Gelson's Valley Village/NoHo

This is a fun place to work! I built a great dinner from the salad bar and then enjoyed a wine flight and then this glass. Such a creative idea for a bar. Super clean and the bartender Cindy was a doll. I’ll be back!

I found all the items I was shopping for. The produce was beautiful and fresh. I did have to ask for help finding something for a recipe that I was making, and a young man helped me locate it quickly.

Pretty good market. Has the stuff I need at decent prices. I have serious problems with the prices of their produce though. However despite that, they have some of the best fresh produce around and some things I havent seen anywhere else. They got some pretty great ready made meals options likes salads, soups, indian dishes, sandwiches and even burgers crabcakes and pizza! All freshly prepared in their kitchen right in front of you. Literally you can watch them make and prepare food and package it.

Well stocked products, Manager George is always kind and helpful. Not a fan of the new Self check out installation, let’s go back to check stands please!

Very good supermarket, especially for fresh food that’s not GMO. Lots of organic and nutritious options available. The only thing is that the cherries were $43 for 1 bag so thats about $15 per pound. Otherwise, this supermarket is clean & organized making it easy to navigate. Thank you Gelson's!

Great deli counter for prepared foods. Also has a victor benis bakery on the premises for the best baked goods. Spago pizza on site also.

Kudos to Frankie and Kim in the floral department! With very little time to spare, they created these beautiful arrangements which made our holiday extra special. Thank you Gelson's for always coming through for us.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Great organization great quality and the absolute best fruit. The bathrooms were clean. They have lots of good quality healthy food and meat. Their bakery was also great.

I LOVE that this store has security gaurds. I only shop at this store for many reasons but a big factor is safety. The parking lot is well lit and there are security gaurds. As a single mom with 2 small children this is very important to me.

Gelson's always has helpful and friendly staff. I found everything I was looking for and quickly. The produce is displayed nicely and seems to be better quality than at other grocery stores. I love the deli selections, especially items made with seasonal hatch chilis. YUM!

Frankly, I don't do too much shopping there as I find the typical grocery choices somewhat limited and the prices higher than others. But I have to say their produce are very good. And their deli food and baked goods are delectable. They also have a nice Wolfgang Puck corner that offers pizza slices and others.

Someone always asks if I need help finding something and checkout is always so pleasant. This location is bright and clean and friendly.

My personal interaction with the cashier, was a great experience.. Always helpful and kind. Great store, even better staff.

Everything is always organized and clean here. Parking lot can get dicey w homeless people, but theyre not usually near the entrance. Just stay alert, per usual.

Gelson's is at the apex of luxury grocery shopping. There can be no question: there is Gelson's, and then there is everybody else. Shop here, or shop everywhere else.
Gelsons = the best food money can buy. Four cartwheels. Five stars.

The ladies at checkout were friendly and fun to talk to. One even offered me a great recipe.
