Say what you want about the store as a whole but I’m going to leave a great review for the bakery. I was about to use another bakery in town to do my sons birthday cake but they wouldn’t do anything I asked, let alone a little color for his Scooby Doo Birthday theme. Last minute I thought I was settling by calling the local Manchester Shop Rite but I was so blown away by the great job the cake decorator did I started to tear up. She cared and went above and beyond. Thank you for making my sons day. And it tasted great too!

First of all, I love the self checkout, please never get rid of it. In regards to the deli, I avoid it like the plague because deli folk are always stressed and it's never fun. I do use the presliced deli and have been happy with it. May I suggest using order kiosks at the deli so you can place your deli order and then pick it up when you're ready to go.

Thanks so much for the new HUGE self service checkout area. No matter how busy, it's so easy to pay! Nice improvement!!

ShopRite of route 37 in toms River should take courtesy lessons from the store in Manchester. Even though they are now the same owners, there is a world of difference the way you are treated, the overall attitude of the cashiers , and the staff in general. It is amazing to see that the older crowd that staffs the Manchester store is really willing to help and be there to assist. It is so apparent that the young people hired at the route 37 location could care less. Since customers are responsible to bring bags, pay for their order and try to organize, most of the staff at route 37 stand there and wait for you to do everything yourself. Management of route 37 I should wake up. I really hope more competition will come to the immediate area, and take away some of their business. After living here for 10 years nothing has changed. Long live the perlmutter family who knew what customers mean for business. Saker has one objective in mind. More profit, less staff, and a true representation of what business is like today.

Then I stopped in for sale item groceries. ShopRite has prepared foods now to take home and pump it in the microwave and eat.

I think this is a very well-run store. There is a strong management presence, and the staff is also very good.

There is an excellent selection of delicious freshly prepared food.

I would say the overall selection is good given the size of the store.

The store can be very busy and cramped at times.

Drive carefully in the parking lot. At times, it is bedlam. I have seen a few accidents.

The trip is just a short distance from home and the parking is always convenient and this mall has to give as well as in the store. I think it is an excellent place for people like me. Happy Thanksgiving, bless you all...

Ronnie the cashier made our experience fun. She has a great sense of humor. The manager Tori was patient and kind to her cashier as well as us. The store was packed since Thanksgiving was approaching and it's Sunday and the shelves were well marked and every employee we asked for help was awesome. Great experience shopping here even when store packed! Plenty of parking, plenty of stock on clean shelves. Clean store. Plenty of shopping carts and the poor kid collecting them was very courteous!

It's always been a great place to grocery shop for me. Stocked, organized, friendly staff, clean. It's a decent sized store and the variety is perfect! They cater to both the senior, family, and younger population that makes up the area.

The only problem here is the parking. I'm disabled but usually have to walk a distance to the store. The store itself is always clean and bright. I usually have the store pick and ship my order on the day my check arrives. With the tip for the driver it's a little over $20. well worth it to me to avoid the job of parking, shopping, loading then unloading the car, carting it in and finally putting everything away.

Clean. Fully stocked. By far, best prices and sale in area. Can do without the My Pillow Guy pillows but overall my favorite store.

Very clean. They recently installed self-checkouts. Quite a few of them. Everything seems fresh.

I love. Your store it is always stocked well especially with sale items for that week. Also employees seem happy and are courteous . As I am disabled the last visit to your store I asked for help loading my groceries, e everyone was so eager to help! Very impressive. Keep up the good work!

I go there alot, and have never had any big problems. The way things are now, I ..think they have done a great job keeping things moving, and keeping the customers safe. Let's face it, there are always people you'll never satisfy, virus or not.

This store is crazy busy but the employees are professional helpful and patient. It's the customers that make it a less than awesome place.

I volunteer for Senior Shoppers so I am in a lot of different supermarkets. For the second time now I went to this Shop Rite and couldn't find something on my list from the bakery department and this same guy, I'm thinking maybe he's the bakery manager or something, went out of his way to help me. Very friendly, helpful and accomodating.

Was in the store earlier today and was able get what I needed (milk,bread,veggies,and of course ice cream). The employee who was handling the check out line did a great job. Everyone was polite and respectful Thanks to everyone & stay safe!
