Great store with everything. Like a Walmart supercenter. Prices are better than local Safeways. Clean with wide aisles. Nice shopping experience

I have never been in any grocery chain store where everyone was so helpful. Even other customers seemed pleased to help out a visitor to this state. Wonderful shopping experience.

Stocked grocery store with a wide selection of items and at expected prices. Self checkout was quick and easy.

Exceptional selection of foods. Great organic selections as well as pré-made and bakery goods. Feels like a Whole Foods with similar prices. Excellent grocery selection!!

Best to go when they open or before closing to avoid crowds & long checkout lines.

WEST is the one by the Airport. It’s on Airport Way. This is the WEST location. Closes at 11pm, yet does extended hours during Holidays. Everything you need and more might be here. Get a rewards program, my 99 grocery ring up went down to 80 right in front of my eyes. Main door (middle) access only after 9pm.

Freds Airport way store is doing a reset, and moving the food products around. You will need to relearn where things are. Store was not too busy for a Wednesday afternoon. All was good.

I just had to share my experience— Sarah (I think she’s in the grocery department) is such a kind soul! She is always so friendly to my baby and such a sweet person to talk to. She just has a glow about her that many workers (understandably! Don’t seem to have. You folks at Kroger better be paying her right! She’s a great employee to have

The only Supermarket that I found Bugles Nacho. Every other supermarket sell other flavors but not Nacho.

Great selection of products and store is always clean. Their Boarshead sandwiches are made in house and are great. Dessert area is great too. The prices are higher but some selections is worth it. Even the Krogers brand selections taste great.

Always easy to find stuff that I need in a timely manner and I never have to wait in line for the self check-out, which I prefer. The staff are very helpful and responsive to whatever you may need. I constantly get coupons in the mail from Fred's for things like free bags of cheese, really good discounts on meat and seafood, and even great coupons for dog treats and food. This has always been my grocery store of choice and it definitely won't be changing any time soon. If you want a place you can shop, talk to really nice people, and just generally have an easy grocery run, just come to the Fred Meyer's on Airport!

I came to Fairbanks to visit daughter and family. We went shopping the day after arriving. I've never been to a Fred Meyer store. I was looking for non-organic kale but didn't see any. The staff member I asked was Nearby , Alice, who assisted by calling warehouse staff. They said a shipment just came in and it would be a short bit of time. We continued shopping and after about 15 minutes Alice found m to explain the store's policy (can't find your product? They'll make it right) so she explained to inform the clerk my organic kale would be at non-organic price. We continued to shop. Again after time Alice found me again to give me a sticker with the pricing for the clerk (they didn't have stickers earlier. Amazing customer support. Incredibly impressed.

You already know--this is the best grocery store in town. Great app, free pick up (I hate going in), and great gas prices... even better than Costco if you do the rewards program. Pharmacy can have long lines but that's okay.

Always a pleasure to shop at this store regardless of how busy they are. Shelves are always blocked, faced and organized. Great selection of items although typically priced higher than competitors. If their slew of monthly discount and card benefits and coupons are used properly it will greatly reduce your grocery costs!

This is my preferred store in all of Fairbanks. Items are rarely out of stock and they carry a great deal. The staff is usually willing to go above and beyond with great customer service and cheerfulness. Their return policy is painless. Their customer service department is good. Their pharmacy is good, though you usually have to wait about 20 minutes, but if you call in your prescription or ask for it before you shop, there is no problem. The produce is good quality. The meat department has a good selection and will even custom cut meat for you. All in all, a great shopping experience.

This store is so big with tons of wonderful things to buy.

When you shop Fred’s West, You are always treated like family. A full grocery, bakery, meat and seafood and organic nutrition section. They have a nice selection of vegan options to choose from in both nutrition section and bakery. Floral has amazing beautiful arrangements to brighten any day. Home department has a nice selection of cookware, bakeware furniture and household goods. Electronics has a great selection of gaming systems and tv’s to choose from, their dvd selection is pretty good!! In Home department, I love their towels and cookware choices. Just about everything but the kitchen sink. The apparel department selection is great as well. Men’s Carhartt selection is awesome. Activewear for Men, Women and kids clothing choices are great. Shoe department has shoes for the entire family. So many socks to choose from, associates are all genuinely friendly and helpful at finding what you are looking for, the cosmetic’s section is amazing. With many choices of fragrances and cosmetics to choose from you will not be disappointed shopping West Fred Meyer, family friendly shopping!!

Never been in one of these stores until today. My wife and I were extremely
impressed. This store is definitely one stop shopping. All the food assortment is unbelievable, not to mention cleaning supplies, a full array of clothing kids, adults, mens, women's, and children's. The people, and see staff were excellent.
