Happy Teriyaki #3

Every time I come to Lacey, I say I'm going to try someplace new, but every time, without fail, I can't resist getting happy teriyaki #3 instead 😂 and I've never regretted it.

I've always gotten take-out, so I can't speak to the dine-in experience, but for to-go orders, they have always been fast, with great service. And I've tried many items on the menu and have always loved the food. This most recent time, I tried the oriental salad for the first time and really liked it. The teriyaki chicken is a staple, though, so that's my favorite. The yakisoba is my second favorite.

Always here for the lunch specials, excellent value, and consistent food quality. I have been coming since 2005 and keep returning every time I am in Lacey. Highly recommended for everyone

Saturday night dinner with the family. It was pretty busy but the food was amazing. I got the orange chicken dinner combo which came with white rice, orange chicken, and steamed vegetables. My husband got the beef teriyaki with white rice and steamed vegetables. My daughter got the vegetable noodles :) They were huge portions so good for lunch the next day. We will definitely be coming back!

Stopped by here because it looked like a little mom and pop shop. Good food and servers are so sweet, atmosphere was great.

Eunice was so extremely helpful today! She assisted me in finding safe gluten-free options for my family. She saved this customer from having to go elsewhere.

Turns out that all of their protein options have gluten in them (because of their marinade), with the exception of their shrimp. So if you get their shrimp fried rice that's a safe choice!

Happy Teriyaki on College and Pacific is wonderful. We've been customers for over 20 years!! Great hard working folks with awesome food.

I lived in this neighborhood 17 years ago and frequented this Happy Teriyaki every Friday for nearly 12 years.

Sometimes things don’t live up to your memories. That is NOT the case here. Nothing has changed and that is ridiculously great news.

The food is every bit as good as I remember and the service is fantastic. As a restaurant owner myself, I know how hard it can be to maintain excellence consistently. They still have that in spades.

I cannot recommend any restaurant more (except maybe my own lol)

I placed and received my order in less than 10 minutes.
I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and Beef with rice and vegetables. I love the fact that they use dark meat it was grilled to perfection, both meats were tender and juicy as well as the vegetables.
The customer service was awesome will definitely try this place again.

I haven't been here in a while and the food was great as always. I had the Hot Chicken and it was delicious!

We were looking for a place serving what could pass as a home cooked meal, and here we found it. With generous portions and a variety of combos, this is a working person's meal; sometimes you don't want anything fancy and just need a plate of comfort. The teriyaki is perfectly grilled and doused with sauce - though it may be a little sweet for some (ask for less sauce). Side vegetables are a hearty stir fry as opposed to a simple lettuce salad.
The secret here is the sukiyaki however; arriving in a pot with a variety of toppings and thin sliced beef on glass noodles, this is the dish that will have you coming back.

Great food and nice staff. Portion size and flavor of the Chicken Teriyaki and Hot Chicken were both good.

Food is always great, but just so that people know, this place doesn’t serve Takoyaki. As far as I’m aware, only kamakura serves Takoyaki around Lacey

I've been coming here consistently since the 1990s, and my most recent visit was yesterday. This has always been a wonderful restaurant which nails the holy trinity of casual dining -- high quality, large portion size, and reasonable prices. They have an extensive menu, great lunch specials, and a friendly staff. Teriyaki restaurants are a dime a dozen in western Washington, but this one is literally the best one for dozens of miles around, by a long shot in my opinion. And it's definitely my favorite restaurant in Lacey.

It should be noted that recently (spring 2023), the local newspaper, The Olympian, published an article saying that a local Happy Teriyaki "near Lacey" was cited for several food safety violations. Let it be known that there are several Happy Teriyakis in the area, even outside of the county, and they all operate independently. The article in The Olympian was NOT referring to this location, which is family-owned and retains complete autonomy over their operations. They use the freshest ingredients possible. The owner cares about making her customers happy and can be frequently seen in the service area of the restaurant.

I'm so glad this restaurant exists, and I will continue to come here as long as it is in business.

I give everything 5 stars because the food is consistent and so so yummy, the service is so fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and warmly lit and comfortable tables and waiting area. I haven't signed in yet, but the take out is great! Remember to tip for service! I love this place.

I did take out, the food was good and the staff was friendly and nice. Got my food really quick. I had enough to share with my grandson when I got back home. I don't have a HAPPY Teriyaki where I live, I really miss it. The food is always good.

Great prices for the food. Fast service and nice atmosphere.

Can't wait to come back to town to enjoy some HAPPY TERYAKI.

If it wasn't for this yummy food I would starve lol. I think that I could say that I am hooked on the spicy chicken brown rice and salad!!! Lasting me for 2 meals is awesome on top of the best ever teriyaki!!
