Good selection of international foods, they had all the flavors of Jarritos unlike the other Jons locations, they had a wide variety of Milkaa Chocolate bars aswell. The Lime Jarritos and Oreo Milka Bars are making their way to my carry-on and back to Iowa.

Well, I've written about Jons International Marketplace before. I gave it four stars because I only knew what I had heard from others. They said it was just an average market in a big building. Well, I am here to tell you that those people were wrong.

When I enter the store, there is an obvious difference as compared to other stores. This may sound racist, and perhaps it is. The clientele is not predominantly English speaking. They are Middle Eastern and speak a number of foreign tongues: Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Greek, Turkish, Romanian, Armenian, etc. So the staff, while they all speak perfect English, speak many other languages as well, and if this associate doesn't speak Russian, then that one will.

Jons International Marketplace is accurately named. It is an international market.

The food they offer is different, too. Where else can you buy Persian cucumbers, Proshyan Armenian eggplant spread, Karoun string cheese, Oikos Greek yogurt, Zergut Polish pickles, Yamato Japanese whiskey, Calidad Mexican tortilla chips, and on and on?

I defy you to name the place with as varied a selection. You can not.

The clincher for me is the meat department. Most places just make the most common cuts available; if you want a special piece, you're out of luck. Not so at Jons. The butcher is a real, well-trained butcher and is standing by at all times. Me? I like a fresh Ribeye steak, I like it very thick (3+ inches), and I like it broiled over an open fire. The first time we met, I told the butcher this. Not only did he cut and trim a Tomahawk Ribeye for me like you've only seen on cooking shows, but he pointed down the aisle towards the charcoal grills (on sale!) with a big smile. "Good grilling," he said, and believe me, it truly was. He made me a genius for $7.99 a pound.

Now, when I go to the meat department, a funny thing has happened. The select area has no fewer than 6 well-crafted steaks already there. Not always Ribeyes, I grant you, but who doesn't like a bit of variety? Now, I am considered a Master of the Grill. The butcher didn't treat me like a customer, but like a member of the family. Not many average markets make you feel so welcome.

Jons International Marketplace. 5 stars. Just look around, and you'll see why.

This is my go to neighborhood market and not just because it's close by. The staff here is exceptionally nice and attentive, the meat selection is great and they have international food from Europe and other parts of the world. The deli is superb and the alcohol aisle offers a unique blend of popular items and traditional european spirits

Jons International Marketplace is a good place for foreign foods. The butcher is there, ready to cut meat to your needs, at no extra charge.

I like my steaks very thick. They know this about me and generally have some pre-cut to 2 inches thick. That familiarity makes me feel at home. They generally have good prices.

Also, Jon's has a very eclectic deli section. It also sells chocolate ice cream by the gallon - the way that I like it. Yes, I said it. Once you say it, you can't take it back.

Good produce, good deli, good Balkan & middle eastern food. Excellent yogurt.

Besides fresh and different food and produce from Armenia, Russia and other countries, Jones has very nice looking home flowers. Look at those flowers. They look awesome and are very affordable.

Love this location on Magnolia and Laurel Canyon. As any other Armenian store they did not have Lavash bread. It is amazing.

This time, everything went smooth. The item I was looking for was available. The employee I worked with was very nice and helpful.

Great international store with a ton of unique and hard to find groceries. Most of the products are pricey but well worth it. Employees are friendly, store is clean.

Their prices r high 4 condiments, crackers, cheeses just 4get it! By the way their salads are very expensive.. On the other hand, they have just started stocking up on organic produce, and some of it is really well priced, like organic beets and celery, cheaper then Trader Joe's, & especially, Gelson's.

If you want the international food all over the world this place is best in the city...

Wonderful store. It's my go to store for produce. They now have some self checkout lanes and superior help from staff. Jessica helped me today. She was bright, super friendly and very knowledgeable. I got my produce: four colors of bell peppers, zucchini, fresh spinach, fresh carrots, organic broccolini, Persian cucumber and green onion. Plus a small pot for sauces.

I like their selection of different international products. They also have a good Deserts section with tasty international delights. You don't find many locations for this grocery store not like 7 eleven where it's on almost every corner... very good location with a good selection of items.

Stopped in because a friend suggested I go here to purchase cardamom. I also picked up some herbs from the super produce section, asked a meat department employee a question, and visited the deli. The staff members were friendly and efficient. What's more, I asked the opinion of a shopper about some Russian cookies. She said they'd be good but there's another she prefers. She found and brought her favorite to me when i was at the checkout stand after I'd settled on the other. So nice. I bought BOTH.

Jons international marketplace has a plethora of products from around the world for different cultures and ethnicities. A service deli, bakery department,meat department, and a very nice produce department with very reasonable prices and convenient locations throughout the Los Angeles area.

Love their big deli selection which is reasonably priced, they have good produce and sales on meats. The only issue I have is that there is always a long line and wait to be serviced at the deli. Which I can't really blame on them. There is usually four employees manning the counter. It's just that the deli counter there is so popular.

Great place for french bread...fresh off the oven a few times a day! My favorite...with ham and cheese...
The only issue I have had with this store is their changing policy towards my dog! Whether I can bring her in or not...one manager says as long as you carry her or put her in the cart! The other days just carry...no cart! So basically as long as my dog is quite no issues..but I ce she starts barking at folks that frown at her...which she knows...specially if they are wearing hats and hate her immensely! I have to start carrying her...other than that great store....awesome people working there...customers not as much from time to time...but very helpful and great service...did I mention the French bread is awesome!
