We had a wonderful experience with Will at Palmetto Home Center. We were about to use our chain saw when we realized the chain had fallen off and was dull. I immediately called the store and they told me to come right in. I brought in the chain saw. Will took me to his work bench right away. He found the correct chain and proceeded to put it on for me. He explained how important it was not to get the chain in contact with dirt! He filled the gas tank with the special gas for small engines. He even started it! It was ready to go for my husband! They only charged me for the chain! Love Will and the store!

This is kinda like a hidden gem. They have so much cool stuff to look at. Whether you are canning vegetables, buying construction supplies, or planting a garden...they can help. Only open till 5:30 and lumber stops selling at 4. Get there in time.

The Palmetto Home Garden Center is the best in the area!! I been to every garden center in Summerville but I get the best information, tips and service at the Palmetto Home Garden Center. The crew in the Garden Center really care about their customers!

I'm so grateful that I can rely on the staff to be helpful and available when I stop here! They are respectful and honest about their wide variety of stock. If they don't have what I need in stock they offer to order it for me and they will advise me who may have they item in the area.

I have been here a few times and everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. Especially the cashier who I've always made sure I was in her line. That cashier's name is Erin. She is awesome and always helpful. I recommend this place.

Nice hardware store. Pricing seems better than big box home centers. Excellent assistance from the staff. Carry a good assortment of tools, hardware, and yard supplies. Always go out of their way to enable me to get what I need.

So I went there originally for a funky plant for my Chameleon. The guy in the garden center was so friendly we started talking enclosures which then lead me to working with the young lady who was working the desk to get some PVC piping. Needless to say I didn't even end up taking on the project however...I know where the best hardware store in town is. I'll make sure I let everyone know how great their customer service is.

The staff is always helpful and friendly. Aaron always makes me feel like I am a family member, not just a customer.

Very nice store with everything you need from your house to the yard

I took my children with me, we had to match some stain and paint.
The chair wouldn't fit into the cart, but the employee helped me out soooooo much! He opened the door for us, he took his time with us. And....I got what I needed to do the job!!
The paint guy Dom(I think his name is?) He did an awesome job matching the paint color. And he told me if it wasnt right, we would make it right.
My kids were kinda in the front near the registers and the kids kept looking at the icecream. So- I treated them for good behavior too....icecream for breakfast! Thanks guys, I will def. Be back! Oh!!! And I forgot to get one thing when I went....they have crickets for fishing. :)

I use this store occasionally and always get excellent service. Today I stopped in for an air filter. Excellent service. Met Rambo! Drove out of lot on to Dorchester and my tire blew out. Thank you so much to the 3 employees that changed my tire!! You are all too kind!!

Excellent Customer Service! Called for an item I needed and not only did they have it in stock they also put it behind the counter for when we were able to come pick it up! We were very impressed with our experience and will definitely be repeat customers.

Love this place I always go there because it's a small business. This last time I went in and bought a gas inside grill and could not find any propane due to the impending hurricane. I think it was the owner who went to the back and grab two propane is out of his own stock that he bought for his hurricane prep. Very impressed with the customer service and the fact that he cared so much to help me by giving me some of his own supplies we will be back 😀
