I went in to grab some stuff and while I was there I watched the young guy behind the counter walk a lady to her car with her items. The lady was very old and the young guy stayed with her, held her door, then put her items in her trunk. He then ran back inside to ring up my items. I should have asked his name but this happened on July 17th at approximately 5:00 pm. Management, Please take a moment to acknowledge this young man. Thanx!

Walgreens has stepped up with their staffing! Great service now in enfield on Palumbo Drive.

They really care! They didn't have the prescription that we needed for our kitten and they called around and found a pharmacy that did have it. That's above and beyond !

I have been to this Walgreens a few times now, once for a flu vaccine. The staff on the floor and at the pharmacy have always been polite and friendly.

Went in for my COVID shots for me and me daughter, great ex and very quick friendly service.

You can tell how hard the folks in the pharmacy work. Kudos to them

Every once in a while a person startles you as you’re going about your ordinary errands. Today it was Amy Michelle at Walgreens in ENFIELD.

Not only was her greeting warm and genuine, she inquired about my welfare with such real caring it literally stopped me in my tracks.

I was merely dropping off a Fed Ex package. But this dear woman cheered me, on my first day driving after a week with whatever awful virus is going around.

She left a good impression at a Walgreens I’ve never been to before. I think I’ll have to make it a regular stop.

I went in for a vaccine and was very unease with the sanitation of the area and administrator of the shot. No one sanitized the sitting area after one couple left. Did not have confidence the shot administer had washed hands and put on clean gloves.

This pharmacy is impossible to get a hold of. A phone call to ask about a prescription is at minimum a twenty minute wait. I have full time job and can’t spend all day trying to get a hold them. It’s not the staffs fault there just aren’t enough people working. It’s absolutely ridiculous the hassle I have to go through just to see if my dr called in a refill.

My family and I followed the pharmacist from Somers Pharmacy to this when it was still Rite Aid. As Rite Aid it was amazing. They delivered meds the day after (if not the same day) we’d call in the prescriptions. The Walgreens takes over. It takes them days to finally bring us the order and then it’s generally only 1/2 the things we called in. The phone is always busy with 15+ minute waits. Oh, also I changed insurance companies and they can’t seem to get it that I have insurance, have had it for months, and wonder why I’m mad that they charge me full price for my medication

The pharmacy only partially filled my prescription with a 7 day supply instead of the 30 day supply prescribed by my doctor. When I questioned this, the pharmacist rudely told me to complain to my insurance company as that’s all they will allow. I called the company, was told the pharmacy should have pushed the entire number of pills prescribed, and if there was a problem, they should have called the company 800 number provided. I called the pharmacy again, spoke to the same pharmacist, who told me to take my partial prescription as directed, and get a new one from the doctor if I need more. I tried to give him the 800 number, but he would not take it. I did what he said to do, but was still not helped.

Avoid for vaccination. The person giving booster shot was not friendly and careful while pushing in the needle. I felt he was distracted with something. He pushed needle so hard and quick that pained for very long. No one gives vaccine like this. Avoid if you can.

I have been going here for 20 years and never had a problem, until they changed from Rite Aid to Walgreens. They should never ever be out of insulin when someone's life depends on it! I am so disappointed. Rite Aid would have never let that happen.

One star is generous. Been sick for a week went for a covid test. Sat in the drive through line for 30mins. Ok not bad. Get to the window, "sorry we are behind on covid tests and have to go to lunch come back in an hour."

Ever since they changed over to Walgreens they are absolutely horrible!!!!!!!! They are rude, they take forever to fill prescriptions! I literally waited in line with 3 cars in front of me in the drive through and it took 30 min for me to get my medicine. Do not have your scripts sent to this pharmacy!

Never again. 80 pills in a refill for 30. Pharmacy manager less than concerned. Told me I could bring in to the store or destroy them myself. Obviously do not have a policy and procedure to QC these.

Hideous place !!!! Stay away.. went for 2x2 passport picture and ohhh sorry cameras not charged .. oh well.. sorry and walks away... horrible service.
