Just had another wonderful shopping experience at Harris Teeter. Needed a few last minute things for our holiday party. They even had a rare Hollandaise sauce that was gluten free! We also saw jars of local Paul's Place relish. You gotta love the variety and selection at HT.

Best grocery shopping experience in town, with the best resident in-house sushi chef (Zaw)!
Management pays attention to details here an it shows.
Always a pleasure, unlike the other chains in town that are somewhat mis-managed.

I keep supporting HT because they were the only grocery store open during and right after a hurricane. They have a great selection and variety of products. The store is always clean and staff are friendly. Sometimes it's worth the extra effort to travel a bit out of our way.

Still giving it 5 stars because I love HT but man I am having the slowest cashier in Wilmington at the moment. I have had time to email, Facebook, people-watch, write this review, take pictures. Painful.

Medium sized store, has everything but extensive hot bar, salad bar and pharmacy. Clean, friendly. Good hours and convenient location. Has nice bakery/deli, including international foods.

This 5 star goes directly to Chris at the Long Leaf Mall Harris Teeter location. This gentleman has gone above and beyond to assist me during my shopping experience. He is always kind and eager to present a smile. I have generally had an excellent experience with the store's services. I have been a long time patron of HT. However, there is one issue that is arguably minor and that is the return process for spring water bottles. It involves bringing a cart full of water bottles into the checkout and then it requires the assistance of someone to scan a barcode at the register. I have to wheel all the bottles down the bottle repository and I was in a quite a hurry today. The water bottles' "cage" out front is supposed to be a faster means of achieving this goal. However, the mechanism to dispense the ticket is always broken. Let me emphasize that I am not chastising the managers or anyone else at this store. In fact, I would venture to guess this would be a matter for the employees at the corporate level to address.
Regardless. Chris exhibited exemplary effort and took my cart outside to drop off the bottles and then helped me load them up. Naturally, this is just the latest in a series of examples where Chris exceeded my expectations otherwise I wouldn't make draft such a review. During the pandemic grocery stores have done well. They of course benefit from the hardest working folks during these unexpected economic times. But sadly, and increasingly, the rewards of decent compensation is illusive at many places of employment. I hope someone like Chris is acknowledged for his dedication to a company that would look to rehire for his position almost immediately if he realized that there's zero chance to improve the likelihood of advancement or raise in wages and left. He deserves recognition and if he has already received it, great! One thing is certain, for me I have been choosing where I spend my money on places that treat their employees well. And due to the the rising costs of inflation really spending less and less money everywhere. I realize there is supply issues and other financial obstacles out there, and I will continue to shop at HT because you are a superior chain. I look forward to seeing how things progress for Chris, especially after the posting of this review!

I absolutely love this grocery store. The variety of food items is the best - especially for vegetarians. It's clean and you can always find someone to help you.

I didn’t change the stars because this Harris teeter is my go to!! Our wedding was October 15th and I ordered our mothers’ corsages and my own bridal bouquet and I must gush about the arrangements we received! I was very specific and met with Tippi (floral manager) and we spent about an hour discussing details, colors, additions, what would look best, ribbon, THE WORKS! I even checked back in the week of to make sure all was good to go and we adjusted some details. She was so patient, likeable and sweet! And she made the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever had for anything (I’ve had bouquets for different events before) and compared to other places this by far was the most put together and beautiful arrangements! My bridal bouquet was gorgeous and I was blown away! The corsages were perfect and just as beautiful! THANK YOU SO MUCH TIPPI!! I’ve told everyone that’ll hear me 😂 I’m going on two weeks being married and my flowers don’t look that bad while drying them out!

Side note: it was budget friendly (we had a tight budget) and their flowers are super fresh

My mother, Lisa Ratio, is hard of sight and came to your store to pick up groceries-Dakota, one of your employees, helped her pick up her groceries and helped her do her groceries, which I am forever grateful for. Dakota is an angel and my family is blessed to have her.

I worked there as a meatcutter P/T in the early 90s and it was an impeccably managed operation and appears to be same today. The perishables were properly handled and if there was any question about spoilage the items were thrown out. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores but worth it.

Harris Teeter needs no review for it continues to be a very great shopping trip and I add go by the bank to check your money first. In defence of the prices they do carry anything on earth and 50 percent more of any item that.they can get in the store. All the novelty items will make your grocery store shopping a lot of fun Check out all the animal balloons when you first go in. And can anyone resist the yummy deserts? Have FUN!

They have everything from basics to delicatessen and international fare. Excellent, helpful butchers. Many bogos and 5 % Sr. Discount on Thursdays very much appreciated. Customer service readily reimburses any receipt errors. Very good place to shop ! I love their Specialty produce!

Great store overall but want to give special thanks to a gentleman named Ernie, that works in produce! He goes above and beyond the call of duty to get me what I need. I’ve been treated very well by this gentleman. If there is a fruit I want, mainly watermelon, and there isn’t any in the cooler, he’ll stop what he’s doing and make sure I get what I want. Exceptional employee that will keep me coming back! Thanks again Ernie!!!!

Amazing beer selection and friendly employees.

The sushi is fresh everyday and very good. They have a great selection of sushi to choose from. The store lay out makes it easy to find what you're looking for. They have a great selection of healthy food and organic food. It may be a little expensive but it is worth it for the quality of food you are buying.

Great meat and seafood department. I need to give a shout out to Ed in the Meat Department. He always provides great tips suggestions on my purchases. This week we found jumbo lump crab meat on a managers special. I quickly changed the menu from tuna to crab cakes. Ed always has a smiling face and is a joy to see each week.
