Went to shop for a refrigerator/freezer. Didn't find one that fit spot where old one was. But needed dog and cat foods and pet supplies. Browsed bakery and bought several items. Result of walking through store purchased several other items. Result, I spent close to $325. All good products at good prices. Check out was fast. Also went to optical for new lenses but I need a new Rx so no purchase

Lowes is one-stop-shop for all house and business related items. From cleaning supplies to tools, appliances, flooring, Mill Works (doors/windows) for home or business. Most stores have a garden center which has pavers, plants, pool supplies, grass seeds, fertilizers and so much more.
The stores have knowledgeable staff in each department. Just ask customer service and they often put you in touch a specialist to answer your questions.
However, do give yourself time, make an appointment and do your own due diligence. Hold onto your paperwork and follow thru with questions. It’s a big place, lots of square footage and the company serves hundreds of customers, both in store and online.
You’ll get good service and a fair price.

Headline: The cashier went above and beyond to make sure I got the assistance I needed and turned what would have been an irritating experience into a pleasant one.

I came in to purchase a piece of lumber and have it cut so it would fit in my car. I purchased the lumber and the cashier immediately went on the intercom and requested assistance at the wood cutting station. I walked back there and waited awhile for someone to come, but I was reassured multiple times that I hadn't been forgotten because everytime the cashier saw me still waiting I could hear her announce on the intercom again that assistance was needed at the wood cutting station. The cashier even came over in person to assure me that she was doing everything she could to get someone over there. Eventually a Lowe's team member came over with the manager and cut the lumber for me. The manager handed me one piece of lumber and he offered to carry the other piece to my car since he could see my hands were full holding my child in one arm and the first piece of lumber in the other. The cashier went above and beyond to make sure I got the assistance I needed and turned what would have been an irritating experience into a pleasant one. Overall, great customer service here!

I haven't purchased from Lowe's in a while. Went there for some window well covers. An associate named Nate was very friendly and helpful. He directed me to the correct aisle for what I was looking for. The aisle was closed off temporarily for stocking (fork truck working aisle). The two associates stopped working long enough for me to safely retrieve what I came to purchase. Sharon at the cashier station was wonderful. She was both pleasant and friendly. Oh yeah, as a side note, I checked online, and Lowe's prices are very competitive, and their associates are the friendliest.

Placed a big order with a customer for pickup. I think Christine (the Filipina lady) helped us order the materials. This Lowe’s is truly lucky to have a worker like her, she spent time with my client to give her the best deal for materials towards my customer’s home.

I go to this store once a month

I can usually always find what I need and the employees are helpful

I don’t usually do reviews on big corporations

But I felt compelled today. I walked in this store and all of the employees were in a good mood, smiling, chatting, helping customers

Love to see good spirits in this day and age

I had a quick need for assistance with countertop templating and ordering. I was able to get in touch with Edd, who has 19 years of service with Lowes. Edd was phenomenal and kind. He even prepped paperwork ahead of time for me, as he knew I was running on a strict schedule. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I will use this store again for future needs.

This store is always clean and well maintained whenever I visit. Salespeople in each department are tremendously helpful and even assist with discounts and sales items. I’ve purchased appliances, fans, bathroom vanities, and doors. Had delivery to home and the store, and installation services. I have zero complaints and I am grateful to the employees for helping me upgrade my home. No complaints here.

You can buy all kinds of building materials and home improvement materials in lowes. Home appliances, holiday lights, garden facilities and materials, everything.

Edd in kithens was fabulous. He made the experience painless and was extremely knowledgeable.

Spent a little time there. Thanks to the employees I found things that the app gave the wrong location of. One young man even got me bag of quickrete. The young lady pleasantly cleaned off the flat cart when I asked. All employees were very helpful. The only thing wrong was that the cases of water had no price posted.

I made a return of First Alert Smoke Detectors today (8/18/2023) and Tam at the return desk at Ogletown Rd Lowes helped me with my return. I explained to Tam, as an older veteran with pain in my fingers I would not be able to use the detectors I ordered on line which required the batteries to be changed every six months. Tam was very understanding and made me feel very comfortable about my problem and restrictions. Lowes is very lucky to have her as an associate and team member. Her compassion, understanding and professionalism will be a great asset for her and Lowes in the future. Lowes Stores and Tam truly care about our Veterans!

I am a contractor and rely on my Good friends at the Newark, Delaware Lowe's Center for all my construction materials. The folks there always steer me to the best deals and products. A special shout-out to Kacy, Robin, Chris and Christine. Also, Joe who floats around the store where he's needed, and I have shared many personal tragedies and joys thru the years.
I'm 80 years old and still working at what I love. Lowe's is a wonderful part of my day.

Great prices and a fantastic selection. Makes improving your home for sale or general aesthetics or anything you might need for working and tools. It's all around great place for handyman work, housework, workshop stuff, and anything requiring hands-on fix-itry.

They take care of their lumber always stacked properly and always have carts inside of building

Fabulous customer service! I called to confirm that they had what I/we was/were looking for in stock. I spoke to Erica who walked over to the item (in a locked case) & confirmed that the item was in stock and said to ask for her when I/we arrived (I/we was/were heading over that day). It was close to closing, but Erica never rushed us. She took the time to explain how the item and add-ons worked and went above and beyond. I will shop at this Lowe’s for all of my home improvement needs based off of this fantastic experience. Customer service was top notch!!

Holy moley, best custimer service experience of my life. You need to seek out Danny from the electrical department if you want to make sure you're project gets done right and you have literally everything you need. Im old, can be difficult to deal with, and dont care if you feel any way about it. . So when I went in there Saturday, during the rush of memorial day weekend like and idiot, I fully expected to find some teenager who doesn't know what they're talking about. Nope, Danny was the first to approach. He thanked me for my son's service and helped me find everything I needed in the electrical area and instead of being done, he walked with me through the rest of the store to make sure I always found what I needed. He's a smart kid and asked the right questions. Even got a few extra things I ended up needing but didn't think I would! He made sure i was in and out quickly and All in all, I will absolutely make the drive up to Newark whenever I need supplies all because of this young man. Great job sir and thank you again for the amazing conversation I and insight!

This Lowes was a breath of fresh air. I was looking at some weed wackers & an associate name Derek ask me did I need help, he was patient and professional with me & he also had someone helping him help me which was amazing. Erin was assisting him in this process & was very helpful as well, patient with me & professional. Long behold they helped me find a weed wacker. They did a great job listening to my concerns and giving me options. Then at the register an associate name Chris helped me with the care plan for my equipment & explained to me how it works. He was also patient & professional with me. Then after I purchased the equipment I had some concerns with the faded ink on my receipt, that's when I was assisted by an associate named Erica . She was able to get me a better copy of my receipt so I can read the numbers on it to register my equipment for the care plan. Overall this was an awesome experience from the time I walked in this Lowes all the way up until the time I walked out. Thank you Derek, Erin, Chris & Erica for helping me, This weed wacker is amazing !
