Walmart Supercenter

This is our preferred Walmart throughout the states of Maryland and Delaware. I like the way the store is run, constantly updating the isles with new inventory and the cleanliness of the store and the restrooms. Also, the staff are very courteous and go above and beyond in helping customers with their requirements.

My favorite grocery store. Time-saving and all in one place. But the lady in the bakery section always puts back-date bread. We can't ever find the same date-packed fresh bread.

Very slow at self checkout people need to be trained if they are doing there own groceries

Love this store, they even had cashiers in this one.

Elkton Walmart consistently has the products I use regularly in stock, and for that I am grateful.

Missing a few things that I needed but a nice store overall.

Of the many walmarts in the area this one is the bes tby far. organized, clean, staff is courteous and well stocked. this is my go-to shop!

MICHELE was our cashier, and not only was she personable, she went out of her way to make sure my clothes didn't get wet or dirty on the belt. Those are the small things that will bring me back to this store. She cared about things she didn't have to, and I appreciate her efforts.

They had the items I needed in stock, and I save a lot of money by using different coupon apps.

I went the Sunday after black Friday. The store was Packed!!. But everyone was in a good mood. The store was well stocked and they had lots of employees there!.

A very good large superstore Walmart that has the most full planogram sections of any store around this area. If it shows it on the internet chances are this store will have it in stock. It has an automotive section and everything... Everything is still the same. Still the best place...

Always find the things I can't find elsewhere. I've been on the prowl for this lavender baby oil gel and so glad I finally found it so I brought 3! Then I found the sauce I can't live without stinging honey garlic brings joy to my taste buds. This location is the go to spot for everything you need a one stop shop love that they are also 24 hours, it's worth crossing the state line. It takes long to get to Middletown than coming here from Claymont.

Has produce, a bakery, deli and meat section like a traditional grocery store as well as a pharmacy. I always get a lot of stuff at decent prices!

My 3yr old grandson calls this his favorite store. He always gets a toy from their large selection after we do our grocery shopping. I also get most of my summer pool and garden supplies here. Winter and holidays bring everything I need to get through the year.

We get delivery of groceries from Walmart, usually good. Unfortunately Easter Sunday is the day the driver delivers the wrong order and leaves us not with what we need for the day and short a lot food items!
The stores manager did take care of us, we went to the store to escalate the issue and the manager took it upon herself to make it right! This was AWESOME customer service!! I am not the easiest customer and this was a frustrating situation, as family was already at the house. The manager Jen was poised, polite, listened and resolved our barrier by getting the order picked for us right there, Thank you!!!

Great staff and prices

I live right next to  Walmart 8n Delaware but the Elkton SuperStore is a completely different experience. It's bigger, has food shopping,  and I picked up my contact lenses from the vision center. We don't have vision centers in any Walmart in Delaware as far as I know. They have their own mini Joann Fabric isle, two isles actually.  And it's a no brainer that the prices are almost a third less. I used to frequent Joann's because  it's close by and if I saw people looking at anything I knew Walmart had , I  jumped in and told them exactly how much the same things cost at Walmart.  I love being around crafts but would be a terrible associate at Joann's.
The last visit to Joann's it was so empty and nothing was where it used to be and couldn't find a LOT of basic sewing supplies.  Walmart doesn't have isles of fabric but when they say "less is more " that is as accurate as it can get.  They had fabric I've never seen at Joann's, like soft cotton Wonder Woman prints. Its was the WW symbol not the character but I found a few fat quarters of her. I've been wanting that tattoo for so long for 2 reasons: she stands for Truth,  Love and Justice.  And she's a lawyer.  I stand for was she stands for. But there was so much more and I will only go to Joann's for maybe 2-3 things.
Back to Walmart and not my aspirations in life,  we went to the Walmart near us last night and I could NOT find a bathing suit. One rack and it was bikini tops and no bottoms. I haven't worn a two piece since my early 20s and don't plan to go back to them even when I get in better shape.
To conclude this essay written in manic enthusiasm,  I love the Elkton Walmart.  There are associates that silently scream they hate their job, and I understand their pain. They stock all day or deal with people who stand in line on their phone having a very heated fight on speaker so the subject is clear and sometimes questionable if they do intend to murder the other party. I usually hear enough to just shout "We all can hear you! And that baseball bat is obviously not because you play, so take your terroristic threatening charges outside no one wants or cares about your unstable family! But I'm sorry about your dog,  Frank, I love boxers, I'm sorry for your loss. NOW HANG UP , TAKE YOUR BAT AND GET OVER YOURSELF!" That actually did happen a few years ago, I didn't make up any words I said.
Walmart is not a fun place to work, but somehow they manage to smile and help you if you can't find the power drills. Thank you for being the place I will drive far from my house just to get shopping done!

Bought a pair of men's black boots and socks for my Adopt A Family.

I love this store. Clean and very well stocked.

Went to Walmart to get some kick scooters. Decided to try a grand experiment and ride a trail instead of walking. We needed and actually found 3 kick scooters to our liking. Unfortunately, using the scooters was not as easy as it looked so we took them back. The staff made the problem go smoothly. Got lunch at McDonald's.
