Owner Nardo is incredible and personable.

We buy bread and different foods from here weekly!! I lived in Florence for some time and this makes me feel like I'm in Italia again. :) Always fresh and the customer service is always wonderful. Grazie mille!

Some of my favorite delectable delights in a small market setting with excellent dining area and the best coffee america has to offer . Definently a hot spot when im in this area of long island .

Made a quick stop as I was walking by the store. I was greeted by a jolly staff who gave me a quick walk through of the store and showed me some of their unique products. They gave me a few different flavors of gelato to try and then loaded me up with a large cup. Love it! I will be back!

The history of this business goes back to early 1900s with roots in Italy. In more recent times the market used to operate out of their warehouse a few doors down but now the family has separated the RETAIL business (Sansone Market) from the WHOLESALE (Sansone Foods). SANSONE MARKET now lives in this bright and beautiful new market! You can feel the authentic love they have for family and food by their kindness and knowledge of the Italian products they sell. Their meats, cheeses, olives, pasta, gelato, pastries and excellent Lavazza coffee are just the best!! They carry a very wide variety of products and if you don't see something, they can get it from the warehouse! The staff at the Espresso Bar are great and the Cheese and Meats counter staff are super knowledgeable: Chef Lino of La Bella Nonna creates magic during the morning and afternoon with his prosciutto and focaccia breads, delicious pastries, cookies, desserts, and mind-blowing gelato; Lily the cheese monger knows her stuff, and the meats and cheeses sandwich counter guys Frank and John make mouth-watering sandwiches that could single handedly stave off the Hunger Games. They also make oven-fresh pizzas to order during the day and on Saturdays, Felix from Happy Bull Pizza is cranking out delicious pizzas! You better avoid this place if you have no will power! And finally the family and the management team are kind, honorable, very professional yet down to earth. Perfect place to go on a date, bring the kids to enjoy a treat, or get your groceries. :)

My wife & I love everything about Sansone Market. My only problem with Sansone is that I wish I discovered it exists earlier in my life. We catered my toddler's birthday party all from Sansone & everyone couldn't stop talking about the food.

When we pick up lunch from Sansone on the weekends, 1 of our favorite parts of the visit is seeing Rudy behind the deli counter. He's always so helpful & nice with every single thing. Everything he makes for us is delicious, especially those eggplant towers. My wife loves those & notices a difference when he makes them for her. He makes us feel like family from the moment we walk through the doors.

Ragazzi, a great place for imported and authentic Italian everything!!! Been coming since they were doing business out of the warehouse and highly recommend for anyone with on the hunt for specific italian fare. Staff are very helpful and polite.

Outstanding! Great food ar a fair price. The original wholesaler to all the top Italian restaurants now has a market for public sales. Everything you would need for a complete Italian meal is here. Alot of hard to find imported products. Terrific staff. Highly recommended.

I started going to the original warehouse a block west of the market many years ago when I needed larger quantities.

with the market, been going since day 1.

Some things may seem a little pricey but everything is going up, just look at gasoline a year ago..Their quality and selection of goods is spot on.

I love the selection of cheeses and olives and especially the many types of prosciutto. They also have my favorite which is hard to find, Guanciale !

Really good Italian market. Unique flour selection and worth the trip if you’re into bakery grade flour. If you know your Italian markets you will find this place really handy.

Wow. This is a must if you are in the area. Amazing selection of all food italian. Sandwiches are so big they make your arm sore carrying them. Did I mention the taste. . . Magnificent... You really must go even if it is our of the way. It is worth the trip.

Everything is fresh, everything is clean, the place is beautiful, the gelato is the best I’ve had, the staff is lovely, the sandwiches are huge and delicious.

The place reminds me of stores you can only find in my beloved Brooklyn or Arthur Ave in the Bronx. The manager is such a nice guy.
I’m cheap…. This store isn’t, but I go there all the time. Why? Because it’s fantastic. Worth it!

We went in just to see what this place was about. We wound up ordering a muffuletta sandwich for lunch. Then we pickup up some fresh penne and a package of lobster ravioli and a jar of vodka sauce to have later for dinner. The sandwich was delicious. We even talked about ordering one for an upcoming party.
The vodka sauce was really good with the fresh penne. The all star was the lobster ravioli. It was absolutely amazing. I said to my wife "This is the first time ever that I've had lobster ravioli and was actually able to taste the lobster". I'll definitely be returning and stocking up on fresh pastas and sauces. I can't wait to try everything they offer!

Rob is the man!!

Went in for a last minute scramble gift. Rob assisted me, took down my budget and I also stated dietary constraints for the person who I was giving it to.

He told me he wouldn't have it ready for me until the next day, Christmas Eve, which was totally understandable given the timing and holiday rush.

Rob calls me later that same day and tells me I can come pick it up! Now that's SERVICE!

Basket was beautiful and it contained a perfect assortment. The person who I gave it to was extremely delighted with it and will definitely be visiting Sansone soon.

Excellent experience and I can't wait to go back to try some of their other offerings.

They have such an amazing selection of italian goods. From cheese to breads. Even speciality pasta. It's definitely worth the trip. You definitely won't leave empty handed.
