Faubourg Fresh Market

Super friendly staff. Pet friendly environment. While working at Algiers point yesterday, I visited this Fresh Market and fell in love with this store. If I lived in algiers, I would almost live at that store thank you Faubourg Fresh Market for being awesome.
OH yeah.. They have outstanding SNOWBALLS... YEAH BOY......

SANDWICH DELI! Time for some fresh reviews because our local neighborhood market just seriously upped their game. A full Deli with hot and cold sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, and an ever expanding grocery selection. Great beer and wine picks. Premium items like pasture raised meats, eggs and even oat milk. Oh and they got snowballs too!

Great little corner market with most of the essentials you need, smaller liquor and wine selection, but for the area a nice local craft beer selection! Deli is delicious, my boyfriend and I got the Italian and the roast beef. Extremely friendly staff and saying hello to Ruth is a mandatory thing ( when you see her, you'll know)

Fantastic corner market. They have everything you need plus a great selection of craft beer, wine, and fresh produce.

Great specialty grocery in the much needed area of Algiers Point!

Went in looking for a few items for lunch one day and was impressed with hyper local (and many fresh) items and very friendly people. Nick and Kelly are some of the best people to know and very knowledgeable about everything New Orleans and the point. I now go back as often as I can and get some cold snacks or a few beers on my way home from work.

Love this store! They have a huge selection of craft beers, wines and seltzers, meats and veggies from locally sourced spots; and talk about friendly folks! I urge you to try them out, you will be so surprised at what you find! Best of all the support of a local neighborhood joint ices the cake. Its like a gourmet New Orleans that was.

Recently stepped in to grab some picnic type items and was amazed with the selection of locally sourced products. Kelly was so welcoming and accommodating, you can tell she really loves her location. Incredibly local store I wish I had in my area. Highly Recommended A+++

This is a fantastic little corner store. My family and I walk here at least once a week and pick up some snacks. They do carry quite a few staples as well if you need something but don't want to go out to a full grocery store (e.g., milk, eggs, bread, meats, coffee, etc.). They also carry a lot of local items, which is especially nice. It gives us a chance to try new things from local vendors.

We are very happy to have Fauberg Fresh Market in Algiers Point!! Super friendly staff with nice local meats, cheeses, veggies, cereal, etc. They have most items you would find at a local grocery. Excited to get beer and wine soon too :)

The prices are extremely high, but the people are nice, and friendly. I will go there sometimes, but those prices are oooooo lol. No complaints! I wish the juice was a little cheaper, because I can't drink soda, but soda is the cheapest drink. Poor kidneys lol. I recommend this place... if you're well off haha!

In spite of my disappointment at Faubourg not accepting EBT, they have my heart. I called a little while ago in an attempt to locate a colander within close proximity that wouldn't require me to have to cross the river (which now costs $2 every time you board the ferry). The lady that answered apologized and siad that they had yet to get cookware in the store for sale. I told her that if she personally had an extra one around that I'd purchase it from her. She then tells me that her son lives nearby and that she'd get him to see if they had an extra colander. If they did, she said she'd sell it to me. Though her son found that they did not have an extra, I was amazed by the customer service and consideration of solving my problem in a direct and simple way. The willingness to help someone in that manner goes a long way in my book. Thank you so much for being who you are and also a kind neighbor.

Way more available than you would expect from a small corner grocer. Tons of local options (local fresh produce, beer/seltzers, spreads & cheeses, pickles, meats, etc), gluten free bread, all kinds of dinner options, and the staff are super sweet!

Loved it! Fresh produce from local farmers. Just what I needed to prepare a meal while on vacation in the lovely neighborhood of Algiers.

Found some great produce and some awesome dips. Spent way too much money but the ice cream was worth it.

This is a great place to pick up local eggs, meats, dairy, beer, and other basic provisions.

You can by local items here. A lot of nice artwork too. Very pleasant
