Mthe staff here are always so helpful and friendly. Their selection is amazing and their prices are on point.

Spec’s is the best- known liquor store chain in the Houston area and it is the one at which I visit with the greatest frequency. Some of the stores are slightly better than others and one of my favorites is this location at 24417 Katy Freeway.

What sets this Specs apart? There are many factors and one of them is the size and selection. Some Specs are larger than others and this is, indeed, one of the larger ones in the Houston area. They have a large variety of wine, beer, liquor, and other non- boozy drinks as well as snack foods and supplies. There are always new beers arriving and I like that I can find new beer to try on each visit.

Another reason I like this Specs more than others is that, while it is large in size, you can see all of the aisles and that is because the shelves are low. This might seem like an unusual thing to list as a pro, but I like it because, no matter where I am standing, I can scan the rest of the store, see where I need to go, and start walking in that direction.

Samples are a regular part of the fun at Specs and it is common to get small samples of liquor here, plus the occasional wine or beer sample, too. The checkout lines move quickly, and the store is clean. Add everything up and you have a Specs location that ranks among the very best in the chain.

Amazing selection of spirits and beers. If you want to save 5%, make sure to love you with cash or debit card.

This has to be one of the biggest, most organized and clean Spec's that I've ever visited. I couldn't see no empty shelves, everything is stocked and all bottles labels were facing the front. I'm never able to find my favorite vodka, most Spec's are always out of stock. I was lucky to find my smirnoff Tamarindo flavor. They had 4 registers open even though it was 5 pm and not a crowd at all, in and out in less than 7 min. The cashiers worked in a fast and courteous manner.
I love this place and will be coming here from now on.

Good selection of beer. I just wish there was more local and state wide selection there is mainly just national brands and I don't want to support them anymore

I went to the Specs by the MainEvent on I-10, big store, great selection of wines,spirits cognac,etc. (as with all Spec locations), clean store, great prices, Store was packed, but lines move quickly over here.

Specs had everything I need it. The best part is the customer service when I was trying to find a liquor. The lady went above and beyond and even explained some other flavors of liquor. Great experience!

Still fantastic customer service, these ladies are the best. Angel helped me today, she was so engaging! I appreciate that the employees at this store really seem to enjoy their jobs

If you are looking for great whisky...Go in and ask for Will. Great selections and fair prices on most of their stuff.

I couldn't locate a particular item and upon inquiry, the cashier went to a computer to assist me. She then requested help from a co-worker that was more familiar with the floor stock. Unfortunately, I didn't get their names, but next time I will. Thanks again for going the extra mile!!

Great selection, helpful staff.

Helpful staff. On the spot. They always have my preferred poison in stock and I get a discount for using debit or cash. They often have reps in there giving samples (yay!).
And I can pick up candy and snacks for my grandson while I'm there. Good place. I like it.

Great store. Clean and well organized. Very good prices and great customer service.

Bug variety. Fair prices for Tx. Great knowledgeable staff. In and out. Never wait in long line. Managed extremely well. Employees really seem to like their job. That comes from well managed store that treat their employees with regard. Good job Specs.

The best spec's in our area by far. They have everything and very knowledgeable personel (whiskeys and wines) here. Will is very knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond.

My favorite liquor store to visit. Not only for the vast variety of liquor and wine, but also the fine variety of imported cured meats and cheeses as well as kitchen utensils and tools.
