The prices are amazing if you go at the right time. They have a really good selection of fruits and vegetables, but you have to look very carefully to ensure the freshness of what you're buying. Also remember to check expiration dates on the frozen items and the food items on the shelf. Other than that, it's a great place to go if you're on a tight budget but still enjoy buying name brand foods.

Hard working staff. Really good prices and variety of items. Lol! The customers are a different story! They are rude to the staff and it's annoying. Other than that, this place it great!!

They always have lots of holiday and seasonal decorations.

99 Cent store has everything. Wrapping paper, toys, household items, plates, cups, glass ware, shirts, drinks, frozen foods, fruits, and veggies, and what ever else you can find. Plus with everything 99. Cents and up. But not expensive

Well....I love the fact that their inventory changes every week as in different items a week I spend too much time in there,but it's clean never too crowded,and the employees are really polite and informative. Even tho there a different crew every week.theres only 2 dedicated faces I see everytime I go in the rest of the crew are always different. All in all it's a great store with great prices on name brand and non brand.

I just want to congratulate the new manager. The store is so much cleaner, and it's such a nice shopping experience. All the workers were so friendly and helpful. You're doing a great job!

One of my favorite discount stores there's like five of them in San Antonio if you've never been to one make a trip even if you live in Austin like I do it's worth the drive they have everything from food clothing shoes toys art beauty products unbelievable Garden Supply it's awesome and you cannot beat the prices

I was very happy to grab a few day of the dead items and to get my mom some gnomes on sale for 37 cents a piece. I ran in to grab a few cleaning supplies and couldn't resist to make a quick walk through to grab a few things. Lol everytime I go in I spend like a 100 bucks. Due to me being in a hurry I only spend 40. But always great decor items and prices. Yes 99cents I am addicted to your store.

I have been to four .99 cents stores and this one on Walzem Rd San Antonio Texas. I found him working the floor I asked if he had more products in the back. He’s the only person that took the time to help me even went to the back to see if there where anymore products. His name is Alonzo very helpful he went that extra mile. So kudos to the young man.

We frequent this place as I work just up the street. While we won't buy produce here, they do have regular shipments and we often find amazing deals on food and products that we need.

The staff is usually friendly, although the checkout lines make it difficult to swing in on a lunch break. The shelves are normally well stocked and the selection is diverse and robust.

This is by far the best location in the NE San Antonio area.

We went to just browse and came out with lots of stuff lol. The staff was very warm and friendly. They even told me to download their app and sign up so I could save an extra $5 on my purchase today. She was very nice and patiently waited as I enter in my info. It was a bit crowded long lines not enough registers open. But overall I enjoyed myself.

This store offers amazing 99 cent deals on food & produce! I found bacon, cheddar cheese, rice pudding cups, name brand cereal, and fresh fruits & veggies for a steal. They also have Maybelline makeup for 99 cents!!! Super friendly staff too! You can exchange items within 9 days of purchase!

I love this store. It seems cheap by the name 99cent but it's not..and not EVERYTHING is 99cent..but for the name brand products the prices are really decent.!! It's clean the employees are nice and informative.and what I like most is they're ALWAYS STOCKED WITH GOODS AND DIFFERENT ALL THE TIME. WITH SEASONAL DECORATIVE ITEMS FOR EACH HOLIDAY.

You got to look at things carefully make sure the prices are the correct prices on the items and you save money here and food stamps so be careful what you buying make sure everything's up to date and you're good to go workers are very helpful.
