Kick Butt Coffee

this is hands down the best coffee shop to work from in my opinion. Their food selection is vast, customization to their drinks AND food is top tier, and the atmosphere and comfy booths & seats are perfect for me when working remotely. There's also easy access via bike lane, a bus stop out front, a short walk from the nearby metro, and ample parking. Highly recommend. And on a personal note, customization is really important to me when I spend money somewhere and this is the only place in town I know I can get a toffee nut caramel macchiato.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and to start my work day. The atmosphere was my favorite part. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast sandwich and pecan cold brew. Zero complains. Keep up the good work. I'll see you soon.

I love that I can walk right in and tell the barista I need something to survive my work day, and they always deliver. Today it was Elizabeth that saved me from the Monday blues, with the most beautiful and tasty creation! Now I’m ready to get the work load done. Thanks Kick Butt!

Primarily a punk venue, there are other awesome events at this community centered spot. Check out their YouTube channel to get an idea of the vibe. I am primarily in it for the Sunday night open mic, Spoken and Heard. Fantastic safe space for self expression, you can go up on stage and kill it or suck, and get the feels either way, because the room is full of fellow performers just trying to be heard. Love it.

Really fun atmosphere and even better coffee! Honey lavender latte is a must. Baristas were playing good music, and it wasn’t too crowded and cramped (like most coffee shops) on a weekday morning.

Just moved to Austin and this coffee shop is close by My Job. It was very clean, friendly service and the coffee Kicks butt!
A nice surprise to find this establishment plus side it’s a music venue as well. Check it out!

Been coming here since the start of 2024 for the live shows. Great people, great bands, and great food. Best night so far has been Will's Birthday. Best bands so far have been Hot Dirt, Tibetan Sky God, and Some Kind of Nightmare.

Kick Butt is relaxed, and attracts all groups and individuals. I was there one day and a group of African American men, all ages and well dressed, came in for a church-related meeting! I loved it.

Love it! I've been meaning to come here foreverrrr and I'm mad I didn't come sooner. Awesome atmosphere. Exactly what imagined a "punk rock" coffee place to look like. Ultra cool and friendly baristas...and best off, the coffee rules. Interesting flavors, unique drinks. Good stuff. I'll def come for a show sometime

I got an oat milk cappuccino and it was one of the best I have ever had. The milk/coffee ratio was perfect. Usually, at the coffee chain that must not be named, all I get is a bunch of foam. The proprietor and the barista were very friendly and accommodating. If you go at the right time, the barista sells her gorgeous handmade jewelry! A definite bonus to the amazing coffee.

Had the dankest everything breakfast bagel sandwich + cream cheese + avocado. Chef chatted with me to check if it was good and that he added some extra spice to it (can’t remember what tho) Absolutely perfect. Latte was pretty sweet but it’s bc they have the pour tops not the pump tops like other places (just fyi)

This place is my go to comfort breakfast place. They’re consistent, absolutely sweeties, and I love the vibe. Check out their night events too!

Went to this place while visiting Austin. Very good coffee, and omg the cookies are to die for! My friend got a smoothie and it was SO GOOD!!! Couldn’t recommend this place any more. Will definitely visit again when I’m back in town!

I went to Kick Butt Coffee during the Altercation Comedy Fest. I had an absolute blast! The food, the staff, the owner, and the bar itself are all amazing! The comedy festival and the music were incredible! I will be returning.

Super fun spot for coffee and food during the day. Bathroom is hilarious. Good place for punk shows at night.

Stopped in to this local joint because I don’t support Starbucks or any chain coffee shops. Was intrigued with the theme. Was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere when I walked in. Kenzie and Thomas greeted us and welcomed us into this unique coffee spot. Had the Space Force cold brew and a mix of cafe de olla and the dark roast. Absolutely loved the cold brew and hot drip was delicious and smooth. No sugar needed. This place has a stage and bar, with shows on various evenings (music/comedy). Bar is open all day, and serves breakfast and lunch as well. Awesome service and “Kick Butt” atmosphere and vibe. Come out and support your local businesses. I highly recommend this joint.

I really love the feeling I get when I stop in at Kickbutt to grab coffee. It's such a cool space to enjoy and the staff are always welcoming. Also, there food selection is awesome and I've never been disappointed with an order.

Great coffee shop! Plus one of the workers came out and noticed me alone (I was waiting on a friend) and offered me to come inside and wait. I appreciate that she was looking out for me. If I could give it 10 stars I would ❤

I love the vibes here, very laid back and accepting. At night they have shows! I've seen many punk shows at kickbutt and it's always a blast

Baristas are always very friendly, the place has great atmosphere, and you'll definitely enjoy your food. I recommend the Return of the Dragon-flavorful turkey with veggies, provolone, on a toasted focaccia roll. Yum!

I love stopping by Kick Butt when I am out and about, the atmosphere is so welcoming and laid back-something I really appreciate from a coffee shop! Their baristas and staff are all cool, nice people and I plan to continue to be a regular!
