Great local grocer, produce section well stocked. Best part of experience was interaction with Russell. He made our day!He was best check out person I have ever dealt with. Wish I could take him back with me to train PA employees how to do their job. Thanks Russ and God Bless!

Update:9/2022 the Food Lion located 2nd going north in Nags Head has become my new go to store, after issues with food orders happening to often at the other food lion..I began shopping here, and being immune compromised and needing assistance to shop all I can say is there Awesome, Dina, Michelle you both always go the extra mile for me.. your customer service is fantastic, and I hope your manager knows just how great and a asset to this business you are..thank you always..
2019""Of course its a grocery store, in a tourist attraction area, but this one ,is always on there A game, they've assisted me with issues, I love the app. For phone to add coupons, and Mrs Barbara is the bomb"I'l wait to be in her line.. also been helped by management, and she was wonderful to, I had a coupon for $5 off and she manually did so ,with a smile on her face. I can't say much for the other FoodLions' because this has became my mainstay store, but only compliant if at all, is In the summer, shop at nite, late nite, otherwise you have crowds that will drive the most sane crazy, lol' & the students who usually don't understand you, and it's irritating when they speak non- English while your being waited on,to there friends, and if you say.. example:. (I'v done this coming from a customer service background ) How are you? its ignored, and to make point. I'll wish them a 'Nice day " no response. .that's a bit rude. But I guess because there there only seasonally, to the Year-Round" staff of Nags Head,NC , South' thank you....

Great Selection Of Fresh Produce, Large Selection Of Wines And Beer. Hot Barry With Fresh Cooked Food During Certain Hours Twice A Day & Good Customer Service For The Most Part. Sometimes Best To Do Self Check Out When It's An Option Because They Do Hire A Lot Of Immigrant Workers That Can't Speak Any English 🤷‍♀

The store was stocked with good product, some great $ deals, and plenty of friendly staff! :-) Especially for this time of the year: the busiest month of the year.

Store was understaffed & without lots of products today. Maybe because it's November and all the imported help/employees have gone home since the summer ended.

When I moved to the area I was not excited about the selection of grocery stores. Never have been a big Food Lion shopper but really enjoy going to this one. The staff is always friendly and they do a great job keeping the store stocked.

This is our favorite Food Lion on the Outer Banks. It’s clean and has some of the best prices you’ll find.

This is a great place to shop. There are many options and it is a great place to stock up for a week vacation staying in the Outer Banks. When you go in they have everything easy to see and stock each week in preparation for newcomers staying on vacation. When you go do not go on Sunday or Saturday nights to avoid heavy flow of traffic as this is when vacationers are coming in and getting their weekly groceries. If you do come in on vacation it is easier to make a list and then you can ask an employee easily to find some thing. Food Lion is a much better choice to shop than Walmart as the servers are much more friendly.

I love that Food Lion does such a good deals like buy and earn and the Holidays sales were awesome this year. I usually shop there a lot it's one of the closest grocery stores around me.
Only thing I don't like it's the cashier who doesn't even say hi to you. It won't stop me from going there I just check out at different register but I wish someone tell him to at least answer to a customer greetings. I find it a little rude.

Yesterday I came in and while being assisted with my western union transfer, which is a touchy subject for me, I was explaining my story to the associate and she was very polite and listened. After we finished my transaction she handed me a bouquet of roses (once they’re expired, the give them away) she said “here take these, maybe that’ll brighten your day”
Not only did she have excellent customer service but going the extra mile to put a smile on my face meant the world to me. I’m a regular shopper here and will continue to be. I also have told everyone about my encounter. Thank you and keep up the superb customer service.

Nice Food Lion location.
The deli staff is very prompt considerate and courteous. This store is always very clean. The store has always had the items that I am shopping for including a nice supply of their special sale items.

We just rolled into town on vacation. We needed to stock up. It was a Saturday night around 630pm. The store was busy but not too crowded. The shelves seemed well stocked and we had decent choices. It was whay I know was the first of many trips this week.

I shop here every week. The store is always clean and we'll stocked. Today, I had the best service to date. A young man named Alan waited on me. He was fabulous and very friendly. Hope he stays!

Got a good variety of grocery items and plenty of them. Store is clean and not cluttered up with eisle displays like back home. Check out went fast with no price checks. Staff was friendly and no plastic bags. We got the paper ones like when I was kid.

I stopped in here for just a couple of items. Found it very well stocked and huge selection. Staff were helpful and friendly. The store was very clean and orderly. Highly recommended stop!

Very convenient this Food Lion is 24 hours. My wife and I arrived late tonight at the OBX and the ability to shop for the week was amazing.

My favorite Food Lion to shop at. Friendly staff and short waits for checkout lines. A tradeoff is this is a smaller store and the selection of items are limited. Yet something I am willing to sacrifice during the season for the convenience of a quick checkout with a friendly face!

There is always fresh produce on the shelves and they have a great selection of products for whatever you need to make a great meal.
