Weaver Street Market

I really like the Southern Village Weaver Street. There's ample parking and the store is a little less overwhelming than the larger one in Carrboro.
They have a nice selection of wine, bulk goods, and produce.

Great store, wonderful fresh produce. Helpful and friendly staff. The wellness department is outstanding with knowledgeable people, Joy and Kelley! Nicely organized and arranged store so you can find products you're looking for as well as a very good selection. Love the fruits and vegetables and the local fresh meats. Always a pleasure to shop here.

Best baguettes in the area. Best place to put together a great spread for the unexpected dinner guest coming in an hour. Super Danishes, cakes, and cookies too. I come here for the finest quality local produce, bread, farm fresh eggs, cream and milk. This Weaver St location also carries a limited selection of top quality meats and seafood, grocery items, many fancy cheeses, and prepared dishes. So many local craft beers. Wine selection never disappoints-- you will find something great. I love that I can get the highest quality ingredients and be in and out in fifteen minutes.

Love love love it! I've been looking for a place that sells local milk, and I'm thrilled I can stock up here!

This was my first time in the market. Very clean, well organized and a great selection. The cup of coffee was great, not bitter at all! To top off the experience, Kathan in the bakery department was very attentive and friendly. I had no plans of purchasing any bakery items….I ended up picking up a carrot cake….which was amazing! If I could give six stars I would! Well done all around!

Weaver Street Market is the heart of Southern Village. The service is exceptional and the products that are offered are top quality. I shop here for the majority of the items I need and am never disappointed. They also make healthy and top quality food a priority here which I am so grateful to have here in Southern Village!

Such a lovely place! I felt so welcome coming here with my two boys. We were greeted and offered assistance right away. I really loved the selection of local organic produce, and everything else! We drive from Siler City. You guys really made my day and appreciate you! We checked out with Justin and he was so friendly and personable especially with my kids. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Its like a locally owned whole food. But better than whole foods in my opinion. Great for organic produce and ethically sources meat. I am also particularly fond of their bulk food section where they have grains, nuts, and much more. The hot food bar is also delicious and reasonably priced. Get a meal or grab a beer and enjoy their spacious outdoor seating area.

We have been owners since the store opened . We have shopped at all three stores in the chapel hill area. Of course each one has its own personality but we love them all. We do 90% of our grocery shopping here which takes a bit of effort as we live 30 minutes away but it is well worth it. Great selection of organic produce and products. The bulk bin selection is extensive. Lots of local products.

Love having this grocery store close to my house. Great wine and beer selections, great hot bar, really enjoy all the gluten free options available. The one thing I need to use more often is the coffee bar, I honestly like it more than any coffee bar in chapel hill and I sometimes forget it's there! One thing to note is the staff are awesome, not many grocery stores where you have such friendly employees.

We love The Weave! Matt is so pleasant! Loved the salad bar being back and we enjoyed eating on the patio outside.

Go to for hard to find things (certain beer, sunflower bread). They have a buffet that smells amazing and the strawberry rhubarb pie is absolutely fantastic! A great easy pickup for a potluck you may have forgotten about! Prices can be a little high, but I understand that before shopping. I'm not a co-op member. I do love the expansion with outdoor seating in 2 areas; pretty much for those with dogs and those without...

The best Weaver Street out of all of them. The staff is friendly and so kind and always willing to help. During Covid they have really stepped it up and done a great job keeping customers safe and only opening when it was safe to so so. We now do all of our shopping here and the curb side pickup and online ordering has been huge, I hope it sticks around.

Great store! We've been members for several years. It's a coop, so you get a nice rebate at the end of year, a small percentage of your expenditures. Great way to support the Carrboro community.

Nice shop with a good variety of local and organic items. Prices are in line with whole foods / whole paycheck. The prepared food and hot bar are 'meh', but that is my personal preference. They make lots of ethnic food that is way dialed down for the masses.

This is a great little neighborhood market. It's much smaller than the main location in Carrboro, but it still has an outdoor seating area, a hot and cold food bar, the good selection of local Brews, and a really solid selection of cheeses.

I have been shopping at Weaver Street for over 7 years. I have absolutely no complaints. The staff is very friendly and the food is well sourced. They take the guess work out of eating local and sustainable food. If you are unhappy for any reason they easily will return items.

I come here to eat or get coffee all the time. They have a great hot bar and salad bar, and their cakes and pastries are delicious. Groceries are a little pricey but on par with places like Whole Foods.
