The Banks Alehouse

Solid dining experience. The service was fast and friendly, the food was good. One of the better meals we had during our trip visiting Fairbanks. Not my favorite place but would visit again!

My husband, my in-laws, and I ate here a couple weeks back. Holy cow it was delicious! We hat the gouda cheese sticks and fried cheese curds for apps. I had the salmon bowl for my meal. My father-in-law had a burger, which he thought was cooked to perfection. My husband and mother-in-law shared a pepperoni pizza. After tasting that pizza, I wanted to eat that instead of my bowl! Not that my bowl was bad, it was really yummy! But that pizza was perfect! From the crunchy (but not too crunchy) crust to the not-too-tangy or over-poured pizza sauce, to the perfect amount of cheese, to those epic, magical crisp pepperonis. Lawdy. I didn’t wanna leave. We loved our meal here. And the drinks were so good they disappeared fast! I had a couple of the specialty mimosas. My mother-in-law had some blue coconutty concoction. Both perfect.

Enjoyed my visit. Sat in the bar area and service was efficient despite being quite busy. Food was very good and there are other things I would like to try from the menu. Great beer selection.

We decided to give this place a try as it was one of the only places still open at 8 pm. Despite the previous reviews we actually had a pleasant experience. The food was all delicious and the draught beer was super fresh. Totally recommend a burger and the aroma dome ipa from the local brewery in Fairbanks.

There was a wait for food (they said it would be an hour, but I don't think it was quite that long), but we still had a great time here. We were visiting from out of town and came here because they had some more unusual meats on their menu. We got the mac and cheese with reindeer sausage, elk burger, buffalo burger, and a pizza with elk, buffalo, reindeer, ham and cheese. They also had good beers and drinks.

The server was friendly! And he suggested places nearby to spot the auroras.
Wasn’t too busy . Just perfect to spend time and eat/drink.

Good menu selection! Came in for just a snack, but will have to stop back for a lunch/dinner option! Clean with friendly staff!!

The Banks came highly recommended, and was right down the street, from my hotel in Fairbanks. Not only did I stop in and have a delicious meal, and one of the best Long Island's I've had in awhile, but I also ran into a fellow Texan, and ended up at a Fairbanks Ice Dogs hockey game - how cool is that?

We enjoyed the Banks Alehouse so much we went there twice on our trip. The steak salad was cooked medium just how I like it. We also had their burgers. Everything we ordered was good. We loved the atmosphere and found that the service was fantastic both times we came.

We almost missed dining here during our stay, but it was surely worth the visit! Yummy food 😋 and tasty drinks 🍸with great outdoor dining service from the bartender!

My shrimp tacos were amazing, and my son's brisket burger was filling!

Good burgers and great drinks. Seated promptly and the server paid attention to make sure our drinks were never empty.

Service was great! She was so patient and helped my pick my best four for a tasting flight of local beers. Great veggie burger but my dinner dates had (inhaled) the pizza which looked so good. Nice, roomy atmosphere and some booth seating for private discussion.

The food was delicious and the portions were Huge! The staff was so nice and very accommodating; especially for my disabled 84-year-old dad! *****

My favorite place to eat in Fairbanks. Large selection of drinks (beer, cocktails, spirits, and wine), excellent food, good service, and plenty of entertainment (games on tvs and painting classes to watch).

WOW! I had ordered the steak nachos, I was amazed on how big the plate was. Not only that, but they used good size chunks of steak.

The food is good, quality takes time and I would rather have it the way I ordered it. The burger was juicy and delicious. The sweet potato fries were cooked just right and the whole plate was scrumptious.

Classic burger was just as expected. Servers were all friendly and attentive. Food prices were higher than compared to the lower 48 states. But seemed fair for the area. Comparable to a chili's in Oklahoma.

Good food, nice atmosphere and good service. Great selection of draft beers.
