The Container Store

I've been shopping at The Container Store since I was a senior in high school, so I've got expectations when I visit other locations. The Austin location met the standards.

First, this is the original storage and organization store, so there are many other places that now offer something similar or a knock off. Are some items on the high dollar side? Depends on your budget, but I'm still rocking with products I purchased in 1999. You get what you pay for.

This is one of their older stores as it's much smaller than the newer locations. The staff is friendly and cordial. And their custom closet team knows their stuff.

It's the holidays and I love getting stocking stuffers and cute gifts here. I advise you to purchase early. Once it's gone, it's gone! Overall, a great visit.

As a collector you see me in here often, the staff here really does go above and beyond to make sure you get what you're looking for. Eden Rodriguez was at his computer as I asked him a question and he didn't hesitate to stop what he was doing to assist me, he directed me to where I could find what I was looking for and the atmosphere was so welcoming I decided to apply myself. The staff, Keith May and Cynthia are all smiles. I'd recommend going here if you are looking for anything from home appliances to just stuff you never even knew you needed! Thanks once again, I appreciate you all for being so kind.

Is a breeze. Their closet systems are amazing. We have used them in several homes and couldn’t be happier. Worth every penny!

If you need your closet or pantry organized, go directly to GARY. His deep expertise and passion for organizing is amazing; he completely transformed our pantry which was a really difficult challenge as it is small and we needed it to operate as a coat closet, pantry, and recycling space. I couldn't believe how he was able to make this happen so efficiently and effectively, while being mindful of our budget. Getting into this space now is a daily delight and we are so grateful for his work. He's truly an artist at his craft- I just wish he could organize my life! Thank you Gary!! :)

After messing around with the interactive build your closet tool on the Container Store website, I was only able to build on three of the four walls. I finally gave up and my fiancé and I decided it would be best to make the drive to Austin to get a better feel for Elfa and what options were available. We meandered through the displays for a couple of minutes when Gary approached us and asked if we needed any help and we are soooo thankful that he did. We gave him our dimensions, I showed him my sketches and he quickly whizzed through the computer software and designed a closet that maximized our space and saved us a bunch of time. His knowledge of the product, ability to understand our needs, maximize our space, and navigate the computer software was impressive. He was friendly and personable. He made all the difference in our experience with the Container Store.

This store had everything I needed, it was organized well. Edan helped check me out and he was very friendly and wrapped everything super well so I didn’t have to worry about anything breaking. He has amazing customer service!

Lots of good items there if you ever need anything! and of course, theres more then containers, they have lots of pretty and unique things! I loved it and had to try not to buy everything!

For the first time an employee informed me of all the questions about the Elfa unit that hangs over the door I enjoyed the experience of Karen on Sunday night even though the store was closing she spent the time to show me how everything works she was super helpful. I enjoy shopping at stores where people know there products.

I love this place! I've just moved into a house that has sparse storage. I worry about the expense at The Container Store, so I ordered off of Amazon thinking I would get the same quality. On some things I did but on most I ended up sending them back. You cannot beat the quality and the creativeness of The Container Store. I found pretty much everything I needed, the staff was friendly and helpful and i dont need to return any of it. I spent a pretty penny but it was well worth it to have my new home much better organized.

I often dread going to this place because of how busy it is. The last time I was there, Allan was kind enough to take a moment from their busy schedule and help me out. I didn't feel rushed, and Allan was extremely kind and made sure I had everything I needed. Thank you so much!

Super cool store. Lots of ideas and lots of options. Most of the shelves and closets are customizable.

My company has a contract with The Container Store. I love delivering to these stores! The employees are always nice and explain where you need to be so they can unload. Always fast unloading for it being hand unloaded!

Container store is my absolute favorite for at home organization, but when you’re getting A LOT of things for a new at home project, sometimes you won’t need everything you get, and am so happy I am able to get different things with my store credit now!!!

Typically a little more expensive than I feel it should be, BUT, they have some really cool stuff that is worth the cost.

Wow what a selection! I'm surprised they don't sell funeral equipment. Like plastic urns and airtight body boxes.

Seriously tho, we buy a lot of stuff from them for our chandelier company.
Like containers and other storage items.

Just love all the cool stuff in this store. Was tired of the disposable duster so I found a nice washable option here.

Awesome place, can never get out of here for under $50 cause there's always something else to buy even if I don't need it 😛 Most of this stuff can be found online for cheaper prices if you look hard enough and are willing to wait weeks or months for it to get shipped here. The store is worth the mark-ups because it satisfies my urge for immediate gratification and makes it tons easier than sitting around waiting for my ship to come in.

A great place for shopping when looking for containers or other types of storage one might use in a place or for travel! Friendly staff and willing to help find things or show things around if needed.

I wish we paid more attention to her name, because (Myra?) one of the workers at closing today went above and beyond the call of containering duty to help us find the right solution to a unique storage need. Could hardly contain my excitement when I saw the storage solution I needed for my son Lyndon B. Frogson.
