What a sight for tired, traveling eyes - Cracker Barrel. This store had just opened and I found myself wanting to eat everything on the menu. On this day I was just passing through and needed a good hearty breakfast to get my day started. Started with a sweet tea, and then dove into the Old Timers Breakfast platter, the food was fresh, and the biscuits were SO fluffy. The biscuits and gravy were to die for, pork sausage is still stuck in my brain. Service was limited to one server, and she was busier than a one arm paper hanger. She got the job done and I was in/out in no time. Check out this location, it’s kind of in a of location, but no way you’re missing the HUGE sign about it. You can see it from the highway. Enjoy!

Mariah was my server. She promptly took our order and was very polite. My meal was delivered quickly, and was hot and delicious. Mariah's service was commendable, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who comes to eat here.

Delicious food, great prices, super friendly service, fast, lots of tables, awesome antique decorations on the walls, great drink selection, good old country songs and an amazing country gift shop that includes toys, novelties, rare snacks, rare drinks, rare candies, tshirts, clothing and nice decorations!

It is always a fun time when you visit here.

Also tons of tables, delicious chicken, chicken sandwiches, and burgers.. very tasty steak fries. The parking lot is huge and free parking as always.

I really appreciate that they have real plastic straws!! Thank you!!! 😃

If you've been to a cracker barrel you likely know what to expect. This location was as good as the best experience I've ever had at one. Not too crowded which helped keep things moving along. We were seated promptly and with a smile. Our waiter was super excited to take care of the table and constantly checked in on us and refilled our drinks. Good came out piping hot, cooked to perfection. Gravy to die for. The biscuits, oh the biscuits. Do good you could eat two baskets and still want more. Ordered the beignets for dessert and they were very tasty. Not sure if I'll ever be in the area again but would return 100%. How can a place that sells Hydrox cookies do wrong?

The food is delicious. Not exactly healthy, but good in moderation. Our server was busy but very attentive and great. The tables were a little too crowded, and waitresses and patrons alike almost knocked items off our table while squeezing past us while we ate. Also, I wish the music selection matched the variety for sale in the record album selection in the store. Nothing but country music is not pleasant when one finds country music annoying and trite.

The food was great. Our server Carolyn was outstanding! She was so nice and on top of things!

I also have to give kudos to the manager. My sister had originally ordered a specific latte. They stopped serving the Pumpkin Spice latte. The manager came to our table and explained they no longer had the Pumpkin Spice latte. He asked my sister if a Cinnabon latte ( their new one) would be okay with her. She said "that will be fine. " It was delicious! Yes, I sampled it!!!

Talk about customer service! To have the manager himself come to our table? Wow!

Don't forget to ask for Carolyn! Sorry about the half eaten food. I was starving!😂

It was a nice late Winter day out, and nobody felt like cooking because they were all at the Cracker Barrel restaurant we typically patronize. It was extremely busy - nearly as busy as Thanksgiving.

I have been going to Cracker Barrel since the 1970’s. Ate at Cracker Barrel from Delaware to Duke University Hospital in Durham North Carolina for treatment of my Psoriasis. Always had good service in Restaurant as well as great help with many items I bought in the store. On Wednesday, Dec. 23rd. I stopped to Cracker Barrel in Elkton Maryland where I have eaten several times. I signed in and when I was being seated, I told the Hostess, I did not like to be seated in the middle plus I could feel cold air. The Hostess told me I would have to be put on the waiting list again. Never have I been told that. So I took the seat and keep my heavy coat on while I ate. It wasn’t because there were no other tables. I am 82 years old and Love Cracker Barrel. Will continue to eat there but I will definitely ask for the manager. I ended up spending over $250.00 in the store..

Food was delicious, as always. Server was very friendly. Our 2 y.o granddaughter's food was out later than everyone else's. Manager was very nice and came over and apologized for the wait. No big deal - we all just shared ours with her until her pancakes came out.

It’s been over a year since I went to Cracker Barrel.
The service was average and the server forgot my cup of coffee.
I had ordered the hearsal breakfast scramble eggs hashbrowns sugar glazed ham with a side of biscuits sausage gravy grits.
It seems the breakfast was a smaller portions on everything the scrambled eggs for a small portion the hashbrowns was just almost 2 maybe 3 tablespoons if that the sugar glazed ham was small also.
Even my friend who join me for breakfast he said the same thing he had sunny side up with his eggs with the sugar glazed ham and hashbrowns also.
We both said the same thing we won’t be coming back there for a while maybe possibly the pandemic is causing staff shortage and such.
The only good thing about Cracker Barrel at this time is the lobby area I’ll show me things are bringing back so many memories that you were growing up and have some ideal items for you to purchase.
Well 7 months later, I decided to go back and have a nice dinner.
To my surprise the service was outstanding thanks to Vickie.
The food was great.
They are back to their full menu.
The portions were large.
The price was reasonable.
Back to the 5 star rating.
Looking forward to go again.

We ordered one of the Family Meals to go for the first time. It was delicious and a great value --- steak tips and grilled chicken strips! Highly recommend.

Had a working breakfast meeting there. Our server Carolyn was great and always smiling. She deserves the 4stars she wears. Food was great and kept me thru lunch. Also, the bathroom temperature was perfect as the temperature outside was in the thirties

Hadn't been here in many years, but decided to try it out today and had the pleasure of being seated in Crystal's section. She made us feel right at home immediately and provided fast service with a huge smile. I'll definitely be asking to sit in her section again! Thanks Crystal :)

Went on a Thursday evening, in which a new server waited on use she was phenomenal. She was very polite and very prompt. Didn't have to ask for a refill on the beverage. She was well trained and very oriented with her duties.

We moved to Glasgow, DE from the midwest three years ago and have avoided going to this Cracker Barrel because the rating was SO low compared to the ones we frequented back in Indiana. Today I looked again and it seemed like the numbers had improved, and my partner and I were feeling up for a roll of the dice, so we went. And let me tell you... it was... perfectly fine.

Seriously, it was Cracker Barrel. Looked like, smelled like, tasted like Cracker Barrel. Everything (we saw) was clean, everyone was friendly, the food was good. I got to stock up on bottles of Moxie for the first time in years. The closest I can get to a criticism is that it kinda-sorta felt like everyone there was new. I don't know if that's the case, but that's kinda how it felt. But everyone was also clearly trying their best, and doing a good job, so no complaints. We'll definitely be back.

I usually get Uncle Hershel's w/fried catfish, now it is build your own. I also get greens instead of apples. Nice that I am able to adjust it to just what I like!!

Our family needed to eat after a long day of adventure. To get to it you have to take a back road that seems sketchy. However there’s hotels, and other restaurants. Once you arrive a crackle barrel. It’s the same as any other. The local individuals are what make the experience comforting and nice. We were sat quickly. The waitress was amazing for having patience with us. Two small kids for 2 hour car ride. Each parent took a turn with a kid in the restroom. Before we could finally order. Our food was served quickly and hot. My only complaint was not enough ice for the warm sweet tea (freshly made). As we left the boys picked out 2 toys for the car ride home. It was a great experience.

Food took 25 minutes to get to our table as opposed to the 10 minutes from the time the drinks were served. The resteraunt was nearly empty of guests. Our server was a 5 star but barely tentative to us. We had to flag another server twice for drinks. The food was prepared with too much salt and couldn't taste the food due to the salt. The eggs I ordered also spoiled in my stomach.
All of our kids' food plus my food was cold except my wife's, which was hot. Worst Cracker Barrel experience I've ever had.

Great, home-style food. The Sunday Homestyle Chicken and the Chicken and Dumplings are favorites. Friendly staff. Great prices. And the gift shop is sure to rope you in.
