This place is loaded with all kind of tackle and bait ,and the knowledge thus guys have keep me coming back .I'm 54 years old and I'm just learning how to fish and I ask these guys everything and they have no problem helping me.

Picked up some surf fishing supplies. They also have ice. The staff was pleasant and provided a surf conditions update along with what people have been catching. I bought a container of clams as bait. Drop in and show them some love!

Nice bait shop. Well stocked , opens early in day for all your fishing supplies. Dennis very knowledgeable and helpful guy . I go there regularly.

A natural wonder of the area and only place to go for your supplies. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can talk to them and relate. A great selection of all your needs for salt and fresh water too. The best store can't be beat.

Best bait shop down the shore near seaside, hands down. We stay in ortley Beach often at a family house and I will drive off the island and across the causeway just to go to Hook House. The prices are a fraction of what you would pay at grumpy's and the quality is the same or better. Gigantic selection of lures and tackle and rods and everything you would need including accessories for trucks and cars and coolers for a great day out on the beach surf fishing. The staff is very helpful and extremely willing to help you get the best of your trip. Bates such as bunker and clam is reasonably priced, making this place a staple for fishing down the shore.

Wow , what a place ! These guys are top-notch. They have great prices but their knowledge is even better. I moved to Toms River area and was blessed with being so close to the water, amd with the ability to fish and crab. Today my little guy and I went crabbing and pulled in about 3 dozen nice 5inch male blue claws. Go here if its fishing related, bait , or need advice they have it All !!!

Picked up some bait today and a few extra lures. The staff recommended another type of top water lure I never saw. I'm grateful for that type of service! Fully stocked store and knowledgeable staff. 5 star all the way!

He has everything you could possibly need and at a very good price. I highly recommend Hook House.

Stopped here for the first time yesterday morning. Even at 4am, the worker was very personable and helpful. Awesome shop that has everything you need. Will definitely be my go to from now on, on my way to the island. Check it out, you wont be disappointed

Awesome people here! Very knowledgeable and patient! Called up 5 min before they closed and told them I was right down the road needed bait, and a rod rack when I got there I was greeted with a smile. Helped me get what I needed and I didn't feel rushed at all. Thanks guys!

Nice little bait and tackle shop on rte.37 in Toms River... Mario was very helpful to a mom and her kids in front of me with their questions about going surf fishing for the 1st time.... and i love the fact he even saved them money with his ideas... we need more people and stores like Hook House

If you're on your way out to ibsp or seaside to fish, hook house should be your first place to get the essentials and you get the scoop on what's running and all the information you need to get on the fish.
