Ben Thanh (Asian Exotic Grocery Market)

This is by far my favorite Asian market in the area.
Staff are always really friendly and their selection and prices are much better than others in the area.
Their hours they are open are also better.

In every criteria I can think of this is the best in the county.

This is a great grocery store with all kinds of neat products and specialty items you won't find at the bigger grocery stores. Fresh Asian chili peppers and turmeric are an example. I don't always know the name of what I want, but the fine folks who work there always help me find it. They also give me great recipe and cooking tips. The store is laid out logically and the shelves are well stocked. The prices are reasonable and for the main stream items sometimes less than the big grocery stores. I like the friendly and welcoming feeling I get when I come in too. It's never crowded which is also a bonus. It's definitely the first place we go to get ingredients for Asian recipes.

Wide assortment of items for Asian groceries and produce. Different kinds of ramen, rice, noodles, pantry staples, and snacks. Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Filipino, Chinese, some Japanese and Korean items.

Best place to get all the ingredients for my chamorro food. If they don't have it give it a day or two and it'll be there. Also the owner is really nice and helpful enough to order things they don't carry for me.

Has variety of items. I was looking for anchovies which i couldn't find anywhere then went here and they had it. The fruit are also very fresh.

They have great Selections, I always buy my fresh veggies here, nice employees

I'm new to Asian cooking, but this place had everything they said was usually hard to find. It was just interesting to go in and see all the different items. Looking forward to going back.

They have some good stuff here. Fish and all kinds of good stuff

This is my all time favorite shop! I can find anything I need for an of my Asian dishes, snacks, drinks, fruit they have it ALL!! And they are super friendly and helpful. They also take EBT which helps out a lot! Very reasonably priced

Ben Thanh is a great Asian market. Super variety and reasonable prices. More than that, you get a warm feeling of community with other shoppers and the owners. Our favorite Asian market, hands down

Great asian market. I find all I'm looking for here. The price is also better than the other asian markets in the lacey area.

They always have the items I need in stock and are very friendly. I come from out of town and always chose to shop here. Great produce, always stocked up, and the cashiers and staff are always so friendly and welcoming.

Produce looks so fresh and they have products you will not find in a normal grocery store. I went here hoping to get a more authentic curry paste because my home cooked isn’t as flavorful or spicy as in restaurants. They curry paste selection was not the normal (taste or Thai) that I find at normal grocery stores. Hopeful this paste paired with fresh herbs will make the difference!

Someone is trying to put this establishment out of business. I buy groceries from this market for over three months now. The people working there are very nice and honest and they work hard for the Dollar like all of us. On Google maps this establishment was labeled "Permanently Closed". I rode on a bus and went there, the store has a sign that says "Open". I was really confused. I walked inside and talked to the owner, he said that he has no idea about the Permanently Closed label on Google Maps. I showed him on phone what it says on google maps about his establishment. He got really upset about it, someone is trying to put him out of business which is terrible thing to do to a person that has a family who is working hard to make it happen.

I want to correct this with the Google Maps people. The KN Halal Market located at Tanglewilde Shopping Center, 7255 Martin Way E, Olympia, WA 98516, is an open business and it has been opened for thirteen years as the owner explained to me. The person who is trying to destroy KN Halal Market ought to be sued, and I hope they will find this sick person.

They are on Martin way, literally everything good is on this street. Thy always have something unique. Sometimes a bit pricy, but the cram such a huge selection into their shop there's always something to pique my interest on the cheap.

This is a wonderful store. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. The variety of fresh produce is amazing. I didn't recognize most of it. :) I found curry leaves, lemongrass, black mustard seed and basil leaves with purple veins, all things that I was looking for, plus so much more like bitter melon. I'm not brave enough to try bitter melon yet. There was even mochi! I missed living in Renton where I could get mochi from Uwajimaya. Now I can get it here. :D
