.
