What an amazing hardware store they have everything you could possibly think of would be in a hardware store… And they are so incredibly helpful. I needed a new battery put in my key fob and they were very helpful to put it right in there
I needed shoe glue for my shoes and sure enough they had it. And they gave me advice on where to go get air for my tires and… And when I bought something that didn’t work quite right I brought it back in and they fixed it for me right there in then and we’re so helpful and supportive… Wonderful place

PV Hardware is an exemplary business. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We are often amazed at the hard to find items that they somehow manage to keep in stock. The prices are fair and definitely appreciate the friendly and helpful environment compared to other building supply stores.

This is a great hardware store. For bikers, there are inner tubes and some basic bike repair gear. For gardeners, there are fertilizers and seeds. For homeowners, there's a good range of home repair and painting stuff. They will mix paint for you. There's a great range of coconut doormats.

For partygoers, you can get balloons. For pool owners, there are some pool supplies. For plumbers, you can get parts, same goes for sprinkler installers, woodworkers and more.

If you are into beekeeping (or want to be) the hardware store owner can help you too and he sells honey, as well as Burt's Bees cosmetics. You can get decorations for various holidays. If you are hungry you can pick up an energy bar.

If you don't want to buy tools you can rent them - carpet cleaner, wood chipper, ladder and more.

I had no idea that this little Hardware was out here. I was doing some work for my father on the weekend needed some plumbing parts. My father told me about Portola Valley hardware went and found exactly what I was looking for was very pleased.

It’s the go to spot in PV and surrounding areas for home improvement. Saves the drive to East Palo Alto or San Carlos. They have almost everything for small projects!! Staff is friendly and helpful!
