I stopped by on Sunday morning for an obscure piece of hardware and they were extremely helpful and had exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t help but notice the spectacular garden selection and returned that afternoon and bought several blooming plants and a tree. We certainly appreciated Jill’s help with picking out our plant selection.

I love Ace Hardware. I chose this location because is closest to home. The staff is great. Shaban is my to go to expert in home improvement. Every time I am stuck in a pickle with my home renovation projects, I visit Ace hoping to see Shaban and he always has the perfect solution. Sue is also incrediblly kind. She cheers me up every time I cash out with her. The store feels like a second home and the staff feels like family. Thank you for always being so helpful and hospitable!

I’ve been to this Ace Hardware a few times, including once during the Pandemic. The staff have always been quick to help when needed and very courteous while doing so. Of course it’s smaller than one of those big warehouse type stores, but they’ve always had what I needed when I needed it. Great store and I will be sure to visit more in the future.

It was a rainy & lazy Sunday so we got some DYI projects done. We've been everywhere to find one of these. They have a Great selection of flowers & Garden supplies.

A nice big Ace nearby with a large selection on hand and helpful, knowledgeable employees to help you find what you're looking for.

Great place to shop. One of the bigger Ace hardware stores that have a bigger selection. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Was an alright experience. It wasn’t till I met this tall guy named Curtis that helped me. He made my day 100% better.

I called looking for some tough to find soil amendment. I called and was put through to Norma Jean. She checked and they had it! She loaded on a cart for me and had it waiting when I got there. Can't beat that fir service.

We got a very nice grill that was already assembled. Couldn't have been easier. Very helpful staff.

Returned to the newly renovated store today. Wow!! What a great job you guys did. Store is brighter and full of useful products. Shared photos with friends of the new Milwaukee and Klein tool displays. I think you now have more than other big box hardware stores. Like the new store organization and the fact you kept the friendly familiar faces on staff.

I just want to share my experience with Ace Hardware in Palatine. I purchased a lawn mower from another a store less than 6 months ago. It stopped working I called Ace in Palatine and asked them if I could bring it in there the manager was very nice and said yes. I brought the lawnmower in and they told me it could take up to a couple weeks. They were very kind and very good they fix the lawn mower at no charge to me even though that particular store did not sell it to me. Very thankful very good store I give them 5 stars and I wish I knew the manager's name because I really would like to say a very special thanks to him. I also was informed after I got the lawn mower back at most stores would have charged for the service as that particular service would not have been covered under a warranty. But they did cover it and fixed it at no charge thank you so very much

I was looking for a plug for one of my chemical dispenser.
didn't know the thread or if this store carry's them.
and there he was Mr. Ralph offer to help with my hunt.
he was very knowledgeable on what we where hunting for .
we found it. Instead of buy a new disperser we fix it.

This Ace is a great neighborhood hardware store. For a small place, they actually have a lot of options and mostly all that I needed for home repairs.The Ace representatives were extremely helpful. Today, I stopped to picked two tubes of caulk to do a toilet repair job. The cashier was very observant and pointed out that I grabbed a White and Clear tube of caulk. She prompted to confirm with me if I’d wanted two different kinds of caulk. Great catch. I wanted 2 White tubes!!! I will keep shopping here. Keep up the good work ACE Palatine!!

Mr. Shaban (apologies for the spelling if I got it wrong) helped me find an adapter for a water filter I had bought. No other stores or chains had a solution, but he figured out what I needed and also had what I needed in stock. For that I commend the store and will be back.
