Costello's Ace Hardware of Garden City Park

I bought my medium Big Green Egg here years ago, and have been shopping here just about Bi-weekly for all the BGE accessories. Spices, rubs, BBQ equipment, charcoal. They got it all. The BGE Charcoal is hard to come by, but when it’s here I get a few bags. That’s really the only section i go to and I love it. Employees are great, store is clean. Prices are decent, obviously I’d like to pay less but in this day the prices go up, the size goes down. I also respect that they were closed thanksgiving. People shouldn’t work they should be home!

The employees here absolutely AWESOME. The store manager "Nick" is the BEST. Came from another hardware store very frustrated. Told the workers what I need. And they immediately got everything I needed & Helped me with installation. The Epitome of Customer Service!

The five stars is actually going out to a worker, I think he said his name is Isaiah. Very tall slim guy. He brought the giant garbage can I bought out to my car in the freezing cold today and stayed out there for 10 minutes while trying to get it to fit in my car. I would have been completely stuck without him! Thanks, dude! You deserve the accolades!

Nice spacious store. People are helpful most of the time. Rather pay a bit more to support a local business then the big box stores.

Great prices and nice selection! Pretty much everything that Home Depot and Lowes carries (fewer choices but sufficient for most consumer needs) at comparable prices…but, I prefer supporting locally owned stores over the big box corporate-owned stores. Helpful knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend. Be sure to sign up for free discount membership.

I am very pleased with the information and help that Mike provided me for my purchase of the snow blower. I had some questions and Mike made all the effort to give me the right information and navigate me through my purchase. He was very patient and carefully listening to my concerns, and I could have bought this product from somewhere else, but, again the kindness and courtesy extended by Mike made me buy the product from Ace. It was a great experience.

AMAZINGLY HELPFUL! I originally bought a lawnmower through a third party website, couldn’t figure it out online. The store manager Maria was BEYOND helpful an she got it done! Our son LOVES his new housewarming gift! I’ll NEVER go to HD again!

The employees are great and really try to help to the best of their ability. The prices here are reasonable. They have good sales sometimes.

Great convenience store. Not all Ace Stores are as good. Staff was extremely helpful.

This is a five-star review, not a three-star. The only reason for that is because George works there. He's the type of employee bosses love, until they take the boss's job.
I had to get help to cut a key that was broken and that required some manual cutting (I'm a former Ace employee that knows the manual cutter better than most.) He did a perfect job

Very large store that is well organized and well stocked. Prices are very reasonable and there are plenty of options available for you to choose from. The parking lot is very convenient and I would like to mention that the owners are local so the money stays in the local economy which is always good.

Great place to shop for merchandise for your garden and home. The people who work in the great neck, new Hyde park and garden City park stores are very friendly and professional and knowledgeable. Shop here you will be happy and you will be supporting your family owned business. Keep it local.

Wow love this store. MARK the manager knows where every product is. Has trained the entire staff properly. Its never in aisle 3 they always take you their and ask what can we help you with.

They have good quality, but make sure you have your money. But I had a very terrible experience when I went there the other day. Someone used the grill inside the store and nobody cleaned it. It was do nasty and disgusting looking at the animal fat and the smell was disgusting, ppl need to know that they need to clean grills.

I only give a 5 Star review because of the service I receive at the store. A week or so ago instead of having to drive around back for a bag of lime Mark took my cart and went in back to get it for me. Always get such wonderful personal service no matter who is working.

I walked in the door. About 20 seconds after a gentleman offered help. He then brought us to the section we needed and immediately handed us what we needed. We needed 2 pressure caps. There was only 1 on the shelf. A second gentleman stepped in and immediately went in the back to check todays delivery and returned with the second cap. In and out in less than 10 minutes. Very courteous help.

Home Depot sent me here to buy a gas line that Home Depot didn't have in stock! And it's a lot easier to get help at Ace Hardware than Home Depot.

Great store plenty of assistance if you need it. Ample selection and fair prices. So much more a pleasant experience.

Wow, what a difference from the Lake Success store. EVERYONE at this location were super helpful, cheery and all around pleasant ( unlike the nasty manager Charlie in L.S.) I'm glad I tried this spot instead of going to the Mega stores.

I placed an order online. They were good to keep me updated about the order. On day of pick up they came and put my things into the trunk and that was it, all done.
