7-Eleven

Today is March 14, 2022 7:20am. The coolest clerk I've seen at any store was working this morning. Treated everyone with the utmost respect. One guy came in with a skateboard and was a little disrespectful and the clerk tried to remain professional. But some people really feel entitled and feel as though they get to treat people however they want to. The clerk handled it perfectly and continued his morning. Gotta love that he even took the time to make my lady a fresh pot of coffee. That's customer service. Thanks Desmond..7-11 got a diamond in the rough..

I drop in here very frequently and know almost all of the staff (At least the night crew). Nancy is a cool lady. These guys put up with a LOT of stuff though. I've seen attempted beer-runs, very aggressive homeless people, belligerent drug addicts, cars crashing through the entrance, you name it. This ain't no La Jolla 7-Eleven. This here is PACIFIC BEACH 7-Eleven. For the godless wasteland that these people work in, they seem to have a really good handle on it. Seriously, the events I've seen transpire and be diffused by the staff warrant some kind of hazard pay or special recognition by the suits upstairs who never have to deal with what these guys do. I'm certain that if the stone-hardened warriors behind the counter weren't holding this insane joint down it would have been wiped off the face of the earth years ago. Throw these guys a bone, corporate. They deserve it.

I worked here i loved every minute of.it we always are hard working always clean and very eager to hear daily from the customers they tell us how they come in just to say hi or just because they know their needs get taken care of professionally and as well as friendly. The store is always clean and the stock is daily checked . The store is awesome 👌

The clerk here was very friendly and welcoming and did his best to give great customer service, helping my friend with the slushy machines.

The store was relatively visibly clean. But very cluttered and disorganized and hard to find stuff. It didn’t smell great either. Parking lot was run down and had some puddles of leaking fluid from somewhere.

Is 7-11 ever more than 3 stars?

I have been coming to this place as a customer twice a day ( every day ) buying pizza, skittles, bananas and boiled eggs on regular bases. Felt good about our relationship and thought I was a valuable customer. Until recently when I was told that the store wants to charge me a $1.00 per cup of ice even though I was bringing in my own cup to fill, essentially costing nothing to the store. I was told that if I want to get ice that they can sell me a bag of ice. I objected saying that I definitely don't need that much of it and felt that it wasn't the way to treat an everyday customer. 😕 I was then told that it was a managerial decision, and that I wasn't a valuable customer as I thought 🤨. In this case, I said, I am not coming back no more

The moment we walked in the store, the worker started watching my friends (two 14 year old girls) he wouldn't stop staring at them even when I asked him a question. They were looking at some ice cream but decided not to get it, they put it back and started walking towards me when the worker stopped them and accused them of stealing. They obviously hadn't and they didn't show any suspicious behavior.
He made the whole experience uncomfortable and made us feel very unwelcomed. I will never go there again just because of the slim chance he's working. I don't think he should work there and i think 7/11 should retrain their workers to not accuse inoccent people.

Sold me out of date milk. Took it home and it was sour as heck. Took the milk back and they refused to exchange or refund. I wont be shopping there any more. Suggest you do the same.
