I would like to thank Peter at the Lyndhurst location for providing top-notch service and support. Peter’s knowledge was simply amazing. He let me know all the important information regarding the product including its features. Peter was extremely patient in answering my barrage of questions. His technical knowledge instilled supreme confidence in my purchase decision. I will recommend Second Sole to everyone I know. Second Sole has a customer for life!!!!!

This is my first time going into this shoe store. When I went in there it was because I have developed a condition called plantar fasciitis. This requires a specific type of Footwear along with special inserts to treat the condition. As soon as I told my salesperson that this was the reason that I had come into the store he immediately knew what to do. He actually measured my foot! It's been years since any shoe store had done that rather than just guess at what size shoe would fit my foot. In addition, he was extremely knowledgeable about my foot condition to the extent that he was able to explain it to me even better than my doctor did. When I was looking to buy these shoes I shopped around in terms of price. To my surprise this store was also the least expensive! I would highly recommend that people check out this store if you're looking for people who actually know what they're talking about if you're going to spend some money on a good pair of shoes.

I had never been to a running store to talk to someone about what type of tennis shoes would be best for my feet. I walk daily on a treadmill and was getting ready to take a trip that I knew was going to involve a lot of walking. I needed new shoes, so I thought I would try Second Sole. Peter was so incredibly helpful and friendly. He measured my foot, asked me about any concerns I had and we tried a handful of different shoes based on his picks and what I thought of each one. The shoe that we ended up on is so comfortable, was amazing for my trip and has resulted in walks on my treadmill that are free of shin pain for the first time I can remember. I was planning to buy a pair of Hokas simply based on their popularity, but I’m so glad I didn’t, as I learned from talking with Peter that they probably wouldn’t have been the best fit for my foot. I would recommend this Second Sole location to anyone unsure of what shoe is right for them.

I walked into Second Sole a bit helpless, nursing an injury to my foot and led knowing I’d be running a half marathon in a few days.

Peter not only recommended the perfect shoes, he took time to listen to my concerns and make a suggestion based on his tenured experience and visual observations of the arches of my feet.

I cannot thank him enough as I was able to complete the half marathon in under 2 hours with the New Balances Peter hand selected. He rocks and deserves an extraordinary amount of praise.

Nice place and very professional. Got in and out and found the BEST shoes at the right size that I couldn't find at three other stores! They also do runs from the shope on Wednesdays.. call for jogging/run times!

I went in and spoke with Scott. He was excellent! He helped me find the correct shoe, taught me how to tie my shoe correctly and was so patient. I had an issue arise the following day and had to take the shoe back to the store. They were understanding and very pleasant.

I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new shoe. They are my new favorite shoe store!

I’ve had a hard time finding comfortable tennis shoes for a while. I found Second Sole of Lyndhurst on google and decided to give it a shot. Scott helped me find the most comfortable pair of tennis shoes I think I’ve ever worn. He explained why he picked certain shoes and answered all of my questions. I am so thankful to finally be in some comfy shoes! I’ll definitely go back when it’s time for my next pair. Thanks, Scott!!

I’m not a runner and have no experience with shoes. When newly diagnosed with arthritis and a bone spur I was shocked. My podiatrist recommended this store and they are truly incredible. I’ve been helped by multiple staff members. They are knowledgeable and so kind to me when It took a few pairs for me to find what was right for my pain/problem. Highly recommend!!

I went to Second Sole Lyndhurst on 5/30/22. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. As someone who is just beginning my running journey, they made me comfortable. Dylan helped me throughout the process of picking shoes, and I walked out with a pair of cool, comfy New Balances. I will be going here for all of my running needs!

This Second Sole location consistently offers excellent customer service. Just yesterday, myself, my brother, and my friend arrived at this location just 30 minutes before they closed, knowing that all three of us needed to purchase new running shoes (not our most considerate move lol). Emma was SO kind and helpful to all three of us! I was especially thankful for her help with my brother who has autism and likes to ask a lot of questions and seek plenty of assurance in the shoe purchasing process. Emma was incredibly patient with him, answering all his questions, giving him some options to try, all while giving me and my friend the help and advice we needed. We were there right until close, but the staff stayed cheery and happy to help. Thank you Emma and staff! We'll be back!

I am in the process of purchasing my first performance running shoe. I had a great experience at Second Sole. Scott was great and really helped me figure out what shoe would work for me. He was patient, knowledgeable, and honest. I look forward to purchasing from them soon!! If you're thinking about heading here, do it!!

Second Sole is amazing! We went here because I have a high instep, wide feet. So fun finding shoes. I had an issue where my ankles hurting when I walk, bad posture. Scott helped me find the perfect shoes. He know a lot about types of feet and issues that could arise with not finding the right pair. We did eventually find "that" pair that fits my feet perfectly.

I walked about 2.5 miles today and my ankles did not hurt at all. My friends told me my posture when walking is much more straighter. Best of all, I enjoy my new pair of shoes.

Peter is the Bomb! Asked us a few questions, looked at us walk, measured our feet and brought out the perfect shoe!!! For 2 of us! Best shoe on the 1st try! Better than any PT or podiatrist! Don’t go anywhere else for shoes.

They did a great job helping my 12 year old granddaughter find her first real pair of running shoes. That made her the 4th generation to buy running shoes there.

Second Sole is the best place to buy shoes. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The sales staff takes their time to make sure you have the proper fit and the shoe has the features that you are looking for.

Helpful staff and good inventory. Staff knows the difference between sprinter and distance runner spikes where another local running spot didn't.

The help here is EXCELLENT - my daughter has a very complicated foot and impossible to fit (has orthotics too). They are so patient and knowledgeable - only place to buy shoes IMO.
