Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

I don't know how people can rate this place poorly. The pot roast is outstanding! Reminds me of Mom's! Cooked for 14 hours, it just falls apart. The mashed potatoes are HOMEMADE and delicious. The salad bar is very good too. I also had skyline chili which was delicious, along with a side of hush puppies. Excellent. I tried the fried chicken and it was very good, as was the meatloaf. Sweet tea was so good. Don't be thrown because this place is located at a truck stop. I go here once a month for lunch and it's always on point. Servers are very nice too.

This is a super busy location, but the service is always great. The food is hot and good. The pot roast is nearly as good as what I make at home and the rolls are better. We’ve done breakfast and dinner here and both are good.

We went in on Thanksgiving. As a long time Golden Corral customer that has been to locations all over the Country I know how their Thanksgiving business can be. I thought this restaurant was great especially for its size. It is a smaller location because it's in a truck stop. But they still managed to have damn near as much selection as the bigger full size locations. The cashier was very friendly and hospitable, and the waitress was also very friendly, hospitable, and attentive to the Mrs and me. The only less than satisfactory part of my experience at this location was the meat cutter section. I could understand being overwhelmed at having to carve turkey, ham, and cook steaks for people all at the same time especially with the size of the crowd on Thanksgiving which is exactly what they were, overwhelmed. 2 young dudes that I'm sure had never had to deal with that big of a crowd before. But all in all I was pleased with my experience.

This was our 2nd time here. The first wasn't good, but thought they deserved a second chance. Everything was fresh, and good this time. Our waitress was great. Very friendly and service was excellent. Thank you for a job well done.

There was a ton of different kinds of food so no matter what you were in the mood for you could get it to eat, it was a nice place to get something to eat with your family and just enjoy eating different things.

Great! I truly miss having quality buffets in truck stops ever since the 'flu' came through they all seem to have closed. Not GC though! Everything was hot and fresh, huge selection of meats including bbq and baked chicken, beef pot roast, steaks, meat loaf, pasta, tacos, and some im sure i missed. Enough sides to have something different woth every protein too, plus a huge salad and desert bar. Wait staff was friendly and polite,

They also do a large breakfast buffet but i was not here for that so i cant comment further, but im sure it is just as good

I had a good time. Food was good. Our server was good. Only thing is I’ve been running back and forth to the bathroom since 3am 😒

The staff was very polite and happy to do what they do. Where I'm from Golden corral went bankrupt and shut down, so I have not been able to have this for years now. The fact that a buffet is open is wonderful and even more amazing that it is made into a truck stop eatery. Roping off the islands and going from wait staff to server is a great idea to keep it up and running, other buffets should consider taking after this example here. Wonderful establishment!

It's the food for me, variety and quality! Loved it. I took out this time but I have dined in and it was delicious.
It's a little hard to get good selections on carry out and they weigh it. But still worth the price of admission. 😆

I've been here maybe 4 times now over an extended period of time and so far no complaints. Most of the food is right on point, the waiting staff is great, definitely my go to spot to get a better dinner than what is usually available over the road. I'll be back 👌🏼

I went here with my mother for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The hospitality was great and the food was even better.

Very good night very clean and sanitary the lunch is cheaper than dinner with the food is always good

Stopped in the first time today and we both got the senior discount and we both had a wonderful breakfast. Pleasantly surprised! Worth the stop.

Love going to this buffet not only is it a halfway point among family members in several states it's also a truck stop food service n atmosphere all wonderful n ya never know who you might run into

It's the GC baby. It's perfect. The loving blend of deliciousness and regret is what you go for, and you're never let down. They say there are 7 Wonders of the World. I'm here to tell you that the ol' GC is at least 6 of em.

Everything was good. Should be able to get your own plates every other golden corral you can.

Waitress's were working their butts off. BUT they STILL took the time to speak to All guests and were professional. HIGHLY recommend this place for breakfast lunch or dinner

Never been here before but I'm planning to come here with my soon to be husband for our honeymoon this upcoming month we are extremely exited I can't wait to hang out there seems like a really beautiful buffet to hang out at!!!

My family and I have been to this location a few times since living in the general area. There were a couple of times that we were not very thrilled with the food or overall experience. However, today really changed our minds. Our server was extremely tentative and polite. Our drinks stayed full, and empty plates were promptly removed from our booths table. Historically, it seems we've only visited when the steaks were not being served, but today they were, and they were very well prepared. Typically, we find Golden Corral steaks to be 50/50 on taste and quality of preparation, but these were on point. The buffet was full, and the food was hot and fresh each time we went for a new plate. My hope is that this location would continue this good service and quality, which would make for a consistent and good experience for all guests. If I had to give any constructive criticism this trip, I would say that having had a packed house, it seemed the general egress to the buffet and back to the table was very tight and difficult to traverse due to the quantity of people coming and going. I would recommend expanding to allow for better egress throughout the resteraunt. Other than that, this was a great time. Thank you for the great job. It really helped change our perspective.
