I’ve come to this location a few times over the past few years. I had a chance to visit it again when I was looking for some spices to use with foods to cook. One was to try out this Capitol Hill seasoning that I read an article several months ago. Looking forward to trying that with some chicken! Another was to find peppercorns that didn’t have that typical bad smell most table ones have. One of the people in the store helped me to identify one that high. Try it out later at home and has a wonderful smell!
Friendly staff and a wide assortment of spaces to explore and try out! Parking is available in the shopping village. The store signage can be identified while driving around in that location area. Also can be found using Google maps.
Definitely recommend anyone in the area looking for spices visit this place!

I won't get my spices from anywhere else! I love coming into the store and browsing the selection, especially because the staff and managers are always so friendly and helpful. The spices themselves-- WOW! I recommend them to all my friends and family (and they make great small gifts!) Some of my favorites are the whiskey barrel pepper, the roasted garlic, and the onion garlic table-side sprinkle.

The smell of this store is incredible. If you are looking for any spice or even some dinner ideas this is the place to go. I love their Sunday Pot Roast mix and Taco Soup mix. You can spend a while just browsing. The girl that's usually working the counter is very helpful. Their website has so many recipes as well.

I adore this place. They always have great gift options for anyone who cooks. Their spices are fresh and high quality. I'm obsessed with their truffle sea salt - it's hard to find a truffle salt that has real truffles instead of the chemical some things use to mimic truffle oil. The staff here is always very, very knowledgeable and helpful. I always have a good experience here! I usually prefer to order things online, but the staff is always so great and helpful that I love coming into the store to find new things.

This place is awesome. The breadth of things available is incredible. Going here makes me understand why wars were fought over spices. They have individual spices and delicious spice blends. The Hill Country Gunpowder Spice is easily one of my favorites, and it's unique to the Austin store. Manager is also super friendly and helpful in suggesting items. Lastly, their website is very functional with recipe ideas specific to your selection.

This is my favorite spice store in Austin! Always well stocked with quality spices and blends (try the roasted garlic powder and whisky smoked pepper). The employees there are very friendly. Never will I buy spices from HEB again!

My very favorite place to get spices. The variety is endless and the staff are all very knowledgeable , friendly and helpful. I especially love all the different salt-free blends. If you are on a sodium restricted diet, this is definitely the place to go. It is great that you can sample each spice before purchasing and get as little as you need or a whole bottle. Every time I go I see something new.

I’ve always found Savory full of wonderful gifts for my salt-free folks and treats for me. I particularly want to thank Jasmine for remembering my odd California Citrus Rub request and setting it aside for me. The staff are friendly and willing to offer spice advice.

In anticipation of catching some great fish on our vacation to the Bahamas, I went in and got 1 oz each:

Jamaican Jerk Seasoning - good, a little spicy, but not as good as the stuff from Sunny Caribee
Pearl St. Plank Rub - great smoky, little sweet, just a little bite of heat
Hidden Cove Lemon Garlic Blend - above average lemon pepper blend
Colorado Plateau Citrus Pepper - super citrus and kick (l loved it, hubs didn't)
Barrier Reef Seasoning - loved this one on the trigger fish, lots of complex flavors

Staff there is VERY excited about their product and are happy to have you try everything. Warning - it can get to be flavor overload, but there's water and usually something to eat to help.

I spent less than $20 and had a great time.

Really helpful ladies that approach you if you need help, have questions or are curious how something smells if there's not a sample available. As a baker, I love their baking aisle. There's lavender sugar, peppermint sugar and extract. Some extracts are made with natural flavors and coloring and some are artificial. I like this place!

This shop is the best! I can find things here I couldn't find anywhere else. The quality of their stock is unbeatable. Using their products for your cooking brings things to another level. A must visit for any "foodie". Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to my trips here! Can't recommend enough.

This was my first time here and I will definitely be returning. The staff was helpful and there were so many different types of spices to experience. I was actually excited about buying spices which is new for me!

Excellent Black Truffle Salt, Excellent Rogan Josh spice. Knowledgeable people and an all around excellent experience. A place where the gourmand can trust his sources, and where anyone who loves food can learn a thing or two. Tracy greeted us so warmly we stayed and tasted, and learned and left with wonderful ingredients. A classy place!

If you are looking for spices, they have it all. Including salt free products. The only thing missing is a kit/recipe to help you produce pro sauces. Environment is nice, staff is very friendly. Only con: prices are a bit over what I expected
