We do a lot of shopping here the sales associates are always helpful they usually have everything we need grocery wise also they have the best fruit in our opinion and if they don't have any of the fruits in we like it doesn't usually take long before they have them restocked the part where they have the hot foods is another good spot we love to get food they only downfall is the overwhelming amount of homeless people going in and out of the store and panhandling in the parking lot other then that we highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning 😁

Awesome shop with a great plant section. I got everything I wanted, even chicken tenders late at night! Made broccoli Cheddar soup with friends afterwords. Their liquor store is open late and we'll stocked!

The customer service was quite accommodating with the requests we made, and the food was good. Prices are higher here in Alaska than I’m used to in the lower 48, but that’s just a function of the location of the store and is consistent with the rest of the Alaska market.

We just picked up chicken and wedges for dinner....gentleman at the deli was absolutely the BEST!! So very friendly,polite and helpful!! Such a rare thing these days for sure having worked as a produce manager for 20 years!! Very much appreciate customer service!! Keep up the good work!

Safeway is such a great " SUPER " market. They made a beautiful graduation cake for my daughter's graduation from U.A.F. and we got some great looking bouquet of flowers. Many thanks

I had an issue and the 2 ladies in customer service went above and beyond to try and help resolve it. The issue did not get resolved, however it was not their fault nor Safeways. I cant thank you ladies enough for the effort you put fv orth, it was very much appreciated.

Nice place, quite, calm efficient. Staff is wonderful and it all really matters.

Only place open past 10pm in this sorry town. They close at 1am. Always well stocked. Delicious produce-watermelon n pears Yummy. Courteous service.

I go there for my prescription the staff in the pharmacy are the coolest. And I get my meat from their. Every day they mark down what's going to expire so they mark it down it's still good less expensive. Steaks I couldn't afford at regular price.

Been outta town few years and great to shop there last 2 days and fuel up. Nice to see Bruce and Nick as well as others still there. Friendly well stocked store

They have the best produce in town. The Bakery is always Awesome. There is always a good sales on meat variety. Nice thick steaks to be found in the Family Pack portions.

Great service,I love your butcher department man. Absolutely wonderful fellow. We need more working people like him. I'm sorry that I never grabbed his name though... he handled the seafood though! Clean area and good prices too

Went here to purchase our Turkey/ chicken dinner for Thanksgiving. We purchased chicken from the Deli and were super impressed with Michael K., the gentleman who helped us. He was not only working over the Thanksgiving holiday, but was so hospitable and friendly while doing so. We were traveling and couldn't cook a Turkey, so he cooked us up some fresh fried chicken for us to enjoy. He was so kind to us!!!! Thanks Michael!!!!!

Friendly cashier's and a very talented person working with the produce. Bakery 🥯🧁, and the sweets selection is not to be missed during your shopping experience to Safeway. "Sheri" in the Safeway pharmacy is a very talented and caring woman who is eager to be able to help and assist you with anything you need... even if you need to ask about that embarrassing item for the adults.... overall I think I have to say that I would love to recommend Safeway pharmacy for the Rx and medical stuff your family may be in need of... But I'm sure you can tell by the way I have written up my review... the bottom line is Please visit the Safeway at the Bentley Mall for ALL of your families Groceries and pharmacy needs. Always my choice for groceries love there fruits and veggies always best compared to other grocery stores. Prices are a little higher but sometimes can find good deals. Especially on $5 Friday. Also have a very good floral department. Always go here for my floral needs. The floral staff are always very helpful. Love Safeway

Northpole Safeway is finally getting a much needed renovation. I don't like how they moved things around. Because it makes shopping more difficult. But, the helpful employees make shopping easier.

Friendly staff. Clean store. Espresso bar. Self checkout available. Same quality one expects in a modern Alaskan safeway. Convenient location, located in the bentley mall, so within very short walking distance to costco, a nail salon, a laundromat with clean showers, Sallys Beauty supply, Cricket, a gun store, and office maxx, to name a few. Unfortunately, not open 24 hours but none of the safeways in fbks or north pole are.

Always enjoy shopping at this Safeway. Competitive prices, friendly helpful staff, clean well stocked store. And it is big enough to carry everything I need, but small enough that I don't feel like I'm on a 3 mile hike trying to find what I need in the so-called superstores.

Wonderful store. For some odd reason College Road Safeway seems to have a better inventory than the one on Airport Way. Purchased Beyond meat here, which is not in the other one.

Make sure you get a Safeway card. Usually not as good of savings as Costco but free membership and not as hectic as Fred's
