This is response to the most recent review by Ana Pratap. I was in line waiting for my prescription and she was really rude to the pharmacy staff. This pharmacy does help you and reach out to your doctor for help.

What she fails to understand is that you are your own advocate. Her situation was simple. You are also responsible for your medications as well. My parents calls their doctor for a follow up with medications.

Plus she could have asked the pharmacy to help set her up with text alerts, phone calls, or use the app to be notified about prescriptions.

The staff at this pharmacy works so hard to help their customers. Not to be callous, but I hope this lady goes somewhere else. However, I feel sorry for the pharmacy that has to deal with her.

I was struggling to find a few items and one of the employees helped me find them. She was so helpful. Highly recommend this location!

**Buyer Beware*

My experience getting my prescriptions filled has been getting progressively worse with time. What really bothers me is that with the drugs shortage problem the pharmacy team is willing to short fill your order while they await a shipment. That's great! That's the kind of experience you might have at a local drug store: having a relationship with the pharmacy and them working with you to help out given these challenges. The BAD part: they double bill you and then act like there's nothing they can do and that you'll have to take it up with your health insurer. My meds end up hostage unless I pay you twice.

This has happened twice in the last 4 weeks and I'm sure it's happening to others. Once with my wife for her Rx which is for fertility treatment and once for mine which is an antidepressant. Let's say your doctor prescribes a 30-day supply and the insured cost is $10. You might get 10 or 15, you pay $10. You attempt to refill PROBLEM: too early. You talk to them and they sort it out. You get your remaining 15 pills or an actual 30-day supply: $10. Wait so I have to pay $20 total for my meds? $10 MORE than I should be paying? Time to play dumb and helpless and deliver a "you need to talk to your insurer, sorry." Right, they're going to say you need to talk to Walgreens because the issue really has nothing to do with the insurer. Walgreens is charging you twice for one of the product.

Every time I come to this pharmacy now there's an issue. I'm going to be getting my Rxs filled elsewhere goin forward.

Efficient communication/business process needed between pharmacy and a prescribing doctors office to avoid running out of meds. Especially when its an older person involved. Here and there understandable but happening way too regularly, why can't we do better for those already dealing with illness and aging? #dotherightthing

I walked into this store looking for specific items, when I asked an eployee they gave me the run around & as I went up to the cash register, it was all right there. Then when I tryed to apply for a Walgreens card they lied about having them... My money is as good as anyone's.. DO ME A FAVORE & report this store and NEVER go back..

This pharmacy is totally disorganized understaffed it us in a constant state of chaos bordering dangerous moved my parents out asap

Pharmacy is horrific. I have been asked for my insurance card, no lie or exaggeration 10 times. I have provided it with every single number etc for every single prescription for them to say "we never had it." Extremely rude and unfriendly- although in the wrong very aggressive and quick to dismiss and blame the customer. You will get texts the prescription is ready and go there for them to say "we never got it," or "we do not have your insurance in our system," or "the computer is down and we cannot use your insurance so you can pay out of pocket and submit receipts." I am a healthcare professional and absolutely shocked at this pharmacy- definitlely will switch but unfortunately this is what is close to my home. BEWARE- I would NOT have this pharmacy as your primary pharmacy- AVOID getting any prescriptions filled there by any means. It would go a long way if they were at least kind and willing to help. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Just tonight was told to pay out of pocket for my infants eye drops because their system was down- not to mention they didnt have the insurance- (I was there literally a few days prior and gave the insurance card for the tenth time). Walgreens seriously needs to do something about this pharmacy

Clueless unprofessional young staff working here. Waited 1 hour on customer service line to place an order for pickup after one botched order. Called the store to confirm if the order was placed this time. They verified my name and said yes. Go to the store and they say order was never placed and that there was a "miscommunication" How is that possible even after calling to doublecheck the order status?? Did not even offer an apology, some even giggled as I waited for an answer. Really poor standards looking at the rest of the reviews here

In general all Walgreens are terrible but this one in particularly is horrible. 15 min wait then another long wait for pharmacist to give vaccine. Only one register working no organization and very customer takes at least 8 min to serve. Go to CVS

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH MGR. K & REZWANA (cosmetics dept). 2282 Jericho Tkpe. Keep in mind Xmas of 2021 I got the entire staff Xmas gifts.

Dec 12 2022. At the store buying a few items. Some worker accused me of stealing. I had my receipt in my purse. Which I told him numerous times. Same person that when I asked for help he sat on the floor and completely ignored me.

I had had a few drinks before for I was stressed out over numerous major surgeries coming up. He was very rude. Basically again accusing me of stealing. I had had enough so at the end I acted a fool. I left moments later only to get arrested at my home. I called the next morning at 9am. Spoke to Asst Mgr Charlie and pharmacy staff & called the 800 to also apologize for my behavior.

Mgr Mr. K, Rezwana(cosmetics) & a couple of ladies in cosmetics have ignored me and simply when they see me they walk the opposite way. Keep in mind they weren’t even there on Dec 12 2022.

Today I go to get lipgloss and to my surprise Mr.K & Rezwana walk towards me. Says hello & how can I help you. Then few seconds later Rezwana comes towards saying hi. Asking how can she help. I just ignored both of them.

There were 3 corporate people there in the cosmetic dept. Guessing some kind of meeting. Now I exist to them. Now they want to act like that’s how they have treated me since Dec 12 2022. What FAKES. I was DISGUSTED. People like this should be employed here. Period.

LUS (ANGELA) & KAUR are honestly sweetheart. As soon as I walk in Angels says hi Cindy. How’s are you beautiful? I say the same to her. She’s AMAZING. Very professional, nice, polite, helpful. Always in a happy mode and we always greet each by name.

Let me add to the bad reviews.... HORRIBLE! The staff is truly bothered to help you. They have no business being an authorized FedEx location. When you can beg someone to help you, they can never operate the FedEx Scanner. One man at 1:00pm, didn't want to take the time to scan my package and asked me if I had the tracking info and to just leave the package. When I said I wanted him to scan it because I wanted the confirmation that they received it, he told me it wasn't going to go out until Monday anyway because FedEx had already picked up. He just didn't want to be bothered. So I took my package back and will go elsewhere. Ridiculous!!!! If you all hate your job so much go work somewhere else!

They don’t show concern to the need of the patient. You will ask for a new glucose meter and they would tell you they would reach out to your doctor themselves but will never let you know that nothing happened. Meanwhile you’re waiting for them to inform you that it’s ready for pick up until you call and follow up. Then they would say you should call your doctor as well as an excuse. Which seems to sound like they never called your doctor. This is the second time already. So I guess, it’s time to change either your pharmacy or your pharmacy branch because this branch at Jericho Turnpike are not dependable and becoming irresponsible

If I did not catch it, they would’ve given me the wrong medication once. The wait time is the worst… they don’t even seem to know where they place your medication… take a long time to find them

Incompetence at its finest at this location. Pharmacy is without a doubt the worst. Whatever pharmacist worked 9/24 at 12:30 needs to be fired. Remarkably slow and not very bright. Has a nasty attitude but makes sure not to wear a name tag as to avoid complaints. My advice… go to the one on Franklin Ave in GC. However the tech who delivered the shot was outstanding!!! I hope she finds another place to work, she’s better than that dump.
