The Wine Warehouse has some great bottles from different regions all around the world that you normally can't get a hold of (especially at a grocery store). The pricing for a lot of their surplus isn't bad either. Definitely a fun experience to visit and learn about their stock and THEY ALSO HAVE BEER FROM other brewers

A hidden gem worth seeking out. Although it may be slightly challenging to find, the effort is well-rewarded. This store boasts an extensive collection of wines, meticulously organized by country, allowing wine enthusiasts to explore a diverse range of flavors and styles. Additionally, they offer an impressive selection of craft beers and ciders for those with varied tastes, local ones too. One standout feature is the inclusion of narrative descriptions for each box of wine, adding a personal touch and helping buyers make informed choices.

From the outside, Wine Warehouse looks unassuming, almost forgettable - do not be fooled! Inside you'll find wines, beers and ports with a selection and quality enough to satisfy every palate and every budget, with plenty of the familiar as well as unexpected niche wines that will become favourites. We were lucky enough to drop by while TC was working and benefit from his extensive knowledge, which led us to some impressive Spanish wines we might have overlooked otherwise. Whether for your own beverage needs or a party pleaser, Wine Warehouse is where you want to go!

Went in looking for a special bottle of Port that I couldn’t find in any of the local discount stores. This is a dessert wine my dad loved and now that he is gone, I wanted a bottle on hand in remembrance. TC promised to track it down and he did. Got a call within hours of my store visit!

Large selection, great prices and particularly helpful staff--TC's restaurant background meant he could describe wines that would pair well with our planned meal in a way anyone could understand. Especially helpful if you're someone who gets overwhelmed by having too much choice!

My favorite place for wine and beer in Cville. Incredibly knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help you choose the right wine, without being pretentious or condescending. I know nothing about wine, and have given the staff vague indications of what I like and they've provided me with really enjoyable recommendations. The beer selection is among the best in town, especially if you're into Belgian beers.

Matt and CT and wine warehouse crew are always so cordial and knowledgeable -about beer and wine ( craft beer is my thing)guided me right to a Moscato Asti (when I said sweet wine is what my wife wanted ) the best spot in town to stock your beer fridge or wine rack !

Wine Warehouse is a gem of Charlottesville. They have an incredible selection of wine from all over the world, at great prices, with friendly and knowledgeable staff to help me find wines that I love. In addition to the wine, they have an excellent and diverse selection of beers. I love good sour beers and through Wine Warehouse have discovered some new favorites.

Excellent customer service. I had a list of specific types of wines I needed for a wine tasting class. They found all of them immediately and I was on my way in mere minutes. Everything was well organized and prices were good!

Best place to grab exclusive craft beer. Get on the mailing list to get updated of new releases. Only place in Cville I can get Commonwealth Brewery. Definitely a place to go check out. Plus they have a huge selection of wine. If that's your style.

Not just wine, they have a great beer selection too! We actually bought all of the beer for our wedding here, and the staff was incredibly helpful. They helped get all of our specific selections, held onto it until we were ready to pick it up, and accepted returns on most of the leftovers.

If you’re looking to buy some wine or beer, this is definitely the place to go in Charlottesville. Although it’s called Wine Warehouse, they have an excellent beer, cider and mead selection as well. Get on their mailing list and they’ll let you know about special beers they get in.

If you are looking for the insiders place to buy fine wine and craft beer in Cville check these guys out. I was looking for a few bottles of wine for a dinner party and decided to drop in. Was I surprised.
The selection is unmatched and they care about what they sell. The entire store is kept cold inside to preserve the integrity of the wine and beer...and they will not be undersold in that they will match all VA prices including The "Clubs." They have their own parking lot which made my shopping fast and easy.

Phenomenal selection of non-grocery store wines. This is a wine lovers paradise, with great service from TC!

Good sized collection and very friendly staff

Small space, but quite the extensive high calibre collection of wine and beer. Note: they do not have a refrigerated section. The staff are all quite knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect for those niche hard to find items.
