Con' Olio Oils & Vinegars

Absolute 10 out of 10 experience at this cute little shop!!! They have SO many oils and vinegars to try and sample. The sweet workers were so knowledgeable and helpful. They have great recommendations on best ways to use and pair the oils. The prices were very reasonable. We got 4 of the 60 ml bottles for less than $25. She even gave us recipe cards and an ingredient list. Such a great experience and SO TASTY! Highly recommend for a fun way to spice up your cooking and snacking. :)

We had the best time tonight at Chef Fer's Paella cooking class. This was my first paella class and it did not disappoint. It's interactive and Fer does a fantastic job explaining all the steps and love that go into paella. I highly recommend this class, eating, drinking and enjoying great company. Also, the blueberry balsamic is a must, grab that too!

Went to the first new year 2020 olive oil and balsamic vinegar class and tasting. Behold the fine cheeses and prosciutto to match.

I didnt realize what I was missing in this area til I came. The staff were well verse and the classes were interactive instead of a recitation of facts.

You learn a lot, you get to eat a lot, and the staff is second to none. Texas family owned who donates to the community. Takes pride in their sourcing and ensuring fresh.

Definitely support this business and definitely take a class.

We just went in this store out of curiosity, but ended up entranced by the delectable taste of the many oils and vinegars. We bought some of the Tuscan oil and used it to saute our asparagus. The flavor was amazing! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Always love coming here. Staff is always friendly. They give me credits for recycling my bottles. Love the greek green chili oil above all else. The oregano oil is wonderful as well. The roasted pumpkin seed oil is so rich. The balsamic vinegars are lovely, but sometimes too sweet for my liking, even when diluted. I stick to the deep flavored oils. Drive up from San Antonio just to get my fancy cooking supplies from here and a few other spice shops in this town.

Love this place. My secret to great salad. I get compliments and it’s quick. I get great combinations and pairings. I use the lemon and orange oils for olive oil cakes. I can buy the whole store if I could. I love herbs de Provence, Tuscan and Milanese oils.

Went for a tasting class, one of my favorite experiences in Austin so far! The teacher of the class who is also the owner was not only such an incredibly nice woman, but was so knowledgeable and passionate about Con’ Olio. Every olive oil and balsamic vinegar we tasted was delicious, the wines and foods they sell are absolutely delicious. The attention to detail from everything to the quality of their products to the lovely service makes Con’ Olio an absolute must try!

If you haven't visited Con' Olio, you are missing out. Their fruit balsamic vinegar are absolutely outstanding and really add to the flavor of salads and marinades. When I visited today, Rachel and Amanda were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I always take my out of town visitors there. In addition to the vinegars, they have a lots of different olive oil.
It's a gem in Austin.

Walking around killing time today as my husband attended a class at the Arboretum Hotel. Honestly, thought I was entering another store, but once the door was open I felt committed. This is not likely a store I would have ever considered going to, but once I got my first sample---Roasted Pumpkinseed Oil---I was all in! I didn't catch the name of the nice fellow who helped me, but he paired the Organic Herbes De Provence Olive Oil with Summer Peach Balsamic Vinegar. It was delicious! I wound up leaving the store with my purchases in a box. I'm a new fan and can't wait to share with others!

My wife and I found Con' Olio a number of years ago having just moved to Austin and have been loyal customers ever since. The folks who run this store, and especially the now closed Downtown location, really know their stuff and are exceptionally friendly and helpful. One of the great things about Con Olio is that you can go and taste, which is can be a fun little outing for folks who are from out of town and love to cook. They have some great ideas for using their balsamic vinegars to mix with seltzer water, which we do a ton of. The peach, mango, and lemon are my three favorites, but I would by lying if I said we only had those flavors. We have a ton of their balsamic vinegars in our house and love them on salads, soups, with drinks, etc. Def go and visit these guys.

It doesn’t even make sense how incredible this store is! I’ve received vinegars as gifts before, and thought well maybe I’ll go in and get one for myself. The vinegar I received as gifts were amazing, but that is just the tip of the iceberg of what this store has to offer. On top of that the staff is phenomenal! It’s like I went to a fancy restaurant on a culinary adventure and I was just at an oil and vinegar shop. But that sounds like blasphemy after going, it’s not just an oil and vinegar shop!! Just go.

Great selection of delicious and unique oils and vinegars, and customer service is excellent--attentive and knowledgeable. The best part is you get to taste test all the different options, so you're not "going in blind" when you try something new. Great place for people who love to cook, those looking to up their kitchen game, and for gifting. The Grapefruit White Balsamic vinegar is probably my favorite, but it's hard to choose. They also have an olive oil that truly tastes like butter...perfect for vegan popcorn!

My husband and I came here for a Google Local event. We never would have thought to stop in, if not for the event, but we are so glad we did! This place is amazing!

It's an entire store of nothing but olive oils, vinegars, wines, and items that go along with those things. The owners will take you though an olive oil and vinegar tasting. I know that sounds really weird, but it was actually really great! You get a tiny cup and you just slurp the olive oil back over your tongue. Because this is excellent quality olive oil, you don't get that coated, oily feeling in your mouth that you would expect. And the difference in taste between this excellent, fresh oil and the oil you get at the supermarket will Blow. You. Away.

While you're tasting, the owners will describe to you the difference between the oil they sell and the oil sold at supermarkets (and basically anywhere that's not a specialty oil shop). Once you hear that difference described, you'll understand why it tastes so incredibly much better than any olive oil you've ever had.

Go here or to the one downtown. Do the olive oil tasting and the vinegar tasting. It's a super-fun activity that you'll be glad you did, and I guarantee you'll decide to bring some of this excellent stuff home with you.

Love this store! The best oils and vinegars I've ever had. I wish I had got the name of the delightful lady that helped us today. She was so awesome. Paired oils and vinegars for us in a way no one has before!

Love this shop. Received their pomegranate quince vinegar as a gift and loved it. When I stopped in to buy more, they were out, but sales person told me she could get me a bottle later that day, took my name and number, then called me a few hours later when it arrived. Excellent customer service.
And the selection and flavors are amazing

What first drew me into visiting this place was when I heard it let you sample different olive oil's and vinegars prior to buying. Without a doubt, my favorite is off all their selections is a garlic infused olive oil and their aged balsamic vinegar. Let's just say I've been visiting this place and the one downtown for many years. They also have a very good selection of infused olive oil's and other vinegars :-)

Lovely specialty oil and vinegar shop with other wonderful goods available. The two ladies there are very friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful! I will definitely be back when I'm back in town!

This is the most amazing store. The selection and quality of offerings is the best I've encou tered. The flavors are incomparable, you must try the butter blend for everyday cooking. Keep in mind the quality and purity will NEVER allow you to enjoy grocery products any longer. Con Olio is AMAZING!!

If you travel to a country like Spain or Italy, you'll become convinced that they're just all better cooks than we are. Not in the least. They just know to use fresh ingredients, always. That includes, very importantly, oils and vinegars as that is a major part of the taste of their food.

Con Olio is one of the only places in Austin that you can find truly fresh olive oil, and it makes more of a difference than you would ever believe. Come here. Taste a few of the oils (and vinegar) and see what a huge difference this one ingredient will make.

The have a great, small staff that all truly believe and know the product. Recommended.

One of the best speciality foods stores I've been too--and I've seen a few!!! The staff is so helpful, the tasting is a great perk and you walk away with such great products! I brought mine all the way back to Chicago! The garlic oil is my favorite to cook with and I serve the basil oil with crusty bread anytime I have guests to dinner! This is one of my favorite places in Austin!
