BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

Last night, my wife and I along with two friends, had dinner at BJ's, in Charlottesville, VA. Dinner offered a special venue - Irish ales along with a five course meal. From start to finish, the evening was spectacular. Every course, from the wedge salad to the Jambalaya main, was exceptional. A nice variety of ales were provided which very nicely complemented our meal. Service was extraordinary. Our server, Alexis, was attentive, very knowledgeable about the ales, and was genuinely concerned that we had a wonderful experience. Manager, Manny, and assistant manager, Bobbie, personally greeted us and made several table visits during the affair to make sure our needs were being met. All-in-all, everyone had a terrific time! One thing is for sure - we will be at BJ's beer pairing dinners in the future!

We dined at Bjs last night for my son n laws birthday. At first I did not think we were going to get a table in a timely manner but to my surprise we were seated pretty quickly. The waiter we had, John had a full load of tables across the restaurant, but agreed to take our table on. He was amazing. I cannot say enough about his personality and promptness even though he was slammed. I appreciate the hostess also that was keeping the flow of seating going. Great food and we cannot say enough about John.

This was my 1st visit and I usually don't rate any place on 1 visit. However when we arrived we were seated and after about 15 minutes of being ignored I was about to leave when a waiter came over and said he noticed we hadn't been helped and it wasn't his section but he would be glad to take care of us. He took our order and didn't write anything down at all and it was a good amount of food. Everything came just as we ordered and the food was excellent. Everything we ordered was very good, and the waiter was great at his job as well.

I Love BJ's Brewhouse. This ones is just as good as all the others. The Apps are awesome , the draft beers are so good, Burgers are really good with many options. I have had almost everything on the menu over the past year including all the beers. I had not tried the spaghetti and meatballs so I tried it today it wasn't too bad.

If you want GREAT food… BJ’s is a MUST!! The pork chop is phenomenal, juicy and the perfect blend of flavor. Hubby got the ribs.They are so tender and not too much sauce. John C service was amazing and so helpful when we asked about how the pork chop was cooked.
100% EXCELLENT ALL THE WAY AROUND.

Lisa was our server. She's awesome! We came with a big group and she got all the orders to us super quick. Often checked in with us.

The food was great too! Will definitely come back!

I’ve come here the past two night to do my homework. The first night I had Shay. She was super sweet and great to talk to. Tonight I had Rosie. She’s always been an excellent server and bartender. She definitely exceeds expectations and should be the one you ask for when you visit!

The filet mignon was perfectly medium rare, flavorful and melt in your mouth. The grilled vegetables were delicious. The only thing was I ordered the fries not knowing that they coated in wheat. They supplied a baked potato instead. Would come back anytime I am in Virginia.

We always drive the extra 1.10 hour drive for our nearest BJ'S for the favorites we know and love but the staff really makes it special. General Manager Emmanuel was awesome super helpful, professional, and accommodating. Everytime we go to this location the staff is very friendly and genuinely pleasant, which is really nice considering how hectic restaurant life has become especially the last few years. Whatever they are doing here works. The leadership down to the host and bussers, everyone is working hard but also seem to be very friendly and easy to approach. I wish this location was closer to us because we would go weekly based on just the outstanding customer service alone. The food is always super fresh, hot, and correct 100% of the time. Thank you and kudos to the Charlottesville BJ's team, they are doing an amazing job and it doesn't go unnoticed!

This was our first visit to BJ'S Restaurant. The food was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. The service was off. We had to wait for our server several times. The restaurant was empty, but our server wS nowhere to be found. We had to ask about any specials. I'm not sure if we will be back.

This was such an amazing experience. I inhaled my burger and fries, my friends devoured their salads, and we destroyed the 3 pazookies!! Our server Katy was PHENOMENAL and so sweet! She gave us great recommendations and made sure to check in on us frequently! I highly recommend her service and the great food! It was a great experience. Thank you Katy!! I hope you get to see the Barbie movie soon!

Loved the tacos and egg rolls! The menu is massive making it hard to choose. I had mahi mahi fish and they were amazing! My friend had cauliflower something tacos. I didn't try it but she ate it. It looked a little too healthy for my appetite. The egg rolls though were killer! I'm definitely getting them next time!

Our first time there and we’re very pleased from the moment we sat down. Waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. We will go back next time we are in the Charlottesville area

Excellent customer service by our waitress. We had some menu questions which she addressed. I also didn't know their house side salad came with parmesan cheese on it , I'm allergic. She quickly identified and took care of the salad for me. Great atmosphere, excellent food, dessert was so frickin good, and our waitress did awesome! Shout out also to the lady who greeted us, sat us, and had great parting conversation with too, thank you! Although we're from out of town, trust me, we'll be back visiting BJ's in Charlottesville Virginia.

Nicely decorated restaurant and brewery with good food, nice staff and best of all they also had hard cider on their beer menu.

Have dined in multiple times now and had great experiences each time. Definitely try the one of the root beer or cream soda. They come in frosted mugs and are spectacular. Really great options to choose from on the menu which works well for our family. Both the pepperoni pizza as an app and the deep dish pizza are always good; love the 5 meat. Steak is always on point. Come on a weekend for the prime rib if you can. And of course the pizookies are the best dessert in town. We're working our way through all of them since there's like a dozen different kinds. Can't go wrong with triple chocolate or salted caramel though! I believe they are under new management as of 2023, so a lot of improvement going on right now and it shows.

It was a WONDERFUL experience! I'm ashamed it took me so long to try this establishment! All boxes checked!-

Really good and friendly service, and an excellent selection of beers. The food was good, and came out pretty quickly too! I enjoyed the atmosphere. I had the rib-eye and it was cooked exactly as I ordered it, and the seasoning was delicious. I would eat here again.

The food was FANTASTIC! I got the shrimp scampi and it was great. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and it all tasted so nicely in the sauce. I also ordered the lavender lemonade, which was fantastic alone. The waitress was super kind and the food came out fast and hot. I will definitely be back, possibly just for the great lemonade.
