MJ's Restaurant Bar And Grill

Food was very good! Burgers were cooked perfectly. The garlic parm wings were delicious. Our waiter, Tommy, was amazing! He was very attentive, and very helpful when we had questions. A+

What a fabulous view of the water! Very good food served in a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the fish and chips. Also had the shrimp wrap with homemade chips. Both were delicious! Our server Stacey was awesome!
Did I mention the view?!!! Can't wait to go back!

Second time coming here and the food is as good as last year if not better. Absolutely delicious and fresh seafood. Great pasta and nice selection of beers. This place is a must eat at. Definitely on our list as part of our shire trip

Waterfront restaurant. Exceptional staff. Breathtaking ocean/bay views. Outstanding food. Huge central bar with about a dozen TV's. A beautiful sushi bar. A second floor with wrap around view, spiral staircase, and available for special events. Love this place. It's a gem.

MJ’s has it all: great views, drool-worthy food😋, live music, and it’s even dog-friendly if you’re eating outside. It’s our go-to spot for an awesome time!

I had the lobster roll, and it was delish. Having lunch on the bay with a small private beach to step onto made it that much better. Live music all day adds to the atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere, great bar, happy staff and decent bar food. Worth regular visits, and locally owned and operated. No chain garbage here!

This was our first time here. We absolutely loved everything about this place. Our server Amber was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. The food was AMAZING. My fiance said his steak was the best one he's had in a while! Thanks MJs! Highly recommend.

This place was absolutely wonderful to come for lunch. You can sit by the water and have your feet in the sand at the same time. The outdoor seating area is awesome. We sat so close.

We went on a Thursday night in July and they had live music. The band was awesome, loved the songs they were playing, very nice atmosphere. We sat outside, towards the end so we could be father away from the band, otherwise it can be very loud and hard to hear. Their menu is very versatile, sushi was great and service was friendly and prompt. Would highly recommend. It’s can be great for a girl’s night, for a couple and even for a family because the outdoor tables are literally on the beach. Some people arrived by boat.

I went here to see The Jersey Shore Medium Linda Shields. She was AWESOME as always. The service from staff was exceptional!! They never stopped running for orders. Always smiling n had a smile even though they went up n down those miserable steps dozens of times! The food is always fresh n delicious when I've purchased. I enjoy visiting this establishment!

Went for the first time Saturday Night for dinner and drinks. Had a really great time! Wasn’t too crowded and there’s lots of space to move around. Also had a band playing. They had frozen Margaritas which was a huge plus. The Mango was awesome.

The food was pretty darn good. We started off with the Sweet and Spicy shrimp in a garlic sauce. Was phenomenal. We also had the Guacamole which was very good. 2 of us had their Famous steak sandwich which was a great choice. Another had a cheeseburger and one had a chicken dish. Everyone was happy with their food. Our serve was Ryan and she was great and very attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

I have lived up the road from this one for the past 4 months and didn't even know it was over here until my mom wanted to take me somewhere for my birthday the other day. I googled restaurants in the area, only knowing of a few, and when I saw MJs, I decided on that. I have eaten at other MJs locations before, the first time was after a friend's funeral that I had attended years ago. I always liked their food and atmosphere. Every location has their own added touch. I've gone to MJs for weddings before too... they are not a bad place at all! This location in particular, in Bayville, blew my mind!! I had no idea that they were located right on the water! They have their own little beach! We sat outside and enjoyed a really beautiful view. We had a few drinks with our delicious dinner, they even had a band! The entire experience between the atmosphere, the service, and the food quality, I give this place a 5 star rating!!!! 👏👏 I really enjoyed visiting this establishment for my birthday, and I will definitely come back here. The whole experience was 100% positive!

This place is awesome. They have great food and live outdoor music. Also, waterfront dining and private beach where you can sit and enjoy cocktails on the beautiful Barnegat Bay! Highly recommend.

10/15/23. Went for nfl Sunday. Had Hunter for out server. Hands down one of the best servers I have ever had. Better than me in my day.... and I was great! Great attitude, prompt with drinks and food, and an awesome attitude! Ty Hunter! Had bar apps!! Wings and thngs...Food was proportioned well and tasted good. Good bang for your buck! WHAT I ordered was good. Limited experience with menu. Service was outstanding! MJs great place for apps. DINNER TBD. See you soon. MjS and Hunter thank u again!
