Capri Deli & Pizza In Palatine

This place is the definition of a solid good fresh Italian sandwich! Flavor is an 11/10 and would highly recommend the Capri special sandwich on the homemade fresh focaccia! I’ll be back to try everything else on the menu. The staff/owners are very friendly, welcoming and happy to answer any questions!

Capri special with everything on it. 8 inch if you want leftovers. So delicious, the warm fresh focaccia is like a dream. It's drool worthy even after it's cold. *Chefs kiss*

My wife and I both saw a review for Capri on social media, so we had to try the Capri Special on focaccia. WOW! We were amazed with how BIG, flavorful, and fresh the sandwich was. I also got a slice of pizza to go which was, similar to the sandwich, massive and delicious.
My favorite part though, was how friendly the staff was! The woman who took my order was so nice by welcoming me to the restaurant, giving me a menu to take home, and recommending an order for next time (and we'll definitely be back)! I overheard a man named Tony, who appeared to be an/the owner, talking with other patrons and he too seemed extremely friendly! They also have a good looking catering menu!
In short - amazing food, awesome service! Happy to have them in Palatine!

Happen to find this little gem while waiting for a tow truck for my boyfriend‘s truck today. I was thinking Subway, but then I found this. I am so glad that I walked in there, and that she talked me into the focaccia Capri style. The foot-long is massive the sandwiches, and the meats are phenomenal and the service could not have been better, I don’t care if I live 40 minutes from here I’m coming back !!

We’ve been driving past this place for years but never stopped. What the heck is wrong with us??? Had the 8” Italian focaccia & a side of pasta salad. They were both outstanding. Enough food for the 3 of us with leftovers. It’s going to be difficult to drive by now without stopping. Will definitely return

I love this place. The best focaccia I've ever had. I totally recommend the Capri special with everything on it. The spilt pea soup is so good too. This is gonna be a regular stop.

I've lived in Palatine for 20 years and just tried Capri Deli. Wish I found it 20 years ago. I won't get a sandwich anywhere else now. This deli reminds me of my childhood with my Sicilian relatives. Friendly, good people and great food.

The food is excellent. Quality ingredients from an even higher quality family. They cook with love here and you can taste it!

Delicious sandwich! I need to go back for the pizza. Old school traditional Italian restaurant focused on sandwiches and pizza. The bread and dough is obviously made in house.

We’ve ordered from Capri Deli for years and have always gotten the Caesar salad or meatballs or pizza slices. Today we got the Capri Special on focaccia (as per a Tik Tok suggestion), meatballs, and cannolis. The food was ready for pickup in the time they said. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! They made the cannolis right in front of me, so fresh! They do not disappoint. Thank you for delicious food and great service.

Absolutely phenomenal! A hole-in-the-wall joint you'll love. The meatball sub is HUGE and the homemade bread is to die for. The pizza is pretty bomb as well!

Capri Deli is amazing! I have been their multiple times now, and the food does not disappoint. The Capri sandwich is one of the best Italian subs I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back!

Food is very good. Owner is very welcoming. Above pic of meatballs w/sweet peppers and antipasto salad. Prices are a bit high but large portions/quality of good make this very worthwhile place for a quick bite.
