Great setup, easy movement and flow thru the aisles, had plenty of open self cash outs, but the wait lines were down the aisles for cashier lines. The self cash out computer kept telling me to place the item back in the bagging area, when i placed it there and never moved it. It did it 4 or 5 times throughout my checkout and had to have an employee come over and fix it. When she came over for the last time, with a smirk on her face, I voiced my frustration and said if it does it again I'm leaving everything here and walking out. With today's technological brilliance, this process should not have this many hiccups. As i was waiting for her to fix it, I looked around and 6 or the 7 spots being used had their lights on to be fixed as well. Ugh!

This particular location is so much less expensive than the in-town store. It's a little outside of town, but parking is easy, Walmart is in the plaza and the savings are worth it! I am told that Friday is the best day to shop for deals. During my last visit an employee took it upon herself to tell me about an expensive ravioli that was on sale as well as other sale items that the store was showcasing. Very nice!

Just wanted to say normally after using self check out I need a drink and dread it, but today was different! The nicest woman was the attendant, her name was Mary lou. No matter how many times that damn sensor went off and she had to come over she always had a smile on her face and said something to make me laugh! I hope she knows that her kindness made a difference in my day and Im sure for many others. She is a huge asset to your team! God Bless her💕

good customer service and selection- fish and beef

I have to use a rollater to walk to S&S and every time I get hamburger meat and get it home and open it to find it is olive green inside and smells. Also, I tried the premade hamburgers by Laura and what a horrid smell!! The meat they put on clearance is a disgrace. I wouldn't feed it to my dog!!

Wow, what an incredible experience. I called ahead asking about their lobster supply and mentioned I was in need of 3 of them. I walk into the store and the lovely Jamaican seafood attendant, I didn’t catch her name, already had 3 lobsters bagged up and ready for me. All credit goes to her and she is what made this experience what it was.

Best of the 3 Stop & Shops on the island. Well stocked, easy to find things, friendly staff. Would easily recommend over Middletown & downtown Newport.

Also, kudos to them for handling the virus well. The store wasn't hectic at all when I went, everything was organized and well laid out.

The people here make this my favorite store. Their produce is well managed (much better than Shaws), and they have all my favorite brands. Always carts available, always clean (bathrooms, too!) and checkout is really fast. Convenient location, easy parking, just dont like that spooky robot that goes around looking for messes to clean. Creepy!!

Always good except the prices but the people who work there are awesome!

I'm the captain of the Fishing Vessel Timothy Micheal out of the state pier. We buy lots of grocieries at SNS every fishing trip and everyone in the store goes out of their way to make the experience as painless as possible.... Thank you guys.

Only shopped at this location a few times. Store is designed like most other locations. Staff is pleasant.

Outstanding Grocery Store. The Rewards program and bag as you shop options is amazing. I wish every store would adopt it. so much faster and easier.

Made a quick stop in for some snacks. This place is great! Everyone I encountered inside was nice too.

It went very good and I cant complaint, because the breakfast was delicious and the coffee hit the spot.

Ran in quickly to stop & shop... picked up some great fried chicken 🍗. Yummy
