Swensons Drive-In

A classic North East Ohio drive in. The galley boy never disappoints. This time I also tried the potato teezers which a little fried bites of potato, jalapeno, and cheese. The place is fairly inexpensive for what you get. Definitely a place to stop if you are in the area and like a good hamburger.

Brian and Lindsey were amazing! She came rite over to our car before we even were parked! Brian served us and was very kind! The mint whips were awsome! Thank you guys! Keep up the amazing work!!!

The food is pretty good but what was even better was the service. This young man named Rondae was very charismatic and greeted me with a smile. He was always willing to accommodate and help me through my order. I hope to see him again next time I come here. Wish him all the best!

Went to Swenson’s for the first time tonight and they didn’t disappoint.! The service was fantastic and quick. Jay, who took our order, was very kind and came out the second he saw us pulling in. Our food came out in a timely manner and tasted great. Will definitely come back in the future.

I have been to this stand multiple times & love it each & every time! Dan & Nicole are my favorite staff- they are always professional, kind & have a great sense of humor! They are always on the move, running to the next car! Plus they are always friendly with my dogs 🐾💕

I have to tell you I was just in to your University Hts location. My server was named Jay. He was really good and recommended some items when we got stuck on deciding what we wanted to eat. He was right! The Florida is really good. He was quick to the car and was quick with our order. Thanks, Jay!

If you're from the area, you probably already know about Swensons. If not though, and you visit the area, stop at Swenson's! It's a drive in restaurant with curbside dining. Their homemade milkshakes are so delicious you will not be disappointed. They are worth the extra calories, if you're counting. Especially for just a small one. ;) All of the food is good here, but I prefer the stuff that you can't get in most restaurants. Hence, today I ordered the fried bologna sandwich. It takes me back to my childhood every time. It's a delicacy I rarely get these days. The potato teezers are delicious and the shake of the day for me is another lifelong favorite, cherry! Why don't more places have cherry shakes? So good! If you are looking for quality food and a very reasonable price, Swenson's is the place. I also had the vegetable beef soup today and it was fabulous!

I so wish that we had Swenson’s in North Carolina. Every time we are in Cleveland it is a must. I agree with Forbes on claiming this as the best burger, at least in the realm of fast food burgers I would say so. The burger is incredibly flavorful. I think it’s a combination of the sauce and coleslaw that makes it so good. Fried mushrooms are bangin. Service is fast and friendly. No complaints whatsoever.

Lucas was a great server, very quick on his feet! It was like he was a flying saucer! He represents what Swenson’s is all about… customer service.

Food was great but this review is based on the staff…. We drove in from Buffalo NY to visit our son at JCU and stopped at swensons for lunch. We didn’t realize we made the 3 hour drive WITHOUT our key fob ( when I say we I mean my HUSBAND!!) I told the staff what happened and they offered to give us free milkshakes which was very nice( I declined) we ordered our food and they gave us 10% off for our troubles. I let them know as we were leaving we would be leaving our car there until we were able to move it. Again super accommodating and kind. One of the employees ( Nicole) was leaving as we were about to walk the mile to campus and offered us a ride which we graciously accepted- it was freezing! I can’t say enough about the kindness of the employees. We’ll be back for sure!! Go JCU go Baldwin Wallace! Dawn Hassen

Oh my gosh! We were visiting Columbus from Tennessee and my sister looked this place up for us to go. We didn't know what to expect and there was this cute kid with curly black hair that looked like Timothy Chalamet, out there directing us in.

He went over the menu and gave us recommendations on what to order. He was running everywhere and going 90 to nothing getting all the orders and still being awesome with us. I wish I could remember his name.

The food was absolutely amazing. Things on it like BBQ and tarter sauce, but it was actually delicious. I'm going to go ahead and say best burger even though I always thought Ohios best burgers were Kewpee. I think Swensons beat them, or maybe it was the well mannered Timmy Chalamet kid that waited on us. Lol

We are coming back in May for my husband to have another procedure and we are going back. I hope the kid that looked like Timothy with manners like Wally Cleaver is there again.

My server, Jay, was outstanding! His personality and smile are contagious! He realized I wanted onion rings, but the ones at Swenson's are breaded not battered, so I was passing bc the breaded hurt my mouth to eat (I know, big baby) but he told me I could get them “broken” and then not cut my mouth! They were absolutely delicious! Jay is a HUGE asset to your company! Keep up the good work, Jay!

Emily and the 2 other gentlemen servers were amazing. I appreciate their care and courtesy to our needs along with their manger! Thanks everyone!

Ron-Dae’ provided me and my family with GREAT service. The food was fresh and hot and we barely had to even wait. I would come again and recommend everyone to ask for Ron-Dae’!!!

I have great experiences when dining here, My two favorite servers are Tahir and Eric they have great knowledge about the food and have a smile on their faces everytime . They always make me smile and the food is always Good and Hot .

I went here as there is none in NY. It is drive-in only. There is no dinning table. You order from your car and they will give it to you. Although the burger is not as big comparing other fast food burger places. It tastes good. I had a Sloppy Joe, Potato Teezers, Fried Mushrooms & Fried Zucchini. They are great excep the Zucchini, I felt the zucchini a little bit too thin. They are not that expensive at all.

First experience at Swenson’s and it was amazing! Jay was friendly, kind, and attentive.

Food was hot, quick, and delish! Will be back. 👍👍

Eat in your car or take out. Best burger around. Reminds me of my Uncle Walter's hamburgers. Takes me to my happy place.

The drive up service was fast, and the food was simply delicious. The double cheeseburger🍔 with chili was the 💣. And the fries, ate them with no ketchup, really flavorful, didn't need any. I've been visiting Cleveland for years and how did I miss this Gem💎
