The other day I had to refill my blood pressure meds and your phone lines were down so I had to drive there and the Pharmacist there. I think his name is Scott " bald Gentleman". told me my health coverage wants me to order through the mail and I told him I was completely out he was very sincere about the confusion and said there's nothing he can do so I walked out thinking that now I have so the mail order thing which I'm not crazy about but as I got in my car and started pulling away your Pharmacist knocked on my window said he figured out a way to help me. Just wanted to thank him and appreciate what some employees will do for their customers. Thanks and have a great day

The best Shop Rite in Ocean County. Well laid out, always good values and deals; staff are pleasant and the managers accommodating. Won't grocery shop anywhere else unless necessity arises.

8/23/23- they've redone the store and it honestly reminds me of what they looked like 10 years ago. Isles are much smaller. I hate that they got rid of the black carts that were bigger.... The store was very crowded and the shelves were stocked a bit but there was no produce. They did not have a single head of lettuce.. we were in and out quickly

7/16/22- Went and bought a visa gift card for my son. Once I got home my son tried to use it and it would not work I called to try and activate it, only to be told it has to be activated at the store I purchased it at. I wish I would have been told that when I bought it, now I have to bring my toddler out again to go back to a crazy crowded store to activate the card...

2/23/22- very well stocked 95% of the time. Clean and tidy store. Cashier's are kind and employees and helpful.

10/23/21- went to pick up a few things for dinner as well as a pumpkin pie. I was not happy when I saw what looks to be mold on EVERY pumpkin pie I picked up

Update- I had went back to the store and my cashier was a young man named Evan I believe. i also spoke with a manager, a blonde woman with glasses and let me say they were the sweetest people ever! Will definitely go back. Just wont ever use Brett as a cashier.

The store was very clean and very well organized. My cashier was a young man name Brett in the handicap check out. He was rude and had absolutely no customer service skills. He said nothing but have a good night. He did not help me bag a single item and continued to scan everything while my bread and chips got smashed. He huffed and puffed when he saw his line getting long and I was not moving fast enough for him. I will go back to the store only because it is right up the street from my new home, but if I see him I absolutely will not be in his line again.

I had Shop Rite cater a pre wedding celebration and I ordered cold sandwiches for the 2nd part of the party. The artisan sandwiches were on point and delicious. The 6ft Italian sub was delicious as well.

Very good selection of produce and meats. Clean store.

Everyone was so friendly here! A lot of associates asking me for help! The lady at the macaroni salad bar recommended the new summer chicken salad and it was so yummy! She was supper friendly!

getting better with stock have to put sugar free items back as there are a lot of diabetic people in toms river and they have to go elsewhere to get what they want. need more sugar free items and ice cream doing a little better8

Have quite a few products here that you cannot get at Stop 'n Shop on Rt 37. For whatever reason SnS die not carry them.
Also found the pricing a tad lower as well than SnS. Having shopped here since 1973, when the location was up the street, its always been a mainstay.

just wanted to leave a quick appreciation post for the staff working in the floral department. I had ordered 30+ balloons and they were all ready to go, neatly and safely packaged, at exactly the right time. they were all so friendly and so helpful!

Fresh, good prices. Good one.

Its a Good Shop Rite for the area. Always clean. Always staffed properly. Cheaper than Shop Rite on 37. Differrent owner too. Security is good. Employees are very helpful. Parking lot always full. YOU can be assured all products are fresh.

Update : new owners! New staff ! The store is much cleaner. However the Bakery Department what happened? Frozen Cherry Pie? Taste like rancid toxic. I like the new owners no more shoving quarters into baskets! Placed food where it makes sense . I now will go back to shop there. I haven’t been there due to staff and just dirty the front end Department Wow! Very customer Friendly, something it lacked in days of old owner. Pharmacy, well wasn’t happy w Angelo when old owners! He had sever attitude even though I used them for 15 years… My mom loved him . He just became a very bitter pharmacist. Now they don’t take my military for prescription. I’ll do mail order as long as I don’t have to deal w Angelo and that staff! I was shopping at Ft Dix . Now I’d shop there .

I'd like to give a shout out to Cole at the Customer Service desk. I needed help with something on my loyalty card and he was nice enough to set the whole thing up for me! It's those "acts of kindness" that keep customers loyal to your store. Thanks Cole, nice job!!

Very clean friend staff, fair priced and they have stuff others grocery store don't have or are always out of it. I shop here 90% of time.

This store is one that carries a large variety of whatever items it is that you were looking for. It's clean the produce and meat department along with the deli is fresh. The staff are genuinely friendly as I believe many have been there for many many years. They work together as a team and it trickles out to the customer service which I believe is excellent. They are always willing to help with whatever need you have.

Sale items are usually in stock as well as in abundance. Employees are always friendly and helpful. The staff keep the store immaculately clean. The parking and parking lot situation leave a bit to be desired (not the store's fault though, just a slightly small lot).

Its shoprite nothing special, place is clean and always stocked everytime I walk in, the only thing that is bad is the aisle and product is crammed so close that you feel like a sardine when you walk through the store. But in any situation shoprite has great pricing and is better stocked than anybody esle.. the aisles never have freight all over the place compared to there competitors who are always a mess and always short staffed..

Wonderful shop rite! Great people! Great conditions! Deli quick!
