Always shop here for Japanese foods and a lot of my gluten free foods. Just be careful and always check the labels. As with any store there are items that contain glutens.

This place is awesome!! The person I interacted with was so incredibly nice and helpful. They gave me tips, advice and was really friendly to talk with. The prices were way better than supermarkets and they helped me find what I was looking for. Thank you for a great little shop.

mochi, lychee, seaweed, noodles, sauces, snacks, and more! my favorite Asian Market in town. fairly accessible for wheelchair users. be aware the isles are narrow (it's because there's so much tasty options!)

There is something yummy and delightful found around every corner. If there is something you do not know about any kind of Asian cuisine , the family that owns this store is sure to help. I kind of hope they adopt me.

I've never been treated so nicely in a convenient/grocery store before. The cashier was super friendly and helped us find everything that we needed, as well as helping us compare and contrast a couple of brands that we were unfamiliar with.
This is definitely a clean and well-maintained store, jammed packed with delicious snacks and a wide variety of supplies!

This store has a good selection! The only place I was able to find boba by itself. Now I can make my own stuff at home. Will be back for sure

We enjoy shopping here for fresh vegetables. Some of the best prices we have seen and hard to find items from around the world. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. So many neat Pacific and Southeast Asian chutneys and spices. I could go on and on. You could try something different each time.

Always friendly service. It's small but packed the the brim and they surprisingly have anything you can think of. HIGHLY recommend the Cosmos kimchi. I tore through my jar in record speed.

What a gem! They have a little bit of everything in this small shop. Making Pad Thai? Sushi? Need some exceptional hot sauce? Look no further. Whole foods has nothing on these guys. And the best part is their service. Very knowledgeable staff will help u pick the right ingredients for what u are making.... And the go the extra mile, like when my 7 y/o lost her toy somewhere in the shelves... They took our number and name. I didn't expect anything. Then bam!! Called 2 weeks later after they found it when cleaning out the shelves! Awesome!

Physically a small market, yet there is an impressive selection well organized into it. Pleasantly surprised by the myriad of Saké, and appreciative of the knowledge shared, helping us make the decision to buy one of the best wines we have ever had.

I love supporting local businesses and Foreign Affairs is my favorite market. They always have everything that I need and they give great recommendations on the best products to use. The staff is super friendly and I usually get to have a nice chat with whoever is at the register.

I love that this market has a lot of things I can't find anywhere else in Asheville. I used to have to drive all the way to Greenville to buy things such as paneer, indian chutneys, etc.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothers me is that it is a little disorganized. I hope that some day they can expand their business into a space that is a bit roomier.

Excellent store for Indian food ingredients and puja supplies! 💖 They are taking exemplary measures during COVID by spraying your hands with hand sanitizer when you enter, not touching your credit card, wiping down your items as they bag them and only letting 5 people in the store at a time. This is the only store in the city where I can find the paste I use for homemade green curry 💚. I also inquired about some powders for a ceremony and though they didn’t have them in stock the owner said she could order them for me💝. Orders placed by Friday are delivered Tuesday and pick-up is Wednesday 💛. Very customer friendly!

This is your best bet on the east side of Asheville if you're looking for foreign produce and goods (especially Asian and Indian foods). The owner is friendly. Even though the place is small, their inventory is well stocked with most things you'll need. They even have a well stocked produce department. Just make sure to ask them what days the fresh produce comes in. Considering there aren't many Asian markets in Buncombe county, their prices are acceptable.

I love this place, whenever I need spices they have the best deals, also fresh produce, candy, quick meals, dry goods, cold drinks, frozen foods and kitchen wares. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend you check it out sometime.

If you are looking for specialty ingredients for your Asian inspired cuisine - look no further. Shop is crammed full of all sorts of things you need to cook in a Chinese, Thai, Japanese, etc. style. Lots of unusual seafood in the frozen section, sauces and spices galore, even some nice, unusual produce.
